    You are unsure of its meaning?

    Did you look up the definition in the act?

    Here,  I saved you 30 seconds:

    https://www.leg.bc.ca/parliamentary-business/legislation-debates-proceedings/42nd-parliament/5th-session/bills/first-reading/gov12-1

    "disease, injury or illness" includes the following:

    (a) physical or mental injury or illness;

    (b) problematic product use;

    (c) addiction;

    (d) general deterioration of health;

    (e) the risk of disease, injury or illness;

    So - a lot of products cause harm.

    Is the gov going to sue them all...........or, it'll just cherry-pick and discriminate?

    I see the huge potential for corruption!

    Oh yes, and the people that make guns have no responsibility for their use either.

    Sugar is addictive!

    GAMBLING, is addictive!  It causes harm not only to the addicted person, but to the whole family!

    They gotta sue everyone!  From makers of processed food to medicines that have side-effects!

    Another point is, who's gonna decide the company that's going to get sued?

    Do you smell the shadow of another means for   CORRUPTION looming in the horizon?

    Pay-off from companies for the government to ignore them?

  3. I don't think anything can be done with online.  It's only going to get worse with AI.

    That's our new reality!

    The best way is to limit your exposure to it.  Parents have control of their children (with these devices).....unless parents get in on the act of actively controlling them, children will be exposed to all sorts of harm.  And add online protection (identifying and dealing with scams, bullies, predators, do's and don'ts,  etc),   to the curriculum (which will have to be updated as technology advances).

    I'm for banning cell phones or tablets inside classrooms.  Only the teacher will have an active cellphone, in case of red alerts for active shooters etc.,

    When you're online - every person for himself!  We can't help everyone.

    Not only that.

    If this by-election victory in Toronto says anything -

    the working class - the ones represented by unions - seems to be going to Poilievre!

    Yes, I already read it.

    You strike me as a very self-entitled and pushy person, and I don't care if something makes you feel uncomfortable, frankly. Your arguments are all about yourself and your way of looking at things, which is not good politics. Sorry. You see rights issues in the same way as your right to set the temperature on your car air conditioning. No regard for others in your arguments.

    To add, you are also one of those people who never understood Christianity and who was taught it incorrectly.

    There's really nothing more for me to say about you and this regard.

    Hahahahaha 😁

  6. Liberals face political oblivion with Trudeau at the helm

    Abacus has the two parties statistically tied in the historically Liberal bastion of Quebec, with the Bloc Québécois at 34 per cent, the Conservatives at 26 and the Liberals at 25.

    Provincial sample sizes are small, with a greater margin of error than the overall national count. That’s why a Léger poll released last week is so important. An online sampling of 1,032 Quebec voters released earlier this month showed the Bloc Québécois at 29 per cent, the Liberals at 28 per cent and the Conservatives at 24 per cent.

    That’s two polls showing the Conservatives competitive with the Liberals in Quebec. What does that mean?

    It means that if an election were held tomorrow, the Liberals would lose most of their 24 seats in Atlantic Canada and at least some of their 34 seats in Quebec.

  7. I can't ignore the irony!

    See the can of worms feminists had opened.........when they supported ILGA in their feminist movement?

    Lol - who would've thought this same group  would now lead to attempt to rob FEMALES of their own identity!

    WOMEN...........................are you getting this?

    Womanhood, is being erased!

    You're now being called, a................."BIRTHING PERSON!"

    Talk about degrading!   SHAME!

    NOW, is the time for a....................... REAL FEMINIST Movement!

    Why?

    What difference would a picture make?  Even if you line up a gallery of them!  😁

    There's something to what you say, but it can be worked out reasonably.  Politicians are making trans people into devils to scare folks not familiar with things, and therefore to get votes.  Not good for the community.

    This is a biological woman.  Guess what? I would try to trust this person to do the right thing in terms of bathroom selection rather than following a law that was passed to get votes. You up over

    webtrystan.jpg

    No - it's not that politicians are making out trans to be devils!

    It's that...........................politicians like Trudeau.......................are INSENSITIVE to WOMEN!

    What part of "women do not feel comfortable or safe" with transgender  being in the same washroom with them," is hard to get?

    Whether the trans is a pervert or not, is not the issue!

    The issue is how women feel!

    LOL - you guys can't stare or even whistle at a woman because of how it makes her feel - right?

    And yet, Trudeau is forcing women to get over this?

    What a joke!

  10. Poll reveals Canadian trans policies that are out of step with public opinion

    As duelling protests took place in Canadian cities over the issue of gender ideology in schools, a new survey from the Angus Reid Institute revealed that most Canadians support a middle ground: They favour equality and accommodation for trans people, but generally don’t believe men can self-identify as women.

    Of respondents, just 35 per cent agreed with the sentiment — now enshrined via a latticework of federal and provincial laws — that “anyone who wishes can identify as a woman.” About the same number (34 per cent) sided with the notion that women are only those “who were born with female genitalia.”

    The Angus Reid survey, which was released Sept. 19, also found a clear majority of Canadians opposed to the adoption of “gender neutral” terminology, particularly when it came to issues such as menstruation or childbirth. For instance, it is now standard for Canadian public health agencies to use the term “pregnant people” instead of “pregnant women.” Select health agencies have also adopted the term “chestfeeding” as a synonym for “breastfeeding.”

    Angus Reid found that 67 per cent of respondents objected to this trend, agreeing with the statement that it “devalues the female identity in society.”

    As far back as 2016, Angus Reid found more than 80 per cent of Canadians supporting the addition of gender identity to the country’s anti-discrimination laws, but respondents were more skeptical of a push to have transgender people use washrooms and change rooms that accorded with their gender identity, rather than their biological sex.

    Trudeau is a master at spinning. He's just given Trudeau ammo for attack ads, but I think so many Canadians are struggling so bad, that the out of touch Trudeau may put off some of his own by concentrating too hard on this.

    I think it's a smart move for Poilievre to answer the question pointblank.

    Trudeau may try to spin it.......but it's a losing move if Poilievre had hedged away from answering.

    Previous Conservative leaders had done that - trying to squirm out from answering controversial questions  - and they get plagued by pro-Trudeau journalists!

    By giving a definitive answer - Poilievre has put the matter to rest.

    Furthermore.....

    Poilievre shows he's a true leader.  He is DECISIVE.

  12. Trudeau is fighting for LGBTQ.  Trudeau is fighting for Transgendered people.

    Trudeau's showing, NATURALLY-BORN females are simply second-bananas when it comes to rights!

    PIERRE POILIEVRE IS THE CHAMPION FOR WOMEN.

    POILIEVRE IS FIGHTING FOR WOMEN'S RIGHTS!

    REAL WOMEN!

    NATURALLY-BORN FEMALES!

  13. BIOLOGICAL FEMALES, listen!

    Is Trudeau the  so-called "champion" for women?

    Lol - he's so insensitive towards women!

    Here are some of the video comments below:

    Global news cut off the question posed by a Rebel News reporter to which Poilievre is answering in this clip. This same reporter had reported about a 50- year old intact biological male who identifies as a 13-year old girl and thus swims with and change in the same dressing room as these girls in an Ontario swim club. However, this chap who identifies as a 13-year old can drive away in his car no problem. Thus, the question is valid about safe spaces for women and girls.

    Poilievre didn’t go off on the LGBTQ community! He was standing up for women’s rights!! Full stop!

    Trudeau is the biggest emitter of carbon we have. Never shuts up.

    Poilievre is correct about female spaces after all. Females who do Sports would most likely feel most uncomfortable getting dressed in front of males (Trans or natural )while in a female change room. Female Privacy and safety is paramount . But it is obvious that Justin Trudeau does not care.

    JT just doesn't get it. The idea is to protect women's spaces and defend them from biological males trying to gain access to them for whatever weird reason, and as my wife's husband and father of a teenaged girl I am all in favor of that. Framing that as an attack on the lgbtq2slaq minority misses the mark. The question really is, what would JT do to protect those spaces, and so far the answer seems to be "nothing"

    The VAST MAJORITY of Canadians agree with PP’s view - as it reflects our views. This PM is SICK … as are his blind followers. It’s no attack bonehead - it’s protecting our daughters and sisters from opportunistic perverts and deviants.

    Lol - I wouldn't be surprised..........when Trudeau had  gone from being PM..........and moved on out of the spotlight...............we find out in gossip columns............

    ..................that he's got himself...........................

    ..................TRANSGENDERED!
