  1. That's weird, I was just watching BBC News who said 4 are out and 10 hours in between operations. Quite the task, two divers with each boy, total of 90 divers. I wish them all well and a speedy recovery.
  2. https://madworldnews.com/muslim-refugee-butchers-mom/ for insulting Islam apparently. German outlet Abendzeitung reported that a 29-year-old Afghan asylum seeker stabbed a 38-year-old woman in broad daylight while she was walking with her children in Prien. Bystanders watched in horror as the migrant brandished a knife and relentlessly stabbed the mother in her head and slit her throat. Of course, the heavily censored German media was hesitant to publish too many details concerning the suspect and his victim. Soon, however, the sordid specifics unfolded.
  3. The video here is disturbing but again, they are not allowing media to report - welcome to the new Germany https://yournewswire.com/migrant-beheads-girl-germany-merkel/ They raided the apt. of the guy who shot the video https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12618/germany-press-freedom
  4. They are putting tanks along the way, I believe the diver who died was doing just that but his tank ran out. I have a bad feeling about this; they are going to have to try and get those boys out before the monsoons hit but a 5 hour dive for those boys could be excruciatingm I think they have to try. Just hope and pray they will all get out.
  5. Right on, same in Europe. Islam is the only religion/political system protected from criticism and debate.
  6. Most people don't object to genuine refugees and regular legal immigration. This is an insult and affront to all people who come here legally going through the normal process.
  7. A Canadian journalist's point of view on the treatment of Tommy Robinson:  Barbara Kay

This is in my long lifetime one of the worst examples I can remember of a technically democratic state's willful scapegoating of an individual. It is disgusting, shameful, a terrible blot on Britain's historical commitment to freedom of speech as the pillar of their culture.

Oh, excuse me.  I didn't know who Tommy Robinson was so I looked him up.  It looks like he was thrown in jail for contempt of court, for publishing content contrary to a court order, nothing to do with "restricting his freedom of speech".  His long association with anti-Islam and nationalist groups, including starting two of his own in England, and his ongoing anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant rhetoric suggests to me that his freedom of speech has not been abrogated at all.

Barbara Kay's source is the Rebel and Ezra Levant.  I did not realize she was so far Right, or you either.  Good to know, though, I can give you the same credibility I give Taxme, Betsy and Altai, which is none.

You're excused.  Kay is a well respected journalist who would have many different sources.   I'm not that far right but you are so far left you have no credibility particularly as you refuse to admit to anything being wrong.   Robinson was sentenced without due process, which is all part of the general coverup of 'Muslim rape gangs and so on.

Same thing in Germany and other countries who hide names and omit information as in this where a German woman was  murdered and baby beheaded by an African savage which police tried to cover up. The  Police and judge enabled the murder by refusing to prosecute death threats, and by lifting a restraining order.

      http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-5607571/Woman-child-stabbed-death-German-subway-station.html.    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12618/germany-press-freedom

Labelling and calling people 'far right' because you don't like their views is just a left wing tactic to silence opinion.  Many people are opposed to what is happening in the Euroipe the majority of whom are not white supremacists but for those who believe in cover ups and open borders it's a good tactic to silence opposition.

I'm not a fan of the Rebel by any means, but they were the only news outlet that reported what was going on with refugees at schools in the Maritimes. Which is the same thing that is happening in Europe with the "Rape Game" being played there - no one wants to touch it with a 10 foot pole because you have to face all the far lefties screeching "Racists!  Islamophobes!"  You're right - it's just a tactic to silence others.

I think you are in the wrong status update, I'm talking about the murdered indigenous women inquiry, nothing to do with the U.S.   One of them said there was political interference, so I'm guessing they aren't coming up something the gov't wants to hear.

The MMIW inquiry has sent out a “shut up” letter to lawyer who just quit the inquiry citing too much political interference from Trudeau govt. Guess Trudeau isn't happy with the results, or lack of results tying this to non aboriginals.

      From Lorrie Goldstein:
I'm sure if Stephen Harper, when he was PM, had been accused of groping a woman 18 ys ago, he wouldn't have been directly asked about it by the media until 3 weeks after the allegation came to light, & the focus instead would have been on examples of Liberal "fake news".

Of course not, the CBC wouldn't be sitting on the story they would be right on it.

  10. This is true, but some would like to say that this is representative of the Republicans, it is not, they don't want him.
  11. Don't know, maybe one of our u.s. members would know. It is obvious from reading the gop does not support him. This explains it somewhat, they even made robo calls to warn people but enough voted for him. http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/daily-southtown/opinion/ct-sta-slowik-primary-election-recap-st-0322-20180321-story.html The Illinois GOP continues to denounce Jones. A state party spokesman told The New York Times the party would devote resources to supporting a Republican to run as an independent against Lipinski in November. "Arthur Jones is not a real Republican; he is a Nazi whose disgusting, bigoted views have no place in our nation's discourse," Tim Schneider, the Illinois Republican Party chairman, said in a statement.
  12. No, not within the party itself, he got signatures on his own so yes some people supported him. If you read, they managed boefore to get him off the ballot. They have never supported him. This explains it somewhat, they did not want him on the ballot and got him booted before, I guess they cannot unilaterally refuse to let him run on their ticket. They even made robo calls etc. To warn people so it cannot be said the party supported him. http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/daily-southtown/opinion/ct-sta-slowik-primary-election-recap-st-0322-20180321-story.html
  13. That makes sense and I don't blame her for not wanting the ensuing publicity if she did that. Mind you, the papers are usually okay with anonymous sources when it comes to helping Trudeau out, so why can't they confirm what happened using an 'anonymous source' He's going to get away with it as Parliament is off for the summer now.
  14. This guy has tried many times for various positions but was never able to get anywhere but this time he played the system and managed to get onto the ballot. Candidates do not need to be nominated by the party, they just need to get enough signatures to get on the ballot but previously they had managed to find fake signatures so got him thrown out, this time he collected enough real signatures but didn't submit his papers until the last minute so squeaked in on the ballot. The GOP were caught napping as they didn't expect him to do it so did not have another candidate ready and it's a district they know is Democrat so they were snookered. Ted Cruz is telling people not to vote for him as the GOP is soundly rejecting him but it's interesting how someone can get onto a ballot and run by collecting enough signatures. Seems a bit more democratic than the Canadian nomination process. https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/29/politics/ted-cruz-illinois-district-3-race/index.html https://chicago.suntimes.com/columnists/how-holocaust-denier-jones-got-on-ballot-illinois-gop-let-guard-down/
  15. Republicans have indeed roundly rejected Jones, saying he had no place in their party, denounced his candidacy, ran robocalls against him at one point and even encouraged primary voters in the district to leave ballots blank rather than vote for Jones.  (they got snookered)

This is called "the long con".  They had no chance of winning that district, so they'll throw out this guy so they can trash his Nazi ideals.  I think it's a good investment.

Ted Cruz is telling people not to vote for him.  They did get him thrown off the ballot in 2016 but didn't manage it this time.  He wasn't nominated by the party either, he collected enough signatures which he submitted at the last minute catching them off guard.

BTW, the GOP did not 'nominate' him, they only have to collect enough signatures to get on the ballot.

1/ Thread. Woke up this morning to my staff being infuriated at a Toronto Star article that a) once again trots out the tired trope that my party is Trump north and BE SCARED CANADA and b) accuses my party of spreading fake news, because we question Liberal dogma.

  20. Back to Sarah and the Red Hen: Just saw on the news that people are protesting outside but only one arrest... the owner who actually followed Sarah to another restaurant with a group of people to continue harassing her, has resigned a position she held and the place will stay closed for a while longer. Meanwhile the House could expel Waters for encouraging mob violence against Trump supporters, but that won't happen, she'll just play the race card.

How about Trudeau publicly retracts his stupid virtue signaling statement? How about he closes the borders and restores the correct way to immigrate to Canada? How about him fixing this mess he created? I think those would be the best and most correct course of action to take.

  22. Speaking about Maxine Waters - she is is violating House ethics rules by inciting a public harassment campaign against cabinet members, so says Judicial Watch... bet no one has the guts to call her on it because.....
