So sad that the democrats have to use this for political gain.
So sad that Republicans can't take responsiblity for their actions.
-
Many politicians need to watch what they say. You never know how some of those crazy right-wing lunatics will react to strong words.
It's true. Even from looking at this board, I can see there are many psychotics who don't care about anyone getting killed unless they aren't born yet.
-
So it's quite obvious that Palin, Daily Kos and everybody else had nothing to do with this nutjob.
It's quite obvious that you and no one else except the nutjob himself really know what his motivations were, and all of you who claim to know where hes coming from are all full of crap.
-
It is actually pathetic to see the left now take the hypocritical position that mere ad copy can affect one to grab a gun and start shooting. If this is the best they can do, attack the conservatives they hate most when a left wing nutjob shoots somebody, then they are out of touch with reality and will not serve their base well in the next election season.
Wow. You actually think the left is one individual consciousness, don't you?
Do you also think they use grammar to control our minds?
-
You can't cite what you're referring to?
-
There's as much vitriolic political rhetoric coming from the left as the right and- MSNBC had no trouble asserting that violent Rhetoric comes exclusively From right; yet not too long ago, featured a guest calling for violent revolution from the left.
What are you talking about?
-
Generally, if someone is challenged on something though - they are expected to either back it up or admit they don't know.
And he already did the latter.
-
My reading of various left wing forums tells me that their strategy of blaming this on Sara Palin is taking hold. Never mind she's had nothing to do with it, and never mind that there is as much left wing violent ramblings as any other.
My reading of various right wing forums tells me that their strategy of blaming this on Obama's health care plan is taking hold. And they're right. It might have had something to do with it.

You obviously have a problem with English, maybe you don't understand so will repeat I said:
I didn't make a conclusion about his political ideology, I said "His ideology doesn't seem to fit any side so the left is going to have a real problem pinning this on the tea party" and
"he held eclectic viewpoints which seem to defy political classification." try again
Never mind, the democrats aren't having a problem understanding how to spin this and where to assign blame - Nothing like using a tragic event to your political advantage
You obviously have a problem with English, maybe you don't understand so I will repeat what I said:
You claimed you didn't make a conclusion about his political ideology, And then you said "His ideology doesn't seem to fit any side so the left is going to have a real problem pinning this on the tea party" and
"he held eclectic viewpoints which seem to defy political classification."
How can you state what his viewpoints are if you didn't make a conclusion about his ideology?
D'uh!
Try again
-
How dare you! I didn't make a conclusion about his political ideology, I said "His ideology doesn't seem to fit any side so the left is going to have a real problem pinning this on the tea party" and "he held eclectic viewpoints which seem to defy political classification."
How dare you! You claimed you didn't make a conclusion about his political ideology, and then immediately stated your conclusions about his ideology.
-
So, someone who goes on a shooting rampage is mentally stable - oh sure I'll buy that one LOL
Obviously he is unstable. I don't know how you can make conclusions about his political ideology based on his reading list. The only conclusive proof we have of anything is that he agreed with Sharron Angle about "second amendment remedies."
-
The guy was obviously nuts and mentally unstable with no particular ideology, he held eclectic viewpoints which seem to defy political classification.
Amazing how you can make firm conclusions about something with virtually no evidence. You're as bad as the people blaming Sarah Palin.
-
He's confused because he's interested in political history?
I'd say that's the least compelling argument that he's messed up/
-
Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and almost killed at a public event. I guess since the ballot didn't work, someone took Sharron Angle's advice about using "second amendment remedies" to heart.

I too joined this board some time ago but visit infrequently and never bother to post much. Seems the same old same old to me.
Frankly I find your contempt for the various personalities on this board insulting.
And nanny mods are always annoying.

Worst Guess Who era ever.

BE POLITE AND RESPECT OTHERS
NO TROLLING/FLAMING
NO PERSONAL ATTACKS
Wannabe mods are annoying.

I agree, Bonam. Canadians are quick to expect the government to solve some problem. This is very true in Quebec where the Quebec government has replaced the Catholic Church as the protector of the French Fact in North America.
I agree that Quebec is largely socialist, but that has nothing to do with the rest of Canada. English Canada is culturally much, much closer to the U.S. than it is to Quebec.

The Canada-U.S. border is, for the most part, useless. It doesn't provide either country with greater security, and it's just a hassle for trade. It gives work to bureaucrats and people who couldn't make it as cops though.

Based on feverish scientific review? Or otherwise?
Based on half-baked conspiracy theories and a belief in whatever Foxnews tells him.
-
On the plus side, our docility has led us to be a more peace-loving/less violent bunch than our southern friends.
bullcrap. Canadians are just as "violent" and there are just as many folks who hate paying taxes.
-
In some respects Canada is more free than the U.S.
As a born and bred U.S. citizen, I have to file a return with the IRS every year, even though I live and make all my money in Canada. Canada doesn't force its ex-patriot citizens to do the same.

involuntary does not mean those euthanized objected, it means they no longer were no longer able to make the decision on their own, no one is euthanized against their will...
It's hard to believe someone would be dumb enough to think they were euthanizing people against their will on their slippery slope. I guess you don't need brains to comment in online forums.

Great drumming is not measured by how hard you hit the skins.

Including Arizona. I guess it doesn't work.
Sucks to be proven wrong from the very context of the debate.
But I don't expect you to figure that out.
How could you?
