  1. That's why I mentioned them, the owner would be in a pickle wouldn't she...
  2. Waters has always been a lunatic, but not dumb I suppose as she's managed to make a few million while in the job. Even Nancy Pelosi (must've been a cold day in hell) says her comments are unacceptable - mind you it was Trump's fault of course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gC416Jfn60
  3. Because of her position and political affiliation. Ben Carson or Clarence Thomas should go in there, see what happens then.
  4. According to Huckabee, the owner actually followed them across the street and harassed them there.. I guess the owner reaped what she sowed http://www.newser.com/story/261025/restaurant-explains-why-sanders-got-the-boot.html This restaurateur of The Red Hen Stephanie Wilkinson not only told @PressSec Sanders to leave--acc to @GovMikeHuckabee on my radio show today, she FOLLOWED Sanders' family across the street to harass them at the other restaurant they went to!
  5. Just because people disagree doesn't make them 'haters'. Have you ever watched QP, Trudeau actually spends much of his time attacking and blaming stuff on Harper cos it's all he's got.
  6. I wonder if they are closed temporarily or if it's permanent...
  7. I guess the owner didn't think about the consequence of her actions. I can only imagine the reactions if the restaurant was Chick-Fil-A asking someone from the Obama admin. to leave. Many people believe the dish being served here is hypocrisy. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/commentary-the-message-86-ing-sarah-sanders-sent-to-conservatives/ ETA: looks like they will have to watch their backs https://www.cbsnews.com/news/homeland-security-memo-today-increased-threats-2018-06-23/
  8. The rhetoric and calls for civil disobedience and possibly violence are heating up; likely because unable to win democratically, the Democrats are planning to impose their platform via a coup through civil disobedience. They have never accepted that their loss, I guess it was just too much for them to handle in a mature manner. Having said that, I don't really think there will be a civil war or close, but the hyperbole and threats will no doubt increase and someone will get hurt. I don't know who would run for the Dems next time but they had better have an excellent candidate in place.
  9. I guess they can discriminate against anyone unless they are black, gay or whatever, just not political affiliation. Trump supporters have the right to respond and paint them as bigots they are, if it cuts their business then he took that chance. He's taking a lot of flak right now so who knows in the long run how it will affect his business, depends on how the locals swing I guess. The Dems seem to becoming more unhinged all the time, especially that Maxine Waters, my goodness she's a piece of work. Regardless of how she phrased it, she is inciting people to violence. None of this is really about kids, it's all about hating Trump and anything to do with him. Gives a whole new meaning to the original 'Bush Derangement Syndrome' Surprised the WP is defending Sanders saying the: “never-at-rest social media” has blurred the lined of public and private life, the newspaper’s board wrote. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/393884-wapo-editorial-board-sarah-sanders-should-be-allowed-to-eat The editorial came the day after Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) called on her supporters to continue confronting Trump officials in public.
  10. Surely this cannot be true

Senator Schumer has instructed fellow Democrats not to pass any legislation that could possibly help the children at the border, stating that "It will help voter turnout in the midterms" and that CNN had agreed to help the Democrats with the storyline"... can anyone confirm this

    2. Hal 9000

      Hal 9000

The Dems would never agree to anything at this point - no matter what Trump or congress passed.  This is a political issue and nothing more.  The Dems entire election hinges on the discomfort of immigrants.

@Hal9000 exactly, this is the point, the Dems have said they will not co-operate and pass any legislation.  Obviously they care nothing about children, only undermining the Republicans - at any cost.  They are reprehensible. I guess Chuck Schumer doesn't believe in letting a human crisis go to waste when it comes to blocking the Republicans.

A bill would still have to pass the Senate for which they need 10 Democrat votes but still they resist.

  11.  Turns out Hamas paid a Gaza family to claim their baby was killed by Israeli tear gas last month. The baby's death made international headlines & was used to shame Israel. Turns out if was a lie. Can't wait for all those news outlets to publish a correction.
    https://www.timesofisrael.com/hamas-paid-family-to-say-baby-killed-by-tear-gas-says-gaza-terror-suspect/

  12. Exactly, it's to score political points which is why the Dems won't help pass legislation. It's my understanding that the GOP doesn't have enough votes. without the Dems.
  13. One has nothing to do with the other. I don't actually condone incarcerating kids and do get that he took a hard line in order to get something done about the situation. I'm pretty sure what Trump wanted was action from Congress meaning the Dems supporting actual legislation. They wouldn't do that, even to help kids because it was better optics for them to not do it, Schumer has proven he prefers using illegal-immigrant children as pawns to score political points rather than actually solve the situation. It still doesn't change the fact that previous administrations did it too but no one cried over it then. As for the play set for the kids (which has nothing to do with Trump and kids) it was over the top and only one item of many which points to Trudeau's sense of entitlement. I seem to remember people going bonkers over a $16.00 glass of OJ tho.
  14. Citizen referenda would be great, not for everything of course, just major issue such as a carbon tax. Also agree that there should be more free votes and more input from the back benchers. Doubt it will ever happen.
  15. Considering Obama got one for doing absolutely nothing, it would only be fair if Trump got one for getting as far as he has, he is trying.
  16. Doncha think it would get a bit like a free for all with no structure or guidelines ?
  17. Right, as I showed here https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/KIND%20-%20Betraying%20Family%20Values.pdf … and The law the separates migrant children from parents was written in 1997, and the practice has existed under every administration since. Not saying it's good policy, but the current hysteria over Trump is absurd and unhelpful. http://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/malcolm-the-current-border-discussion-is-frenzy-over-facts#Echobox=1529583397
  18. CHUCK SCHUMER: "Illegal immigration is wrong--plain and simple. Until the American people are convinced that we will stop future flows of illegal immigration, we will make no progress on dealing with the millions of illegal immigrants who are here now." (2009) What changed? This 2017 report details widespread use of family separation as a matter of policy pre-Trump. It is willful ignorance to pretend that this was not a regular feature of U.S .immigration policy before Trump. https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/KIND%20-%20Betraying%20Family%20Values.pdf …
  19. shhhh   don't tell Trump   Anyone "facilitating illegal immigration" will face a year in jail.

Now the Star is actually trivializing the holocaust because it seems (seriously) that “young Americans are overwhelmingly ignorant about Nazi Germany" – really, if that is so, its not exactly justification to evoke  murder of six million Jews. Very disturbing even from the alt left Star,

  20. I called you that in a status update because you have been trolling in a very dick head like manner so get over that one. In fact, you are going on ignore because you are as admitted on the other place, just trolling, you got the response you wanted so you could take a screen shot and use it to your advantage. I fell for the trolling and responded so quit being a dickhead. I've posted a number of links to which others have responded, you obviously didn't read them, so suck it up buttercup, your going on ignore.
  21. I haven't made any personal attacks on you, and you are just here to troll as was admitted on the other forum. However, it was more than isolated incidents whether you like it or not.
  22. In QP today ndrewScheer asked justin Tudeau about the spending on the cottage at Harrington Lake so Trudeau stood up to say he was elected to invest in the middle class and that is what they are doing. Tone deaf or just stupid

Asked about an expenditure of $7,500. for a swing set for his kids, Trudeau replied the NCC is responsible for upgrades to official residences, meaning it was not his decision. Well sir, "you could have said NO". But you did not because you think you are entitled to your entitlements. Typical Liberal philosophy. A swing set could have been purchased for about $200. at Canadian Tire.

Then,  in order not to answer the question,Trudeau calls out the Conservatives for not raising the plight of kids caught up in the illegal migrants flooding into the US. What a wimp!

It was his decision to install a hot tub which he paid for but not the thousands for installing.   X country ski trails too, reminds me of his father wanting that swimming pool, which he got, with a little help from Liberal Senator Keith Davies.

  23. Here's another one, guess who was President then https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/the_americas/mexican-kids-held-for-months-as-punishment-for-border-crossing/2015/03/10/311d319a-b2f2-11e4-bf39-5560f3918d4b_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.282062338747
  24. Well, they did admit on the other forum that they are only here to troll. “In March of 1993, The United States Supreme Court issued a ruling in Flores vs Reno. (Yes, “That” Reno. Janet Reno, Bill Clinton’s first Attorney General who ordered that young Elian Gonzalez be torn from his parents arms while hiding in a Miami closet. You might remember the iconic photograph.) The Court decided that minors could not be incarcerated with the adults accompanying them across the United States border illegally. The decision was the result of a long dispute in how to best care for these children while the adults were detained for criminal proceedings. https://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/91-905.ZS.html
