Are Republicans For or Against IVF?
gatomontes99 replied to Matthew's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
What does that even mean? You need to remember, I don't live in your fantasy world. I stick to reality. So, if you have some fantasy world assumptions, I don't know what they are. They are your assumptions and yours alone. -

You do know how stupid this sounds, don't you? Did you actually think this ridiculous straw-man would somehow be inciteful? -
Well, to be more accurate, she has a problem with her two I's: Illegal immigration and Inflation. As the border czar, she did precious little to stem the tide of illegal immigration. She even went as far as proposing illegal immigrants get free health care. Under her watch, immigrants got more money for food than our vets. They got better health care. They got better living conditions. They got benefits that far exceeded what Americans got. She owned that problem and she can't get away from that. Inflation is her problem, as well. She was the deciding vote on the Inflation reduction act. That act raised Inflation by increasing government spending and subsidizing goods and services. The Inflation reduction act is irrevocably her problem. If she had a solution, she should have put it forth by now. After all, in her own words, she was always the last person in the room on major decisions. She has a two I's problem that can't be solved.

The sperm is inserted, that doesn't guarantee fertilization. -

Total fallacy. First, they may not be fertilized. Even though the seman is inserted, that doesn't mean it is going to develop. Second, those that arent going to develop are tossed and the "possibly" viable are then inserted back into the woman. Third, there is no way to know what is and isn't viable in a natural pregnancy. Like Schrödinger's cat, they can be thought of as both alive and dead. Conservatives chose life because being wrong about it being alive us meaningless but being wrong about it being dead is catastrophic. -

You know nothing about IVF if you think the discarded fertilized eggs had a chance. -

If you bought a car and it turns out the previous owner used it to transport the bodies of the victims he murdered, does that make you an accomplice? -
I have to wonder if the guy was trying to set her up to say something even more stupid than normal.

The NYTs has no credibility because they reported something negative that harms his fantasy. -

There are no sources that are acceptable that report factual information, in his view. -

Trump actually said it would be 3000 years before an area hit by a nuke could recover. -
“[T]he government will introduce the evidence described above, including that [Hunter Biden] and Business Associate 1 received compensation from a foreign principal who was attempting to influence U.S. policy and public opinion and cause the United States to investigate the Romanian investigation of G.P in Romania,” Mr. Weiss wrote.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/jd-vance-drag-photo/ "It's from a group chat of Vance's fellow classmates and is from a friend of a friend," Whitfill told American news website The Daily Beast. "I believe it was grabbed from Facebook and was taken at a Halloween party." Oh look, it was a Halloween costume. Go figure.

Kamala's Massive Miscalculation
gatomontes99 replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Project much? Is a poll that says 90% of people believe the world is round an appeal to popularity fallacy? No. Why? Because it is true. The truth is that our country is heading down the wrong track. Couldn't counter the thesis so you decided to resort to personal attacks? -

You are in the super minority in that opinion. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/state-of-the-union/direction-of-country If the country was doing well, Kamala wouldn't be running from her border policies, fracking policies, and copying Trump's no tax on tips. -
Kamala's Massive Miscalculation
gatomontes99 replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Of course we are worried she will win. This country can't handle 4 more years of these policies. Everyone knows that, including Kamala. That's why she's running as Donald Trump. All of a sudden she wants fracking, no tax on tips and a secure border when she spent the last decade plus railing against fracking, she was the deciding vote to track down tips and tax them and was the border czar that opened the doors and welcomed everyone in.
