  1. I was given a warning for "excessive quoting." I only quoted Army Guy's OP! I was responding to it in general - didn't want to break it down. IMO, my point: the issue is past beyond all those issues that we normally care about. The issue ruling our world right now is what's explained in my response! Is that an offense now? Just for clarity - if I'm responding to it as a whole - how would you trim the OP that I quoted, Charles?
  2. I watched it too. The media seems to be pushing and manipulating for McKay to be the next leader. He's the most progressive of all. I would like to see Leslyn Lewis win, too. She looks like a rookie but, she can be polished. She has to be polished. At least, she's not a career politician -that will be a plus point. And, she comes across as such, another likeable feature! In today's world....... being female, and black, and with her Masters degree on Environment........ not only would that help the CPC revamp its perceived image as a nestful of supremacists - she's also got a good chance at beating Trudeau. She carries no unpleasant baggage. For starter - the Liberals will be walking on eggshells with their attack ads.....and chances are, Trudeau and his big mouth will be the Liberal's biggest pitfall. Riding on the current guilt-tripping mode the world is in - she has a very big chance with Canadians (liberals and socialists alike). I urge Conservatives to SEIZE THIS MOMENT! It will be groundbreaking, and refreshing, to see her as PM.
  3. No kidding. Lol. CBC had that as "news!" I said that just before Trump won the presidency! Didn't I say that Trudeau will be on Trump's hit list? Did the book say why? I know why. It started with Trudeau's big mouth and being partial (if not openly supportive of the Democrats, touting his so-called bromance with Obama), with his bitchy drive-by potshots against Trump! Didn't Trudeau play that up that he became like a "rock star" to Dems ptsd and tds casualties? Lol. Trudeau has openly identified himself as siding with Trump's enemy - and now, it's news that Trump dislikes him? Get outa here! We saw the first obvious sign when Trump got Trudeau waiting outside for several minutes during Trudeau's first meeting with Trump at the White House. And ever since, Trump's been getting him with every opportunity he has! If Trump wins again - it will go on. It's been long too late for our PM to shut up. Trudeau - and Canada, along with him - will have to weather and endure Trump for another 4 years. Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump has anything to do with Trudeau being denied the UN Security Council. Maybe, Trump was also busy calling up leaders, doing some anti-Trudeau campaigning. Who knows. Like him or hate him.................................... Trump's got some clout with foreign leaders. And, I suspect Trudeau is disliked by a lot of foreign leaders.
  4. Lol. You can't cite it, huh? I know my Bible. It doesn't say anything about any sop. Okay. Get back to me if and when you find it. Happy searching. bye-bye for now.
  5. Yes, freely. freely available to all who receive Jesus Christ as Savior. EH? What convoluted statement is that? Doesn't make any sense at all! Explain that...........in ENGLISH, please.
  6. Here is your definition: A sop is basically a gift or conciliatory bribe, something that seals a deal. That is what Jesus gave Judas, his most trusted disciple. We know he was Jesus’ favorite because he was Jesus’ banker. Dictionary reference for sop. Something that is done or given to someone in order to prevent trouble, gain support, etc. A conciliatory gift or bribe. What sop was given to Judas?? Cite the particular verse, and explain.
  7. I don't understand what you mean about the sop. Cite the particular verse, pls.
  8. Hahahaha  oh, these celebs!  Hahaha

  9. Well, what I saw was unnecessary brutality. I had also seen that old video of a cop slamming a handcuffed woman's face on the hood of a car. Was she white, black, asian, aboriginal - does that matter? That could've been me! Or, anyone of us! Unfortunate enough to run into a thug! In my opinion, it's better for everyone - including the cops - to call out unnecessary brutality when we see it. The good cops could be in a difficult position - how do you rat on your partner? What are the consequences of ratting out on your partner? Or, another cop? Especially, when the bad cop has more experience and been on the force longer than they are. I could put myself in the shoes of the cops who were with Chauvin the day he murdered Floyd. I think one of them was just new - a few days on that job. Pressure from the public will help a lot.
  10. Of course it's being used. What isn't going to be used? Lol. Majority of Canadians are socialist-leaning or downright socialist! That's where we're headed if not already on its doorsteps as we speak. Governments are cowed by protests! But having said that, we should call out unnecessary brutality from the cops! Unnecessary brutality is feeding to the fires that's already raging, and it seems to legitimize and justifies the mayhem..........among other things! Lol, you can't expect people to be on the side of law enforcers when they see cops behaving like thugs! Some rotten apples have to be weeded out.
  11. Anybody playing this? It's being given for free. What's the catch?
  12. Lol, damaging to its reputation, my foot! That's funny! Everyone knows the reputation of the CBC! What CBC is to Liberals is CNN to Democrats! It's a freakin Liberal propaganda mouthpiece - funded by taxpayers!
  13. I was just curious. What it was all about doesn't really matter.
  14. My white cat came home with a black face!

Does that make him a racist.....or.....did he just come out  of the closet as a Trudeau fan?

I'm really full of angst here.....

    1. BubberMiley

      BubberMiley

You let your cat roam freely? How inconsiderate. I'm glad you don't live near me.

No, he escaped!  He rolled and burrowed his face in dry mud!

  15. Is there any transgender female of color available?
  16. What do they mean about Trump's walk down the ramp?  What's wrong with it?

  17. Some people want to serve, to uphold the law. Some people want to be cops for the power of that uniform. And sometimes, being on the job too long can corrupt a cop. Man, dealing with what they deal with every day, has got to have a toll for them at some point. I suppose, they really ought to screen the applicants, and maybe do some psychological evaluations every 3 years or so. Like, maybe - after 5 years on the streets - give them a "time-out," and have them do administrative duties, or refresher courses.
  18. I'm not in any way suggesting this was an unlawful stop. And, I'm not saying the chief was right in his defiant stance - lol, that karate stance was even laughable! I'm saying........................... the brutality by the second cop was unnecessary.
  19. It wasn't an actual resistance. They made the few steps towards the same direction. Perhaps, being the chief that he is - Allan didn't want to be held like a criminal - people were watching - but he seemed to have calmed down and willing to cooperate, and the first cop seemed to understand that - there was no visible combative response from the first cop regarding that statement "don't f***ing grab me!" He seemed to be handling the situation cool-headedly, and quite well. There was no need for the second cop to slam into him. All he had to do was be there to assist should there be any problem. It was the second cop that escalated it. We have to call out unnecessary brutality when we see it! It's for everyone's benefit - including the cops! With so much power in their hands, some can easily get carried away. Btw, how old was that incident?
  20. If the chief was intoxicated - the first cop was most likely taking that into a great deal of consideration thus we see his patience with Allan.
  21. I watched the video again. I'll have to agree with Eyeball. Timer: 6:55 The first cop did have things under control. No matter what other scenarios preceded that - the first cop got this chief under control. He had the chief's arm, and the chief was not really resisting - they were walking together - when the second cop came running and slammed into the chief. There was no need for the second cop to react in that violent way. The very presence of the second cop would establish that control even more. All he had to do was be there, to see to it that there wouldn't be any problems, and be ready to assist as necessary.
  22. If cops get cold feet responding to 911 calls - can we blame them? I've just been to another site (American site), and someone was talking about cops in 3 countries refusing to respond to calls (he was among the callers) , and instead the callers were told by the cops they (the callers), have the right to defend themselves. I don't know how true exactly that is....but at this current clime, it's not far-fetched to assume that there could be some truth to it. I don't know what happened to the last MiqMaq shooting they're talking about yesterday - and coincidentally, another black shooting in Atlanta. But, this is having quite an impact on law enforcement, and the decisions that will be made by anxious elected leaders surrounding that.
  23. Yeah, the video was edited at CBC too. Good thing I saw this longer version.
  24. Hang on to those books! They'll become rare items. IF, they don't become illegal!
