  1. Democracy doesn't matter. There's an excuse for anything. Hitler and Vlad would 100% agree. There's been a fraction, a layer in the American populace that never understood what democracy and the rule of law is and didn't really need it. Now it feels emboldened and is coming to the fore. Nothing is guaranteed any longer. All futures are possible. Democracy is not a given nor is it a free gift.
  2. Ronaldie? Georgie, sr? Billie? Georgie jr? Barakie? Josey? Seriously? Insane and can't see it. Eyes detached and brains, gone. Just gone over, one way with no return.
  3. If one could pull this trick off with a remote analogue of the fascist cults in Italy and Germany, mid 20th century, that could only be in the context of the third word politics. Yes juntas, dictators, democracies change each other with the speed of a shuffling deck and they sure blame each other for any number of terrible things and worse something never changes though: the third worldliness of it. And that is the doing of one specific party and it's going in the history with it for as long as the history will stand.
  4. The Republican party finally and officially took America over the third world politics line. The first one one could have been dismissed as a rarest of aberrations. No chance, now. Ten generations from now, it will be a fact studied and judged by generations. As long as the memory lives this stain will remain. No place for little lying tongues, the eyes of history.
  5. Bullsh*t. We have his first term. We have "stolen election" bullsh*t and the Jan 6. We have two impeachments, history's first. We have 34 felony convictions. We have the indictment for conspiracy to subvert the election. And we have the mass release of Jan 6 violent rioters. As a result anywhere between a severe damage to final degradation of the rule of law at least at the federal level. Justice that is executed selectively is the opposite of itself and its purpose in a democratic society. These are the facts and they aren't going anywhere. So not one chance of "just erase your memory and let it be a clean slate".
  6. No, it wasn't the thing about cuddling and smooching with politicians! Georgie? Barakie? Memory and reason, anyone? They just invented it and here's why: their idol is a 34-times convicted conman; an indicted alleged main conspirator to subvert and overthrow the constitutional order. And a pathological, non-stop liar. There's no rational way to explain it. The only hope is to replace it all, the facts, the reality with a stamp, label our ohhhh sooo cute smoochy fatass don't you just want to smooooch it. Done, but it only works with a cult a herd that's left their brains and memories at the entrance. That's what it is and try to argue that. As soon as you see or hear that tune "our cute Doodgie isn't he so cute" you know, every rational individual in the world knows what it has to be about: another stupidity that cannot be explained and defended; and another miserable brainless !diot(s), a bunch of brainless romons. Simple, factual and try to argue that.
  7. Bizarre sick cult mentality right here is calling politicians baby names like they're part of their family. They already failed. Politicians aren't fuzzy babies. They need to be held to account not cuddled with. Insane. Went gaga all the way and way past noticing. Look, it's simple, really: if it looks like insanity, it is has to be. The eyes do not lie. There are no explanations.
  8. One country does not get to make rules for everyone else. This is not how the sane world works. We need to find good partners and stable partnerships. That makes way more sense when trying to please and comfort an insane neighbor on each his sneeze or itch.
  9. For a while now, America boasted several characteristics and features in its social life and politics that kept others in the sane world puzzled, baffled and scratching their heads: no but that can't be right. Miracles don't happen. Something will have to give. No, no America pressed on, look we can throw at it whatever we like and however much we fancy and it's bound to stand right here and not as much as shake. Big bucks and democratic politics: don't mix. The table is just too skewed. Outrageously priced basic medications and generally health care. Makes zero sense in the modern democratic world. Why does it continue? Simple: big money in politics and concentration of political and media influence. Big money and media ownership: slogans aren't enough to ensure objectivity of information. Mass gun ownership: the rest of the democratic world combined doesn't come close to one country by the count of mass shootings. Gun checks in public schools, really? The cost of public education, including post secondary: just insane. And the final one, most recently: the assault on the objective truth, the reality itself under the duplicitous and deceitful slogans of "freedom" it has nothing to do with. Economy and military power, the great facade contributed to influencing people to question these doubts. Wishful thinking, progressive humanity's long time companion played not a small role. But no: miracles don't happen. The foundations of democracy were strong built by generations of thinking and caring citizens to support a better future for their posterity. They withstood crises and wars. But nothing will stand to apathy, absence of thought and care and indifference. As a drying stream, the last drops of democracy are dripping and drying away. And if it could happened to a land this rich and generous this is a stern lesson to everybody: don't follow in that path. Truth matters. Objective reality exists. Big money and democratic politics don't mix. If if doesn't look right or outright insane that's what it is there are no propaganda-driven, dumb-down "explanations": someone just wants us dumb to control and make more dough this is what it always comes down to. This responsibility is bestowed upon us with the role and privilege of being free citizens. And the moment we forget and abandon it, the democracy will go. America is falling behind on staples, trivial things in the developed democratic world: great public transit; affordable quality healthcare; high-speed trains; clean and healthy natural environment. Purses burst with billions and trillions, propaganda is pumped on the ears of dumbing by the hour pueblo yes it's great that you don't have it and can't have it, it's all for you you should be happy to pay more and outrageously for your basic medications. But look, the reality is real. A grandma in Spain takes a high speed train - right now, that will take her 300 km in just over an hour, at a reasonable price too. You don't have it and you can't even dream of having it. This is the reality of the 21st century America the land of what a trillion bucks in someone's pocket. No words can dismiss or falsify it: the facts.
  10. The lesson to the world: we need to look for, build and develop more reliable partnerships. This one country and society went into some crisis, will it get back to its senses and when no one could tell and in the condition that it is now, it just cannot be dealt with as a serious and reliable partner. This kind of attics just doesn't go away without a trace.
  11. Is that a glimpse of intelligence yet? Sure, and you're going to get them because what you thought babbling of the lying buffoon was guaranteed to be free? I hope if he proceeds with the bluster we would be able to multiply them for you very nicely, so that no stone in stimulating the return to the thinking senses is left unturned. That's what true friends are for after all, isn't it?
  12. Public Republicans absolutely will not hypocritically complain now that they were "wrongfooted" by the celebration of lawlessness with sweeping Jan 6 pardons. You gave in to it; you lead it to the power. This stain is on you. You will be held fully responsible for everything that it does to America. With the rule of law as the first casualty, factually. Before generations. No lying little tongues will get you out of this pickle now.
  13. The higher the stupidity factor is the sooner the reality may dawn on some. No such guarantee of course but there may still be hope for some.
  14. Still the creative question here is, what would he have to not do, to not see it developing in the next say two years? Let's see.
  15. Mafia bosses are routinely elected in third world politics. Big buck rules and flaunts it at whim. These are facts. They won't be removed from the reality by any whining. U.S. politics is third world because this is what it looks, does and is.
  16. And by the way a reminder: U.S. politics have factually and officially crossed into the third world zone. This is what third world politics look and walk. This is what third world politics is. Done deal. Canada watch it closely: with a grossly outdated obsolete system, you aren't immune. Canada had nothing to do with the tariffs. Std?
  17. Every time their bluff is called they are down to threats of what? Let's guess. It's not that difficult the one and default resort of all bullies. Canada didn't not initiate stupidity. It has nothing to answer for nor anyone in their sane senses to. So let's make the stupidity ratio count. The higher, the better.
  18. Sure that's the very essence of the cult mentality. They take the parts, words they like and pretend the rest of reality doesn't exist, a mental trick. Just like the last time except that guy actually built some roads. But we moved to the post-reality world so no need to worry about that part.
  19. One is the tariffs themselves that consumers in the U.S. will pay. Two is the counter tariffs targeting specific imports from certain states Three is a general publicity campaign "buy Canadian, European and Mexican" Four is promoting and incentivizing local and friendly production sources to replace imports from certain states. Five is free information: this type of a product + made in the U.S. -> these local and friendly alternatives available. Make your choice. Let's make the stupidity ratio as high as possible. Let's put our diligence and creativity to it. It's the right thing to do and it's fun too.
  20. Well, after all the bombastic bravado he's just got to go through and do something big and stupid. And it's bound to have an effect. Interesting that he hasn't started with the tariffs, so someone is in fact trying to pull his strings. Let's see how well this is going to play out.
  21. How long before the liar and buffoon runs the steaming economy into the ground with stupid tantrums and attics? What bizarre and impossible excuses will his brainless (certified 0.0% working brain) mob will find for it? It's on.
  22. History shows very clearly: one cannot rationalize these things. They cannot be trivialized and laughed off. They will consume you whole. Anyone who chooses to stay in the Republican party will assume full and personal responsibility for the consequences and outcomes. They will be adding their name to the records that will be seen and studied by generations. For this, there are no explanations or stamped excuses. The shame and betrayal of being the party that embraced it will stay with the Republicans for as long as the memory lasts.
  23. "He failed the one task that could not be failed". The legacy.
