     I find the taking down of the first PM statue in B.C. totally abhorrent but maybe they should take down Tommy Douglas statue because he wrote a thesis on eugenics and the sub normal family which is a pretty horrific read these days.  I'd say many notable figures have done something wrong, but I guess they only get torn down  if they are conservative.

      Once we've made the precedent to remove symbols of the past using today's moral compass, there is a lot to choose from. How about the statue of Emily Murphy on the Hill? She is a fine example of a woman who accomplished some truly great things for her time, but held very racist views as well. She published her views in a book called The Black Candle. In terms of her racism she was nothing more than a product of her time.

    This is very true, most of it is just useless noise anyway... Trudeau needs to apologize to Western Canada for killing off energy east and to all Canadians for depriving us of energy independence so we could be free of despotic regimes.

    Tragic that they were killed but if Hamas didn't regularly toss rockets into Israel they would still be alive. Not to mention the incendiary bombs they toss starting fires which destroys agriculture. Too bad the 50 million Trudeau gave to Hamas isn't used for food and welfare of the people.

    Not true, it has not been debunked, we still have no confirmation of such illness, only the Muslim spin doctor. Howver, it really is shameless and ignorant of apologists for terror to use the excuse of mental illness for terrorism which seem to be their knee-jerk attributing of it tonsidering that most mentally ill people are not violent and far more likely to be victims of crime rather than perpetrators.

    Apparently just reporting crimes or incidents by Muslims is stirring it up, only non Muslim crimes shold be reported. If it where not for the Sun we would have less imfo than we do now. There was another swimming pool incident recently but no worries, he'll get off due to cultural differences. If we continue to cover up and hide incidents we enable them. Fortunately Canada doesn't have the same demographics as Europe because they are in trouble.
