  1. Sentenced to 3 years in prison.  Cohen - according to prosecutors - "did not fully cooperate."  I guess that means they didn't hear what they wanna hear from him.

    But the question is:

What's keeping him from fully cooperating?   He's already burned his bridges with Trump  - so why didn't he fully cooperate?

Could it be.....he has nothing more to give?

Could be. Could also be he is saving something until after his sentencing in order to get it reduced later. Time will tell.

Seems to be the trend. Even remakes of things like Magnum and Hawaii Five O are more violent than the originals. I'm becoming more a fan of Brit whodunnits. More plot than mayhem.

  10. Republucans: steadily pushing backward.  Ohio Republicans sponsor bill that suggests death penalty on abortion providers.

This bill probably won't pass, but the bill that bans abortion after six weeks likely will; this bill is essentially a ban on abortion since many women do not even realize they are pregnant till after the deadline.  The bill also offers no exemption for pregnancies due to rape or incest.

Future Ohio headlines: Sharp Increase in Women Dying From Illegal Abortion; Suicide Rates Increase Among Young Pregnant Girls, and Young Single Mothers;  Increase in Single Women and Their Children Living in Poverty and on Welfare; State Budget for Single Parents Explodes; New Legislation Tracking Down Deadbeat Dads Passes; Domestic Violence Increases as Family Court Choked With Paternity and Custody Cases.

Where is the man’s responsibility when it comes to choosing not to have sex or using the right contraception? You act like women can get pregnant all by themselves. There are health risks to any surgery, there are also health risks in carrying a pregnancy to full term. Abortion is the worst form of birth control but it is the woman who bears all the consequences of a pregnancy and ultimately it has to be a woman’s decision.

Indeed, where does life start? Pro choice means this man doesn't dictate to women what they have to do with their bodies.

Leaving old growth is letting nature take its course. I agree that removing deciduous growth is a mistake but most logged forest is replanted in the same species. Climate change and warmer winters have also resulted in mountain pine beetle infestations that are decimating western pine forests, adding to the fire risk.  California has been in drought conditions since 2011.

The fact remains, you can't rake a whole damn forest.

Raking up needles and clearing dry undergrowth in forest immediately around your home is always advised but raking a whole forest, give me a friggin break. Spoken like an ignorant city boy New Yorker.

President Trump on Tuesday ripped into French President Emmanuel Macron in a series of tweets -- hitting him on everything from his low approval ratings, to the French surrender to the Nazis in World War II, and suggesting U.S. wine is on par with French product.
Trump slams Macron for low approval ratings, French surrender to the Nazis, and wine

Donald Trump has hit out at French President Emmanuel Macron with a volley of tweets saying the French were "starting to learn German in Paris" before US intervention in the world wars, and rounding the attack off with an adapted version of his trademark refrain: "MAKE FRANCE GREAT AGAIN!"

It took the Japanese to get the US into WW2 and who knows if they would have gone to Europe if Hitler hadn't declared war on them first. There were no Americans to be seen when France went down in 1940. Aside from Pearl Harbor and the Aleutians, the US has never been attacked on its own soil. Trump talks through his ass. The US also owes a debt of gratitude to the countries that held Hitler off for over two years. The US didn't fight the godamn war by itself..

Trump is a douche. Up to 85,000 French died in the Battle of France, not an American to be seen. Canada, Australia, South Africa and South America all make wines as good as the Americans.
