CdnFox replied to John Johnston's topic in Federal Politics in the United States

NAFTA - Canada gets to sit this one out
CdnFox replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Sure. I have no doubt that carney was trump's choice and he wasn't exactly shy about saying that. -
Are you Egyptian? You certainly seem to like living in de nial

You're 100% serious that you realized I'm right and your big mad about it. And all you have because you're such an emotional child is lashing out at someone who happened to be correct. It is 100% accurate happiness rating has nothing to do with social media. But they've been putting out the same numbers for decades and all countries have the same social media . You're a liar and when you're confronted with the facts you attack the person who presented you the facts. Every single time. Your inability to read and comprehend it's not my problem. Although I must admit it's amusing watching you have a mental breakdown every time you realize that you can't argue against the facts but are unwilling to accept this emotionally The liberals have helped Drive Canada from its spot as the number 5 happiest country down to number 25. And our youth down to 73 (72? Whatever not looking it up). That's the liberal legacy. Our children are growing up in despair and it stanks largely to liberal policy

Yeah, Carney and his people just suck at this. You really don't get a second chance to make a first impression with trump. And carney seems to have convinced trump that he's a spineless goof. I don't hold out high expectations, I think if we're lucky we'll get a bad deal and if we're not lucky we're going to get no deal and trump is going to start imposing tariffs on everything . I don't hurt America in the long run pretty bad as well but it'll be devastating to us -
I was worried when he said "bush".....

Cracks in the MAGA wall?
CdnFox replied to John Johnston's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Oh don't get me wrong, it is one hell of a mess. The backing out now would make it even more of a mess. The whole thing reminds me of Monty Python's reenactment of the battle of pearl harbour -
I just have faith and Canadians to do the unexpected. Trudeau thought he had a majority locked in when he went to the polls during covid and that didn't pan out. But I do know that you can never be sure and that campaigns matter. I have a little doubt they will try We're at the very least try to recreate the trump threat. And that may work. On the other hand they may very well come to the realization that he is failing and be desperate enough to give Poilievre a chance just to try something different. Canadians are very weird and frequently surprised the snot out of people at the polls. Maybe Canadians double down and give him a supermajority, or maybe it goes the other way and they just don't show up to vote for him and he gets a week or minority or possibly loses the minority too poilievre. And in a week the end of people have a new leader. I don't think they're going to make a good choice but you never know how that's going to affect the puzzle

Is Regime Change in Iran 100% Necessary?
CdnFox replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm the first to admit I'm no expert on iranian politics and it sounds like you've given it some thought and study so I'll concede the point for now. Let's hope to hell they can find someone good -
Cracks in the MAGA wall?

Anything at all? So far all you've done is come here and make childish elementary school level insults at people without offering any substantive thougths at all. You're like a Chihuahua who rides behind his fence and barks as the big dogs walk by. That's perhaps you're stupid as comment to date. You can disagree with what they are for or against but there is no doubt that trump supporters and republicans in general are extremely clear about what they are for or against. Are you telling me you honestly don't know their position on illegal immigration? You're absolutely confused as to what their policy is with regards to repatriation of industry and use of tariffs? Unclear as to what they want to make America again? You would have to have more flavors of stupid going on than Baskin-Robbins has flavors of ice cream to believe that they don't understand what they believe in for better or worse. Seriously, that was the sound of your credibility flushing down the toilet in case you weren't sure They never supported pedophiles. They've never supported on ending war. How old are you? Honest to god you sound more like a kid every time you open your mouth. Here's a simple trick in life kid. If you find that you have to lie like this to make your point, then you don't have a very good point Why don't you take a minute and collect your thoughts and actually come back with something intelligent to offer to the conversation rather than just flailing your arms and peeing yourself. Is there a specific issue that's relevant to the topic at hand that you feel needs to be discussed and examined? You should be able to articulate it -
I think what we might see is a lot of them staying at home, actually. Saying one thing to upholster is fine, but the reality is I think they know that carney is underperforming. They're not ready to vote for PP but i think that a lot of them might not vote at all. And i think a lot of the undecided or soft vote may decide maybe it's worth giving PP a chance. You never know. Campaigns matter, and this time carney would be campaigning against his own track record. No more "i just got here". It could really go either way

So you can't refute it. At the very least it is absolutely legitimate to say that a large part of Trudeau's fiscal policy and some of his other policies were formed based on advice received from Carney. And we're already seeing some of the same thinking reflected in Carney's own policy. Such as GST rebates and the like Of course you want to pretend that he had no influence and wasn't involved in all because... well that's comfy self delusion

Cracks in the MAGA wall?
CdnFox replied to John Johnston's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I think the problem now is that for better or worse that can is open and the worms are everywhere. As much as this situation is a total tar baby, Now that they have begun they kind of have to finish. If they leave the current regime in place then it will simply encourage them to be even more aggressive with their support of terrorist groups in the area. They will claim victory because they survived and look like heroes and martyrs. Well we might very well argue that America should not have gone in like this the fact of the matter is now that they did they have to finish the job we're just going to be one hell of a mess on the situation will be considerably worse in the not too distant future -

Is Regime Change in Iran 100% Necessary?
CdnFox replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Not yet. The leader changed but if the young son of the leader takes over and everything else remains the same it's not actually a regime change. It's basically the same government and certainly the same for all practical intents and purposes -
First you have to remember they are masters at self delusion. But when i ask liberals and those on the left point blank about just that kind of question you get answers like "it's 'investing' in our future" and "it's normal, all countries do this" and "a country's books and finance is NOT the same as a persons" etc etc. But there's never any foundation to those statements. What's the rate of return we've been getting on those 'investments', How does the fact that lots of countries do it change the fact it's bad, how is different in a meaningful way? They've just convinced themselves that this is what gov'ts do and nothing bad ever happens. I mean so what if we over spend it's not like we have to pay it back..... this is how they think. I really don't know what to say about that. At least 50 percent of people are below average.

True. You cannot solve the problems of the economy by taking more money away from people and then giving more money back. One of the main reasons for that is that in order to take money away and give it back it generally costs about 20% of the money collected. So inherently, you're removing money from the system that just evaporates as part of the cost of bureaucracy And when you take money away and redistribute it you usually redistributing it in such a way that people that didn't earn as much of that money get more and people that did earn more of that money get less and that always spikes inflation. Liberals don't understand that our entire system is based on the idea that in order to receive a dollar you must produce a dollar's worth of value in goods or services. That is what guarantees that generally speaking there is always as much good in services to be bought as there is money to buy it which keeps inflation under control. When you artificially dump money into that system it throws everything off and inflation can very easily run rampant It's not the only thing that drives inflation but it's update Factor

And that's what lets us look to the next couple of years and see how they will turn out. There's no chance Carney will actually get anything done. He sucks at negotiating his negotiating team has already failed. And unfortunately with trump you get one chance and then he forms an opinion about you and that's it Carney isn't going to get anything built. He's not going to bring any significant net new jobs or investment into the country. He's not going to stop food inflation, and his 'solution' about giving people back money he took from them to 'help with groceries' just fuels inflation. A year from now things will be worse. A year after that they'll be worse again. This is inevitable. We KNOW he doesn't have the skills to stop that from happening. We've seen how he thinks He's a façade. THere's no substance to him. It's just a question of how long people will take to figure that out.
-
What i said is quite true. You're trying to persist in the lie that somehow this is about social media. It is not. This year's report contained an extra section about social media. But the actual index has nothing to do with social media. So all you have is lies. We've fallen from 5 to 25 in happiness as a people, and our youth who traditionally are the happiest generation have fallen to 72. And all those other countries beating us also have social media The liberals have crushed the people and especially the kids of today

Yep. Or you wouldn't have replied again. You're pretty predictable kiddo You mean like facts Kid, the emotional damage you suffer when you're confronted with facts is not anyone else's fault but your own. Bother reading dalhousie yet? No? Hmmm.

Typical liberal, pretends to care about other people but in reality is just fine as long as he's got his.

And the amusing thing is whether she realizes it or not her job was actually to distract from climate change. While she was screaming about how her future was being stolen and they were sitting there weeping and nodding and clapping for her everyone failed to notice that they weren't actually doing anything about climate change. She was an amazingly useful 1diot. It gave a bunch of politicians that couldn't give a Flying Fig about climate change all kinds of opportunity to prince around and look noble but do nothing

People who are driven by hatred and negative emotions always have to justify them to someone. That's why gossip exists. Your kind needs to validate your hatred and cannot tolerate anything that doesn't support that She spend all your time coming up with fake and overblown and imaginary reasons why your hatred is justified. But that's not rational. That's Emotion driven
