Comparing Republicans to Nazis

...and let's ignore the 23 Nobel prize winning economists, who in unison, claim that this will tank the American economy, and lead to possibly the worst recession in US history. (for the record, by proxy, it will also lead to Canada's worst recession) -

The sad thing about some of these people, is they fail to understand that many Government services are ESSENTIAL. Like seriously, what is gutting the civil service going to accomplish, other than hurting the most vulnerable members of society, the elderly, and others, while being 10x more expensive in the long run. One would think Elon Musk's venture into politics (he took over Twitter solely to make it a right wing echo chamber), where he destroyed the platform, and made it lost billions, would be a clear indication, of what is in store for America when he is at the helm. The post office costs money? Let's gut it. OSHA costs money? Let's roll the clock back to 1833, when workers were getting killed, and losing limbs, while factories suffered zero consequences. Health care? Let's scrap it. Let poor people die. Social security? Gut it. Once people are over 65, they are worthless. Education? who needs it? We still have a better system than Zimbabwe, so until they surpass us, it's not an issue! Welfare? Why provide anything to the poor? In spite of evidence that people who have trouble being employable are almost exclusively physically or mentally ill, let's do away with them.. Survival of the fittest! It will increase crime exponentially, but hey, it saves billionaires from paying higher taxes! Employment Insurance for people laid off? Tough luck.... Vaccinations? Who needs em? Let's bring back Polio, Measles, and Smallpox! Public Safety? Let's just do away with civil liberties Justice? Let's derail the constitution, so that we can jail our opponents. That's the bottom line. -

Until you answer my questions truthfully, I will double down. I do not believe you. The majority of people with personal, and real life experiences with the Nazis are dead. Hell, George Soros was 13 YEARS OLD in 1944, when him and his father were nearly deported to Auschwitz. Soros is 94 today. -

h yes....FOX News. The same network that ran with Tucker Carlson for years, who has definitely proven to have ties to Russian oligarchs. The same network that was forced to payout the largest civil settlement in United States history (nearly one billion) to Dominion Voting Systems, for slandering their company (which happens to be Canadian, BTW). The way you are peddling this BS abiout some of the most sketchy members of Trump's cabinet- RFK Jr, in particular, has literally been disowned by the Kennedy Family, and denounced by them at every opportunity, since he is so unlike his father. RFK Jr is a lifelong drug addict, who has batshit crazy ideas about disproved falsehoods in regards to vaccines. It's no wonder, you are going to the ends of the Earth to defend a pedophile. -

That tends to happen, when Putin is pulling on Trump's puppet strings. I can see why you like Scott Ritter, if you are a fan of Gabbard and RFK Jr. -

This is great news for Pete. Trump respects men who violate women, and the more women who come forward regarding Pete's predatory behaviour, the better. Maybe him and Trump could exchange "war stories" in regards to how many women they have assaulted. -

To sum it up: 1. Your mother in law is probably a liar. 2. You are over the age of 70. 3. Which village? -
Ritter thought they were underage, and wanted to have sexual relations with them. Police has been doing this for decades. Have you never seen the show "To Catch a Predator?" To get caught once trying to solicit sex from an underage girl is bad enough, but twice? That is incredible, and Ritter is definitely a danger to society. If he did not ahve such a high ranking position, he probably would ahve been looking at at least 10 years in prison. The fact that he was unremorseful, makes one wonder why he never served his full sentence.

What is a Proxy War?

No matter what happened on the Eastern Front, it's pretty much a given, that the war had already turned against the Axis powers. The turning point of WW2, is widely considered Stalingrad on the Eastern Front, and Pearl Harbour in the Pacific Theatre. The Americans won the vast majority of battles with Japan for the next three years, until they literally had full control of the Pacific, so even if Germany had somehow defeated the Soviets, there would ahve been little they could ahve done to help Japan. Additionally, Hitler's racial policies, helping Japan defeat America was not an objective that they considered paramount. Hitler wanted to finish off the Jews, enslave the Slavic people and others, then clear the area for ethnic Germans to inhabit. The British and Americans would have eventually attempted to invade mainland Europe, but this would ahve been delayed if the Russians lost. Eventually, the allies would ahve prevailed, if only due to the vast superiority of the American army. Or...they could have done nothing, and dropped the nukes on japan, and threatened Hitler that Germany was "next." That would have likely caused at the very least, the Germans to stop their military operations, and relinquish all of Western Europe, and possibly much of Eastern Europe, as the Germans lacked the resources to develop a nuclear arsenal. USA could have conducted bombing raids from Britain, and nuked Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden, or Munich. The Germans would ahve surrendered unconditionally after a populated German city was hit by a nuke, in short order. If we really look at it, nuclear warheads did more for peace, than any other weapon in human history. -

Certainly not a joke to Canada, Europe, and pretty much every First World country. Just ask the children of Europeans, who heard of what their parents went through in the 1930s/40s with the rise of autocratic leaders. I'm sure they could give you an opinion on the similarities between Trump and the MAGA movement, and legitimate fascist countires like Germany, Spain, and Italy. -
I voted for Michael this time. I believe he stands for the right things. Michael believes in affordable health care for all, a fair and liveable working wage for all North Americans, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, abortion rights and women's rights in general, rights of minorities, and people of different ethnic backgrounds. If I am mistaken, @Michael Hardner, please let me know. @CdnFox supports Trump. I have voted accordingly.

A vote for Trump, essentially was a vote to eradicate American democracy, as we know it. We should bookmark this thread, and visit it again in the fall of 2026. That is when our democratic institutions will be failing, to the point that America will cease to be a democracy. They certainly do have this power. Trump has already taken several steps outside the law. he is a convicted felon, who tried to overthrow democratic election results in January of 2021. He was not jailed or prevented from running again. It can be argued that the fact that Trump is not even in jail, should be a sign that the safeguards of democracy are broken. Complete rubbish. I really doubt that, considering Trump has been the one to attempt to cheat at elections, or at the very least, prevent voters in predominantly Democratic areas from voting. Hopefully there will, but I am not holding my breath. Democracy is in great danger.
