Trump will get the war over faster. That is almost a certainty. He will either let Israel "finish the job," or he will make a deal with Egypt or another Arab country to "resettle" all the Palestinians outside of the Occupied Territories, and turn Gaza into beachfront resorts for wealthy Jews and Americans. It's not exactly what the Dearborn residents wanted, but Trump will live up to his promise, and end the war faster.

Ideally, Biden would cause an insurrection, and save the country from Trump and Musk. However, Democrats are losers, so they accept the election results. It's almost like the did not want to win the 2024 election, as Harris was as poor of a choice for President as Hilary Clinton in 2016. -
The way the Lions have been playing, I can't honestly see anyone beating them for the remainder of the year. Will this be the year that Detroit finally makes it to the Super Bowl? Other teams to watch out for: Chiefs (9-1) Bills (9-2) Steelers (8-2) Eagles (8-2) Vikings (8-2) Packers (7-3) Chargers (7-3)

Alex Ovechkin, who at 6'5/225, with no significant injuries during his entire pro career, was injured at the worst possible time. OV, or "The Great 8" as he is affectionately known, was on an absolute tear this season, leading the league in goals, with 15 in 19 games. At 39, and only 27 goals away from Gretzky's goal record of 894, it appeared like Ovi would easily shatter the record by March, perhaps even hitting 900 by the end of the season. Now all that is in doubt, as he is expected to miss at least a month with a leg injury suffered against Utah. Let's hope they Ovi makes a full recovery by Christmas.

Grey Cup 2024: Winnipeg vs Toronto

This was definitely the hardest pill to swallow, in my entire life as a Bombers fan. The back-to-back losses against Toronto and Montreal at the very least were very close, against teams that would finish with the best record in the CFL the following year. This year, we were going against a team with an inferior record, and a team that had lost arguably the best QB in the CFL the prior week. Our special teams was our Achilles heel all year, and that fumble on the punt return, combined with that penalty negated the blacked punt, sank us. Kudos to backup QB Arbuckle, who definitely played the game of his life. As a born and raised Winnipegger, this is going to sting for years. -
There is virtually zero chance Russia deploys nuclear weapons at any point in time, no matter how bad things get for Putin. The Russian bark, as we have witnessed in Ukraine, is always louder than it's bite. Russia has known since the 1950s that deploying nuclear weapons against any country would result in the complete annihilation of Russia, as we know it. The closest the World came to nuclear war, was in 1962, during the Cuban missile crisis, and it was the Russians who backed down, against the United States.

What is a Proxy War?

There was no agreement reached between the Soviet Union and Britain/France. There were preliminary discussions of a Soviet-British/French pact, but it was never implemented, due to Polish opposition to the Soviets marching into Polish territory, as you pointed out. Before Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, German foreign minister Joachim von Ribbentrop met with Soviet foreign minister Vyacheslav Molotov, in a secret meeting, to form the The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, an agreement that was designed to split Poland in half, between Germany and the Soviet Union, where both countries agreed to respect each others sphere of influence. Of course, Hitler and the Germans had absolutely no intention of honouring the non-aggression pact. The Pact was meant to buy Hitler and the Nazis time to prepare for Operation Barbarossa, the planned conquest of Russia, for the purpose of Lebensraum, or "living space" for ethnic Germans. The invasion was carried out, in the early morning hours of June 22, 1941. -
After Trump's cabinet picks, I'm actually starting to see some positive outcomes, if a World War were to break out. First off, nobody is foolish enough to use nuclear weapons. It would have happened in the 50s, and it certainly would have happened within 6 months of Russia invading Ukraine, only to get their asses handed to them. Hard times make hard men. Soft times make soft men. Unfortunately for Americans, a bunch of soft men are ruling the country. By definition, "soft men" show all the signs of moral turpitude (con men, thieves, sexual perverts, disloyal, etc).

Dearborn Residents Show Remorse After Trump Win: 'He's Playing Us' In the wake of Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 election, residents of Dearborn, Michigan, are voicing their regret and frustration, with many expressing feelings of being misled. Dearborn is home to one of the largest concentrations of Arab Americans in the nation, with nearly half of its 110,000 residents being of Arab descent. The city has traditionally been a Democratic stronghold, but this year that all changed. Trump broke the GOP losing streak in the city, winning 47 percent of the vote to Kamala Harris' 28 percent, according to unofficial results from the city clerk, reported by NBC. That means Harris received less than half of the Dearborn voters Joe Biden received in 2020. Meanwhile, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, who chose a Muslim American running mate and put Israel's war with Hamas at the center of her campaign, won 22 percent of the vote, according to a projection from NBC. After the shocking election result, Arab American voters are reeling. But they are also frustrated by the Democrats' unwavering support for the Israelis in the latest war between Israel and Hamas. Newsweek has contacted the Trump transition team and the Harris campaign for comment via email. "All she had to do was stop the war in Lebanon and Gaza and she would receive everyone's votes here," Dearborn Councilmember Mustapha Hammoud told The Associated Press. "When I think of Democrats, I don't think of people like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris," Layla Elabed, a leader in Dearborn's anti-war movement and the sister of Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, told Slate. "You can't claim to represent the values of your base and then ignore them. You're not going to win—and that's exactly what happened." In an interview with Politico, Michael Sareini, Dearborn city council president, added that many Arab American residents in Dearborn "feel like they've been redeemed." "They wanted to send a message and they did. This stance on endless wars and killing of innocent women and children has got to end," he said. Voting for a President, who promised a Muslim travel ban in 2016, and supports Israel to the point of "finishing the job" against the Palestinians? nobody is going to ever accuse Arab voters of being the most intelligent people lol.

Comparing Republicans to Nazis

Actually, it is just Trump. I don't recall anyone calling Mitt Romney, John McCain, or Bob Dole a "Nazi". Very few people compared George W Bush to one. Trump is different than any leader of a major political party in America, in the past 50 years. He definitely has autocratic tendencies similar to Hitler, Mussolini, and most Third World dictators. -

You mean that he realised that his career would benefit to speak positively about Trump, one he won the Republican nomination in 2016. Coincidentally, many of Hitler's critics, had a change of heart, once he became Chancellor of Germany. It's self-preservation. -

Elon Musk’s refusal to provide Starlink support for Ukraine attack in Crimea raises questions for Pentagon Economy Sep 11, 2023 9:05 PM EST NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. (AP) — SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s refusal to allow Ukraine to use Starlink internet services to launch a surprise attack on Russian forces in Crimea last September has raised questions as to whether the U.S. military needs to be more explicit in future contracts that services or products it purchases could be used in war, Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said Monday. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/economy/elon-musks-refusal-to-provide-starlink-support-for-ukraine-attack-in-crimea-raises-questions-for-pentagon --- Wake up and smell the coffee, User.
