i have a feeling this has something to do with housing. Canada has a far higher homeless population that the US, and as we have seen with the meth epidemic, property crimes had risen. I'm not sure what to make of the drastic increase in violent crimes, as the homicide rate in Canada is still far lower than in America.

Personally I would have went with Pete Buttigieg. I am aware that he is gay, and one can say if American would accept a gay President. However, he never came across as weak, and could school anyone in a debate. I think America would have forgot about it after he schooled Trump in a debate. Kamala's problem was that she had alcohol issues, and looked soft and weak to the Americans public, and that to the American public, was more important than being a con man.

There was a time when Canada was respected by the World, for our strong military, and our fighting spirit. While our spirit has never diminished, beginning with the elder Trudeau in 1968, our military has been neglect for well over 50 years. At one point when we entered WW2, the Germans were terrified of the Canadian and Australian regiments, as they nicknamed up the "British SS." How did we fall so far? We need to increase our defence spending, and get to the 2% GDP. Canadians are some of the strongest people I know. Why are we neglecting our military?

Better than Kamala? I would say that most candidates could have done better. Same thing with Hilary. I mean when Pew Research pools reveal that Hilary was the most unpopular first lady in the history of the White House, it should have been a hint not to run with her. In 2016, Trump did not win, as much Hilary lost. The election was hers to lose, and she did. With Kamala, it would have been a miracle if she won. The election was pretty much the American people either choosing or rejecting Trump. Biden should ahve rode with a better vice president. Even now, her inner circle advisers are proving that not only Kamala was the wrong candidate to go with, but how clueless the Democrats are, when it comes to competing in elections.
