  1. There are a whole lot of people you aren't supposed to criticize.
  2. After watching some videos of Kamala, I seriously question her mental faculties. The lady sounds like she is on drugs sometimes. You don't talk like that just because you are ditsy.
  3. Yeah, duh. And since they think he committed a crime and Thomas hasn't admitted to it, that means he is covering it up. Where did you get your legal degree from anyways.... FOS LIES LMAO?
  4. But see if you think he is likely covering up a crime, you don't even need to know what the crime is. You can convict him of multiple felonies. Didn't you know that?
  5. This is hyperbole. People were upset by it. People find it disgusting. No one is making cries of victimhood. They complained. OP is not asking for some kind of compensation. He said he is done with the Olympics. Just exercising his rights. I don't think you'd be defending it if they did something offensive to Islamists.
  6. I think Chrissy1979 is right here overall, though. If I were Trump I wouldn't bring this up. He has lots to attack her on without having to get dirty, and it happened 20 years ago or so. He just has to hammer her on the border, the economy, etc. She has no good answers for that, and she babbles when she is asked about it. Whenever they got dirty on Trump it just made him more popular.
  7. I admitted as much, Chrissy1979. If you think the Early Church would have found this appropriate based on the other morals preached in the New Testament, I think you are lying to yourself. No one said their brother is unfit to celebrate Christ. As I pointed out, many people struggle with all kinds of sins. Some people struggle with porn addiction. You don't break out some porn in Church and say well "Jesus loves me." And furthermore, I don't know if you really believe it, but I really do not believe that they were actually celebrating Christ. I don't think anyone believes that. In fact, if they were it would probably be considered more offensive because that's not very secular behavior at a global event, is it? I think they were trying to be edgy and provocative. They have a legal right to do so, as well. No one here is talking about putting them in jail. The OP simply complained about it and said he was done with the Olympics. He has that right as well. I also don't think they were very edgy or brave at all. Everyone has seen drag queens for years now. They did it and nothing happened other than some complaining, and they made some apologies. No skin off their backs. It's quite easy. Being brave or edgy would be doing something similar but Islam-related at the opening ceremonies for the World Cup in Qatar and then tweeting something about the "gay koran". I suspect they would not be that brave or edgy.
  8. Yes, I do realize that. But there are other morals made clear in the Bible besides the ten commandments. For instance, rape is wrong. But it is not mentioned in the ten commandents. Now, I think if you read the New Testament and the teachings of those who were closest to Jesus you would come away with the idea that this is wrong. It's not explicitly mentioned, though, in the New Testament. The point is people try to ascribe to Jesus all kinds of liberal beliefs because it suits them. It's clear the people who knew Him would not have tolerated these beliefs. The early church would not have tolerated it. But 2000 years later, you think you know better. In the end, Chrissy1979, we may have to agree to disagree. I did not want to weigh in on this subject. I don't care about the Olympics, and I don't care much for the fanfare around it. But no one is stopping them from doing it. The OP simply said he didn't like it and he was done with the Olympics. A lot of people are saying that.
  9. No one is perfect. So all kinds of sinners are welcome. If someone was an adulterer it would not disqualify them from depicting the Last Supper. You are supposed to turn away from sins. And even people who do struggle sometimes. But if they showed up to the last supper with a babe on each arm it would be offensive. It would show that they have no regard for Jesus at all and that they are not penitent in the least. Alcohol is not condemned in the Bible, but being a drunkard is. Now are you allowed to go to church if you have ever drank? Of course. Are you allowed to go to church if you've given up and still struggle sometimes? Of course. Is it acceptable to go to church, crack open a bottle of Jim Beam, light up a smoke and laugh about it?
  10. Yes, and he was a Jew. He believed in the same moral laws they did. In fact, he was even stricter about them. When it came to adultery, for instance, he said that it included merely looking at another woman with lust. He was not a sexual liberal. He did challenge Pharisees and others for placing more importance upon laws concerning ritual cleanliness than moral laws. He may have been very merciful to people who broke those laws, but mercy is not an excuse to sin, nor does it abolish the idea of sin. If you read the Old and New Testament, there is no doubt about what Jesus followers believed. The disciples who established the early Church, the same ones who traveled with Him and learned from him, make the morality Christians ought to have clear in the epistles. I am sure they understood more than you. You would not even know about Him were it not for them. You are creating your own revisionist Christ over 2000 years later. Yes, he had love for everyone. Yes, he had mercy on sinners. That does not mean he condoned sin.
  11. She admitted as much. She doesn't admit to them mocking Christ, however, I am sure she knows the more orthodox opinions of Christians, and that this would be offensive to Christians as a group. It's her version of Christianity that matters.
  12. I think he is just making a light-hearted post. On that note, I am going fire another question. What kind of music do you like? Do you play any instruments? That's two questions. I can't math.
  13. She is awesome with Venn diagrams. I can just see her sitting down with world leaders, pulling out a good old Venn diagram and solving the world's conflicts.
  14. Here is an example of a Democrat not participating in the insanity. I don't know whether Rep. Jared Golden is right that Trump will win, but his comments a few weeks ago are pretty level-headed. https://wjla.com/news/nation-world/maine-dem-predicts-trump-will-win-election-democracy-will-be-just-fine-rep-jared-golden-d-maine-austin-theriault-donald-trump-president-joe-biden-2024-presidential-election-politics-democrat-republican
  15. I think Trump will round up 1000s of people like Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats, Rachel Maddow and other media talking heads, antifa members, etc. Then he will have them step forward one by one. Guards will hold them down on the ground. Then, Trump will grab their hands and make themselves slap their own faces and say something like, "Why you hittin' yourself, Adam Schiff? Why you hittin' yourself?" This will all be televised live on Trump State TV, the only channel Americans will be allowed to watch from now on.
  16. I agree. This is not a very good tactic. I doubt Trump would use it, though.
  17. 5 “A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, ufor whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God. https://biblia.com/bible/esv/deuteronomy/22/5 It's not me they are mocking.
  18. The standard of lawfare being used against Trump could just as easily be applied to Democrats and the Rino establishment. The same people saying Trump is not above the law would be crying "political prosecution" if it happened to people on their side. The fact that Trump ended up with 34 felonies over a hush money payment is a talking point for them. But it's also proof of political prosecution for reasonable people.
  19. I did not really want to weigh into this debate, because I really don't enjoy things like the Olympic opening anyways. But I really do not think they were merely "representing" the last supper. I think it was done to mock it. I think it was deliberately done to be provocative. I can't read their minds, however. But that seems the most likely explanation for me. Yes, Christ taught love. Christ taught forgiveness. But the New Testament makes it clear that Christ's grace is not permission or justification of sin. For instance, there is the story of the adulteress who was about to be stoned. Jesus pointed out to the men who wanted to stone her that they were sinners, too. But then he also tells the woman to sin no more. The New Testament is pretty clear about what constitutes sexual immorality. That does not make it unforgivable. God can forgive anything. The most vile criminal could be worthy to participate in the last supper if he is aware of what he is. But, in my opinion, these people are showing a complete disregard for the last supper. If they wanted to respect the last supper they would not be in drag. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1 Corinthians 6&version=NIV 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
  20. I gave you the context which explains it. You just ignored it. Even if you ignore the context, "don't have to" is vastly different from "won't be able to". He doesn't say "one wouldn't vote again". He said to a group of people who often do not like to vote that they have to do it this time and they they "won't have to." myata, I know you don't like using logic, but could you try just this one time. Just this once. You won't have to do it again.
  21. You all have to get on board with CouchPotatoism. It's got all the answers.
  22. I think if you really want to get to know Kamala Harris, I think it's important to get to know some of the people around her and see what they have to say. Her "Holistic Thought Advisor" offers some valuable insight here. The work they are doing together is truly revolutionary.
