  1. No. I'm refering to the lawyer guy who ran the Canadian Conservative government back in the late 80's to the early 90's and took large cash payments and stuck 'em in a safe without declaring them until he knew he was about to be caught in the headlights. But then he only paid half the taxes he should have. That guy! Ha ha!
  2. Oh noooo.. Not another moral equivalency post. Oh my! Your guy's lack of ethics are worse than my guys lack of ethics so you have no right to criticize my guy..... Are you so incapable of forming independant thought when it comes to observing the shit on a stick that is happening in the government?
  3. Neither party seems to be interested in ethics...
  4. As a non-Liberal supporter I must advise you that a conservative equivalent has already been uncovered. The scandal went to the top of the heap too. Now we have another one in the conservative ranks. Perhaps you dont mind it if a PM or a Minister shows disregard for parliament and perhaps its ethics standards , but I certainly do.
  5. It's no surprise to read that you need to look it up to know what it means....
  6. .... so why are you only pissed with the Liberals for their corrupt regime under Chretien? (which it was by the way). Dont answer that!! I know why...
  7. I'm betting the Guergis' staffers wrote that letter....
  8. .... and now unaffordable health care.
  9. Sounds like something Harper would say when he is flummoxed.
  10. Which newspaper and please specify what was unethical in the reporting.
  11. At least you are finally agreeing its an "issue". Thanks for playing.
  12. The evidence is Harpers briefcase. He stays up all night redacting the contents because his shredder is broken...
  13. Think of the word "ludicrous" as a starter....
  14. I personally dont see that happening.
  15. Perhaps you believe otherwise, but I'm betting that the US Supreme Court Justices werent involved in the writing of any Civil Rights legislation.
  16. This isnt about what some military grunt did or might have done. Its now about a government cover-up, ministers lying to Parliament and perhaps even an institutional cover-up within the military at the highest levels. As you've so deftly pointed out, we've seen this before in the military and it stunk to high heaven then and nothing has changed to make it any more acceptable behavour today.
  17. If there are formal allegations made against a Cabinet Minister, the Minister should step down without having to be asked. At least until such time if the investigation ends up clearing the minister. You cant have a minister in office with a cloud over their head (so to speak).
  18. I passed that exam and was able to skip a few grades. So I took shop while waiting for you to catch up. Your three toughest years in H.S. were grade 10.
  19. Thank you. You are correct.
  20. One only needs to look at the information we have been shown going back to the Colvin testimony timeframe. It was intuitively obvious back then that something was amiss. It has now reached the reeking point...
  21. Point taken. However, if you only believe half of it....its a really bad thing (so to speak) and it deserves a complete public investigation (ie. inquiry). Anything short of that would be a travesty.
  22. Perhaps you dont mind it if your hero PM is ethically challenged....many of us do. Again, you might wish it so but it aint about those freekin' Liberals this time. Its about the freekin' Harper thugs who could have done somthing to deal with thge problem but preferred to literally lie to Parliament. That isnt a good thing!!!
  23. Only an inquiry will bring that out. I'm betting Harper will be forced to resign once those wheels start turning...Mackay's hands are filthy dirty along with a few senior officers...
