  1. The point is that this conflict will continue in perpetuity as long as there is one piece of land and two groups who BELIEVE that they are the rightful owners...
  2. I am not going to spoon feed it to someone who admits to being too lazy to read a few messages. You could simply read them.. and then not be having this thoroughly pointless exchange. You can't possibly be so braindead as to think that you are going to change my ways... or maybe you are?
  3. What more needs to be said? First, you could read the entire exchange and not cherry pick it? A more genuine person would do the latter. If I have not read enough to comment.. I generally do not do so. I know.. you are not ol that ilk.
  4. Israel has a right to exist and therefore to defend themselves. Now, repeat that so you do not like quite so stupid next time. However, they have a group that believes.. repeat believes.. that they have a right to that same land. Either you get them to believe that they are not the rightful owner or you destroy them all. The second option does not seem possible because this group could simply rise up at another time with another name or simply move to another location for a while and then come back. It is as simple as observing the temperature outside. By saying that it is 80 degrees.. I must have something against the sun, Carson City, Nevada.. somebody, something.. correct? If I was in control and was some sort of grand puppeteer, I would have the Palestinians (and therefore Hamas) get over it and start living. Yeah.. so Israel's existence offends you. Move somewhere else and live the best life that you can.
  5. And there we have it.. you admit to not reading the posts and so have no idea what we (Dougie and I) were talking about. Thanks for admitting how clueless you are
  6. you are reacting to Dougie and I's exchange but clearly you did not read it... If you had, you would not be diverting it into this pointless squabble about moral superiority.
  7. more evidence that you did not read the posts...
  8. It is a diversion.. because Dougie and I were not discussing the validity of Christianity which is what you are attempting to divert this to. If you had read the exchange.. you would not be making such a fool of yourself.
  9. And you are the one who jumps into a conversation mid stream and is trying to divert it... nice try, though. this is evidence that you are too lazy to read the full exchange and not reflexively react.. its quite sad.
  10. Ok, so you destroy Hamas. And you think that still stop another group from forming out of Hamas' ashes? As long as there are folks who believe (rightfully or not) that Israel is the colonizer.. this war will continue. Like it or not, that is the current state of affairs. I do not have a dog in the fight so you can quit with the moral indignation. It is simply an observation of the war and why it continues.
  11. Well I wish that there was global cooling or local cooling where I will be this weekend.. Fresno, CA. Saturday's forecasted high is 108. Going to be quite the toaster oven
  12. I simply do not know of a long term solution as long as both claim ownership of the land. It really does not matter who is right or wrong honestly. Neither would admit to being wrong no matter the situation. So as it stands now.. locked in a stalemate over this land with seemingly no chance of either letting up anytime soon.
  13. It would be effective though. Just ask the folks in MS, WY, and WV about the impacts of depopulation.
  14. You clearly did not read the exchange and so have no idea of the context... It's sad that you jump in at chapter 8 of the 12 chapter book and pretend to have something valid to say. Try reading the full exchange between Dougie and I... I know that you can't do this.
  15. Its not the topic at hand... someone with even the most basic of reading comprehension skills could see that. Besides, as always you missed the point of my including the bit about being atheist. Your zealousness precludes you from seeing this. Care to guess as to why I brought it up? Hint.. not nearly as grand as you pretend it to be.
  16. If I lived in Louisiana.. I would simply move. No need to be outraged and protest. I would quietly get another job and move.
  17. If being surrounded by religiosity is important then no, Nevada is not for you. However, there is no state income tax and the political climate is very mild in comparison to most others. Finally, it is more libertarian than anything. You be as weird as you want to be.. just stay over there.
  18. every school, every government.. you are quite the master of hyperbole and exaggeration. Off topic.
  19. You should move to Nevada. The northern half gets all 4 seasons. Summer is hot but cools down dramatically at night. Elko is a great place... plenty of outdoor recreation, services, enough retail, but enough ruggedness to keep folks like you from leaving.
  20. I was in West Wendover in mid-april of this year. Its a pretty interesting place. We camped out north and east of town for two nights.
  21. as I see it.. they do not have to like my obsession with rock music. I leave them be and keep this to myself. It works the same way with their being religious
  22. Believe what you want but I am mostly apolitical. I am an atheist but do not care in the least what someone else does. If my neighbors are religious.. that's aweomse, good for them. Just leave me alone and all is well.
  23. Because I am mostly apolitical and I now live in Northern Nevada. Idaho.. that place is changing. Went back to Boise in April 2024 and it was unrecognizable. That place has grown like I never thought it would. It is basically Denver Part 2 and there is still plenty of room to grow to the south and east of town.
  24. So.. in short, do not take you seriously. Ok, done.
