  1. Where was Rachael Maddow when Obama did... and where are they when Trudeau did it http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-immigration-detention-children-1.3995461
  2. So the weed legislation passed.  I look forward to the Trudeau regime vigorously enforcing legislation and busting anyone who consumes or sells weed illegally. They will shut down Illegal dispensaries and start arresting drug dealers everywhere - won't they.

The government be able to compete because they're greedy. This was never about what's good for the people of Canada. It was always about what's good for the government. All they see is dollars, the more the better. Check out who's on the boards of directors of all the new major weed grow ops. It's an eye opener.

It's fascinating hearing the many predictions of what will surely happen based on the most tenuous of evidence.

It's called observing past performance. Given the facts available when viewing past performance it doesn't require a crystal ball to predict what will happen. Get back to me in eight months or so and we'll compare the state of weed sales at that time so you can see just how right I am on this topic.

Just read thatTrump is going to  withdraw the  US from the UN human rights council ...  and rightly so.

"Doh" is commonly spelled "D'oh" and is used as an exclamation of regret, as coined by Homer Simpson.

You are thinking of "Duh", commonly spelled "D'uh", which is used an indication of ignorance, as coined by Moose Manson (later Mason) in Archie Comics.

Yes, your link backed up what I said exactly. Not bad, considering I was just writing off the top of my head. They didn't get the Moose etymology though and said "Duh" dates to the 1960s. I believe, however, that Moose was using "Duh" as early as the late 1940s.

  4. Quite a feat to have won that riding considering Trudeau pork barrelled 60 million into it.
  5. Now that unregistered lobbying for foreign governments is an enforceable felony, most of Washington is going to have to report to jail and join Manafort.

I more or less claimed that unregistered lobbying is widespread, nothing else...  spreading it aren't you

The fact that Manafort  was sent to jail still has nothing to do with Russian collusion with the Trump campaign... you know, what Mueller's supposed to be investigating

  6. Wow, the Liberal Muslim MPs are complaining about missing El Eid because of the extended debate on carbon taxes yet the Liberals picked the date which  is so obviously a manipulated and  cynical move it's cringe worthy.

The Liberals set the date of the debate on carbon taxes, not the opposition, then they refused to answer any questions. This was/is followed by a coordinated Twitter storm, accusing the Conservatives of racism.   Pretty darned shameless...

LOL  dunno but Omar Alghabra Liberal MP owes Canadians an apology.  Not only that he seems to think Parliament  isn't secular.

Clearly this was an attempt by the Trudeau regime to politicize religion as a defence against a legitimate opposition move attempting to hold this Liberal gov’t to account.  The date was set by the Liberals, Muslim MPs et al were free to skip the votes.

  7. In a Toronto park  John Tory was asked to prevent them from using a city park but said they'd be "monitoring the situation." Code for: We'll do nothing just like we did nothing last year.

  8. Wynne down - Trudeau to go

  9. Agree. Considering that the Liberals refused to give the NDP status back in 2003 the favour should be returned. Let them stew for a while - or - maybe they will persuade the Green guy to cross the floor.
  10. This from Howard Galganov, a writer from Montreal with dual citizenship, US-Can, on the Ford sweep last night: Just like in the United States, Ontarians were Treated to a Deluge of Fake News, Slanted News & Contrived Polls, all of which showed the Three Main Parties Being Neck & Neck. And when it became Obvious to the Media, that the Kathleen Wynne Liberals were Going To Have Their Asses Served To Them On A Platter, the Media & Pollsters Turned to the Communist-Light NDP as their Great Hurrah, not just suggesting that the NDP had a Shot-At-It, But in many Polls . . . Were Actually Leading. And Then - When The Bright Lights Came On . . . The Media Cockroaches Scrambled For Cover, and the “Progressive” Conservatives . . . led by the Outsider REAL CONSERVATIVE FORD . . . Cleaned the LEFT’S Clock, WINNING A MASSIVE ELECTORAL VICTORY. In Sports & Military Parlance . . . It Was A Rout!
  11. I thought that was a technical mix up - no Well, The most effective opposition to Ford will be the media and left wing foreign funded groups who will attack and or sue him at turn.
  12. The question now is, should they lower the requirement for party status which has been done before but it's pretty low right now. It would be pretty darned hard to make a comeback without funding and access etc. The Liberals deserved what they got but even so, 15 years is a long time for one party to be in power, time for a change anyway, I'm just thankful it wasn't the NDP. I also wonder if Wynne will stay on for the full term as an MPP, I wouldn't be surprised if she quits after a months - maybe she'll get a good job offer from the Feds. I just read that when the NDP fell below official party status the Ontario Liberals denied their request for an exemption, so maybe they should not consider making a change.
  13. Interesting info about our feminist PM,  who was accused of "groping" a young female reporter on assignment in August 2000. "Like father, like son" reads the editorial. If this were a conservative the media would have been all over it.  image.thumb.jpeg.0bea6c144c9034503340ad166e8794d7.jpeg

Right we don't know the whole story but the fact that he apologized but intimated that if she hadn't been a reporter well....

This isn't anything to do with Doug Ford, it's Federal.  A lot of people are ticked off at Trudeau for pushing his feminist agenda and the fact that he has said there is no tolerance, all women have to be believed...   So, according to his lights and the 'me too' movement he should be toast.

You hope he is toast, but you haven't heard anything from the woman involved, so for now it's just wishful thinking from partisan attack dogs. That was very evident in the Ottawa Sun editorial, which went on at length as you have, but also failed to provide any details whatsoever.

  14. I'm totally disgusted with Andrea Horwath and the out and out lies she tells about how many hospitals and jobs Ford will cut.  Ford has said he will not cut healthcare or jobs yet she persists in lying, and people lap it up.   Clearly she lacks the morals or ethics to clarify that they only believe this is what he will do.

Any rude or offensive comments will be deleted.

Horwath is just Wynne on steroids. Both are hard left Socialists with an obvious disconnect from the reality of average every day Canadian life. Lies are their first language with English as their second.

  15. There is enough truly scary stuff about the NDP and their radical candidates other than the guy's T-shirt. The NDP is far more radical now with more than enough reasons not to vote for them. As for the lawsuit, IMO it's extortion and of course the timing is highly suspicious, I wonder who put her up to it or if somebody paid her to do it. I know nothing about the finances but her claims about wanting more of the insurance money doesn't seem right as whoever is the beneficiary gets the dough so it's between her and the insurance company. https://globalnews.ca/news/4252483/renata-ford-estate-lawsuit-doug-ford-randy-ford/ “Renata’s lawyers have been clear to us throughout this campaign, that either we hand over money or they would go public with these false claims, and that is exactly what they have done with three days to go until the election.”
  16. What she’s doing is trying to block a PC majority so she can side with the NDP to block an investigation into the last 15 years of Liberal CORRUPTION. Ontario may only find out if the PCs win.
  17. It would be devastating for Ontario and our social services which are allready under a lot of strain and pressure. I can't imagine anyone thinking that Ontario should be providing free health care and other services to anyone who crosses our border illegally. If this happens does it mean the the NDP will direct law enforcement not to co-operate with the Feds in deporting criminals or illegals and will it result in medical tourism.
  18. Ding Dong the witch is gone...

So, are the Ontario Liberals going to register as a third-party advertiser now, given that they've conceded the election?

A PC minority, will get us back to square one - and worst.   NDP and Liberals will form a coalition.

If people want real change - then we better make sure we boot those two look-alikes out......

.......and make it a PC majority!

Don Valley West is Wynne's riding. I think Wynne may get re-elected in her riding simply due to her ability to sell her snake oil to people who have no snakes.

  20. It is evident that Horwath's excuses for NDP candidates who have expressed hatred for our police and military among other issues are without a moral  compass.

This shows very poor judgement but this is what Ontario could be facing.   Very sad

  22. So, after decades of fighting for women's rights, why should men and women be segregated because of a minority’s religious beliefs? Not only males only here, male Muslims only....wonder if this has happened anywhere else and how people would react to a Christians only session, or a whites only session . Seems to me we are going back to times of apartheid. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-560231/Public-pool-bars-father-son-Muslim-swimming-session.html
