I just heard this morning that Godess had been murdered. I was told you know the details. This is terrible news. Can you tell me what happened? The last I heard was her former husband had passed away and she was taken time away from the forum.

Floodings are part of having storms - as far as I can remember back when I was a child! If death can come with ANY disaster.......category 1 storms are no different.
What's different though these days is how the media SCARES people! The news on CBC is practically all about climate change!

Lol, when i see an old lady counting out pennies - or, a very slow cashier for that matter - I go to another line. But you're not given any choice now with Canadian Tire.
I do hope that skimmer scam with those check-out debit machines found at Walmart in USA wouldn't come here. What are the chances?

Plus.......they can track you thru them.
Everything is about tracking!
Those added bonus cards like Scene and Optimum - sell your info to businesses who'd know what you buy! They'll have a good profile of what you tend to buy. That says something about you.

People dealt with them in USA by loading up their carts with groceries - and when the cashier won't accept cash - they just left their carts right there. Let the establishment's employees deal with putting them back.

IN 2020, in a taxi cab on the way to an appointment, the cab driver and I started chatting. She mentioned that Trudeau and wife were actually separated. Because I never heard any of the kind, I just thought it's fake news or false rumors. When it was announced the other day that they separated....that conversation with the cabbie came back to me.
