  1. I agree, and have implemented your idea: 2024 Forum Member of the Year Runoff
  2. Since there has been a tie between @Michael Hardner and @CdnFox, this will be the final runoff.
  3. Many historians think Trump is a threat to democracy. Some do not. While Trump is not Hitler, he is in the same league as Hitler. An autocratic dictator, who wants to destroy his enemies, and has no plans to uphold the democratic institutions that have made America great. There is tons of evidence. Just look at Trump's new cabinet, and read about Project 2025. Nobody will be able to stop Trump from doing what he wants, including either cancelling elections, delaying them, or rigging the elections so he will win. This is typical of autocratic leaders. Trump will listen to Putin on how to achieve these goals, as he idolises him, and wants to emulate his style.
  4. Live Band at the Black Swan Tavern Do they have any drink or food specials?
  5. Never said Trump was as bad as Hitler. The question was: "Is trump Hitler and an existential threat to democracy?" I believe Trump is an existential threat to democracy. I misread the question, since Trump is obviously different than Hitler. However, he is definitely going to end US democracy as we know it. Yikes.

  7. Hitler's entire long term goal was the conquer the entire Soviet Union. The problem is that Poland was in the way, so they had to take care of the Poles first. The main beef Hitler had with Poland, is that the 1919 Treaty of Versailles, created Poland, using some Prussian territory belonging to Germany. Hitler wanted to reclaim that territory, and the Poles obviously refused to relinquish it. The Germans also knew that they needed to import copious amounts of raw materials from the Soviet Union, in order to be successful at their goal of eventually conquering the country. Looking back in retrospect, it's almost incredible that Stalin would make any type of deal with Hitler, if we consider this was a guy who had most of his major general and others killed, due to his paranoia.
  8. The problem is that Stalin was playing both sides. He was negotiating with the British, and secretly negotiating with Germany, as he did not trust either. He found the German offer more pragmatic I guess, considering Hitler was hell bent on going to war with an Eastern European country... FOS has proven to be a legitimate neo-Nazi, who know absolutely nothing about history or politics.
  9. User always lies...It's his M.O. on this forum.
  10. Democracy is already dead in America. Trump killed Democracy, and the day the establishment decided he did not deserve jail time for attempting insurrection on January 6, 2001. The Democrats have 2 months to try to convince the military and the people to rise up, and take out Trump and his cronies. 23 leading economists say that Project 2025 will lead to the worst recession in American history, but also completely do away with all civil liberties. Americans have to act now. If one could go back in time to 1933, if we were in Europe, and had the chance, how many people would not jump at the chance to take out the Nazi Party? The problem with that period of time, is that good people did not act, and let bullies and evil men control a powerful country, We are seeing history repeat itself. Americans have to rise up now, or else the US and Canada (by exporting over 75% of our goods to America), will be screwed for years. People are going to realise by the end of 2025 just how destructive Trump will be on America, now that he has total control of pretty much everything. The time to act is now. Jail him before he is sworn in.
  11. Being the World's richest man, he could have done a lot of good for the World (i.e help the poor and disadvantaged). Billionaires like Bill Gates and George Soros have been tremendous philanthropists. However, like many of his South African Apartheid heroes, Musk is a horrible, greedy man, who wants to control the World.
  12. This is a very tight race, with @Michael Hardner and @CdnFox both tied at 4 votes each. The voting ends in the first week of December, so for those who have yet to vote, you have plenty of time.
  13. I have never met Elon Musk, so i do not have first hand experience, but I believe @impartialobserver, considering most people seem to have negative interactions with Musk.
  14. ...to the party who will help exterminate our people!" Arab Americans voting for Trump in 2024, is somewhat like Jews voting for Hitler in 1938. We both know how it will end.
  15. I believe him. Most people who come in contact with Musk, say he is a jerk. This is going way back to his school days in South Africa, his college days in Canada, and most notably, his days in the Bay Area.
  16. Not sure what everyone else thinks, but those injuries do not seem consistent with a fall. Is Jay Leno in trouble with the mafia? If one were to really think about it, Jay Leno did screw over a lot of people during his career. First Johnny Carson, then David Letterman, and later Conan O'Brien. Perhaps Leno did fall. Then again, he could have been attacked after screwing a business partner over.
  17. Once I saw who was going to be in Trump's cabinet, I was horrified. I think it is time to use military force, if necessary, to keep Trump out of the White House. Even if it leads to civil war.
  18. Yes, Trump went on about the 2016 election being stolen from him, considering he was certain he was going to lose the election. When he won, it was "fair and square." Four years later, when Trump legitimately lost the election, he not only claimed *without evidence), the election was rigged, but tried to cause an insurrection in January, shortly before Biden was sworn in as President. This was proven false. If you have concrete evidence of electoral fraud, please present it. Where was Trump not on the ballot? Prove it.
  19. I agree in regards to the Palestinians, but Israel never tried to give the West Bank away. It's too significant to religious Jews. The Jews care too much about Judea and Samaria to ever relinquish it.
  20. Depends on the woman. However a study was conducted roughly 20 years ago, regarding height and the overall appeal of a man. They found that a man 5'6 would have to make 9 TIMES the amount of a man that is 6'5, to become more appealing, to the average woman. Unfortunately, I could not find that particular story, but I did manage to find this:
  21. It's well known that Trump wanted to do this to Hilary Clinton in 2016, before he became President.
