Is the USA a country of Laws? Ass-umption can make an a$$ out of an individual? Be objective ................ not consciously ignorant. Partisan politics is kill'n the country.

Suppose the real question is whether the U.S. is a country of laws? The aggressive actions of Fed immigration agents (Minnesota) and cities around the country have drawn attention to an important truth and that is ICE, CBP (US Border Patrol) agents are routinely going far beyond what the law allows them to do? Their aggressive tactics on the ground are backed up by unprecedented interpretations of their legal authority with these agencies secretly adopting aggressive new policies toward entering homes and making arrests without JUDICIAL warrants? “To all ICE officers: You have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties" / Stephen Miller, White House deputy chief of staff for policy. A country of laws?

........ a minor point, but it was the Catholic political faction of the Weimar republic that allowed the NAZI to be elected to power legitimately and by extension, pass the 'Enabling Act'. One passed the NAZI reneged their support for 'said' party and Germany became authoritarian. Garden variety concentration camps sprung up and the Horst Wessel song went to #1 on the NAZI hit parade.
