  1. Awww look at you, making more stuff up to try to make yourself feel better You sure do have an aversion to reality Pointing out your dishonesty when you try and claim that life under harper was exactly the same as life under Trudeau is not defending harper or the conservatives, it's pointing out your denial about trudeau. It is universally accepted that the quality of life in Canada has dropped drastically in the 10 years since harper's days. That's just an accepted fact. Virtually every metric reflects it. But your absolute denial of obvious facts in a desperate attempt to prop up a belief system that is so obviously and odds with reality is what makes you in a cult
  2. Everyone knows that's a lie. We've been through this a million times You genuinely believe that trudeau can be excused because somehow harper's accountability act which exposed numerous examples of Justin's corruption didn't magically stop all corruption in Canada. It's truly pathetic And you've argued strongly that voters should not hold corrupt governments to account when voting. The voting is a useless proposition to begin with And look! You who swear that you don't support the liberals at all and haven't for decades are here yet again spending yet another day defending the liberals.
  3. Pretty much everything. As i noted. No it isn't, that's just something you make up to feel better about your own bad behavior. When it was the case nobody was jumping up and down. So you're demonstrably wrong right off the bat. All you ever bring to the table is lies and crap you made up to excuse your lies. Sorry reality makes you cry so hard You literally did just try and justify his record claiming that somehow his record is my fault. It's not that his record is bad you see, it's that in my mind it's bad and therefore that makes it my fault I guess! What a twat. You have spent endless amounts of energy trying to defend Trudeau's broken fiscal record and claiming that things were just as bad under harper as they were under Trudeau which is beyond ludicrous. And now you're trying to suggest that any problems that Justin may have had are just my imagination You are in a cult. It is not normal to behave the way you are with regards to a political leader unless you are essentially in a cult.
  4. LOLOL so you can't answer the question So you agree what carney is doing is terrible I thought so. Yet you still support him When you grow up you'll realize that's really a bad thing and would make you a terrible person as an adult. Well.. hopefully you'll realize anyway
  5. True. It is often said that politics is downstream of culture. The meaning of which is that our impression of politics comes from our media and our social interactions rather than reality, a fact the politicians use to their advantage by manipulating the media and culture. But as individuals we can choose not to be part of that. And that's really the best we can do
  6. Of course there is, you can vote for a different government The only people claiming that are the businesses exploiting these people for low wages The fact of the matter is when you have a large supply of super low wage people who don't go to human rights for abuses then of course business is going to make use of that. And eventually it becomes built into the cake, this system requires exploitation in order to function rather than changing and adapting to something more healthy. A small amount of immigration or I should say perhaps inappropriate amount of immigration can be a valuable thing in the long term. But that is not what we are facing
  7. Fun fact the spiked tail appendage is now actually known as a thogamizer as a result of this specific comic. Thagomizer - Wikipedia
  8. Yep, British Columbians are definitely saying that they've had enough of the whole reconciliation thing for the moment. I suspected we will elect a government that will completely repudiate dripa and i suspect that the federal gov't will want to avoid it as well. A bit of a bridge too far for the first nations i think.
  9. I don't think that's ever happened here. Even when poilievre was considerably ahead nobody suggested it was gospel or that it was precise. I've said it doesn't times that in between elections the big value of a pool is in watching them over time to determine trends and not the accuracy of any individual pole itself. You just have to make up shit at random to make yourself feel better From reality. The general trend over the last 10 years has been that Canada has become worse and worse and worse across almost every Metric. And that trend continues. We are more in debt. Our economy is worse. Affordability is at an all-time low despite the fact that carney is insisting it's the best in decades 🙄 Our crime situation is bad and our trade and trade deals are completely trashed. Are automotive and lumber Industries are collapsing we are still experiencing net losses in investment. Another auto plant just closed So that is the trend. Every year the liberals are in power things get a little worse
  10. Harper didn't get a minority and then peg his way to a majority. The people trusted him with the majority right off the bat and it's very different than this situation. But you seem to be being critical of harper here are you saying that what harper did is right and therefore what carney has done is right? Or are you saying what harper did is wrong and therefore we're currently has done is wrong?
  11. It was crap and proof of that has been posted many times. That's why people were so frustrated then why Biden was doing so badly in the polls. You also have to be careful from where you take your statistics because remember that many of the statistics were "revised" To be far worse than they were originally reported. This includes crime, job numbers, and a number of other economic factors But at the end of the day you can play with the numbers all you want but the people on the ground are the truth. The economy was crap and people wanted to hold Biden to account for it
  12. So you're claiming that there's absolutely zero problems whatsoever with immigrants coming into Canada. The program is working perfectly, it's not having an impact on us at all that's negative. Nothing to fix there That's your argument?
  13. There was no hole. In fact Trudeau got caught up in some of harper's legislation not to mention the whole ethics commissioner who caught him and found him guilty during the Aga Khan incident and several others The same one who's blown the whistle on carney. Or did you forget that that was a harper creation as well. And once again you want to try and blame Trudeau's corruption and now Carney's corruption on harper. You and your friends are the ones that keep a corrupt government in power in Canada. You have absolutely no interest in accountability and the only reason you whine about it is to cover the fact that you're thrilled as hell keep supporting the crap out of a corrupt scumbag who's stealing the next generation's money as fast as you'll let him
  14. That tends to be a matter of perspective. For example you might well make the argument that Biden's mishandling a files less egregious than trumps because he cooperated but there's still a breach in the law that was forgiven when it was biden. Likewise I find obama's direct interference with the intelligence operators to produce a fake report suggesting trump was a Russian agent to be more egregious than anything trump has done to date. Others may feel differently. This is always the problem my voters allow their perception to justify letting their favorites off the hook. And I do mean that from both sides. In a world where voters were doing their job they should have crucified the democrats and all those involved for the fake job charges over trump. Likewise trump supporters probably should have held trump a lot more to account for his over the line efforts to find a legal loophole to exploit to try and win the election in 2020. The problem we have now is that everybody knows that the democrats tried to use the legal system to go after trump and prevent him from running or ruin his chances and so now the republicans aren't the slightest interested when he targets democrats. The FBI got away with targeting trump for the most part and even were convicted of criminal charges which the perpetrator got off on essentially, and the dem supporters stayed silent or even cheered, and now republicans don't care when ICE is used to go farther than some would be comfortable with and bend laws they way THEY like. I honestly believe that the only way forward for democracy to work is for voters to be a lot more honest about what's going on. Sure we're going to have our favorites and you're probably going to lean towards being forgiving to them compared to the other guy but right now it's insane We should be punishing parties that spread negative nonsense about the other guy instead of promoting their own position, and I don't mean when they criticize policy but when they make it all about personal attacks, and we should be punishing any corruption or political shenanigans most harshly.
  15. And you can't argue against it! Which is about 100% of your participation on this thread For heaven's sake, calm down kid
  16. It's not pity, it's the arrogance and hatred of the left that brought us to this point. The sheer incompetence made this inevitable. The left literally made trump look like a better choice and a more reasonable president than electing the left. Think about that for a minute Yawn. Biden did the same thing, no charges. And everyone everywhere knew that was a completely bullshit charge doctored up to weaponize the courts against him. about 75 percent of people polled said the charges were politically motivated, and they were. Even the people who agreed with the charges thought they were politically motivated in most cases, they just didn't care. The whole felony charge thing required that the jury believe that another crime MIGHT have happened without proof. They didn't even need to agree on WHICH crime. It got called the Tinkerbell law and everybody understood that this was an example of the democrats using the courts to persecute their opponents. It turned people off in a massive way. It was so banana republic it wasn't even funny. It made the democrats look like a corrupt bunch of complete lunatics who could not be trusted with power And sure enough people kick them to the curb Where is Biden's kids saw a trial but then was set free by Biden who swore he would never do that unclaimed the only reason he was going after trump is that nobody was above the law There's nothing you can say about trump I can't also be said of the democrats and had full democrat supporter buy in previously The thing is when democrats police kinds of crimes people like you applaud with both hands and give thumbs up and then our shocked and horrified when republicans don't freak out when a republican does it Nobody cares about your bullshit made up charges. And that was proved when the public voted him in again with him gaining ground and literally every single county so hard they bounced a few times Keep it up in the same thing will happen
  17. Still you kid The only motion I demonstrate when I'm talking to you is amusement That's your go-to whenever you're losing an argument and you desperately want to make other people responsible for your own crap Behavior Not only am I aware of you kid but so is everyone else here. You're fooling no one
  18. Neither. I'm promoting the truth and letting the chips fall where they may. What you said was essentially wrong. It's worth pointing out when people say things that are essentially wrong. It's also interesting to note that it's positions like this which grossly misrepresented the facts or outright lied along with the constant insistence that everyone associated with trump including his supporters were Nazis and fascists extensively long before the election that that is exactly what was going to happen. It's not good for the democrat party to be completely destroyed or to fall apart and become inconsequential. But that is what's happening right now and it's largely because of dishonesty like that which you just demonstrated. The left needs to get back on track or we're going to become a one party system sooner or later. And Canada may always be a little slower but it'll happen here too
  19. Based on what? Your argument was specifically that our policies made our city safer for people like you and the evidence does not support that Oh please. Violence between gangs is not random violence obviously. You're playing it dishonest game Because neither you or I are in a gang as far as I'm aware. Criminal games fighting each other rarely impact the safety of individual citizens. Mass shootings would be included in that. That is random violence. But you made specific statements about people in policy and I have limited the violence to reflect that. If you're not in a gang then violence that only occurs between gangs isn't relevant. If you and your wife beat each other up or shoot each other in a domestic violence situation that has absolutely nothing to do with government policy and isn't the kind of violence we're talking about Right. I'm sure you'll get right on that. It's pretty obvious you did. You deliberately ignored something I said and tried to come back with something different. And not surprisingly when we take a look at what information I provided is suggests that I'm right and I'm sure that if you looked into it you were finding the same thing and simply didn't want to admit that There's nothing new about it. Two people having an argument that know each other and fighting is normal no matter what country you live in, it happens. Criminal organizations fighting amongst themselves are significant problem but not really what we're talking about here when you talk about being able to walk around the streets safely. What you're talking about when you discussing the ability to walk about a city freely is the idea that someone random make him up and rob or stab or harm you. And the fact is candidate does not do a lot better than the states. You could cherry pick a couple of examples but overall it's just not the case Your track record doesn't allow for that. Your mistakes always just happen magically to be in favor of the position you want to promote and there's always just enough to try to make your point And here again you just "Happened" to not see the part where i referred to relevant violence, you can't imagine why i'd exclude violence that isn't relevant to the situation you described, etc. And I presented you information but rather than comment on it as an honest man would you simply say I'll look into it later and get back to you which we both know you never will If you want the benefit of the doubt then you need to behave in an honest and operate fashion. You once again dodged the simple facts I put forward and you can't refute them but rather than come back and say gosh I didn't realize that our streets were as dangerous as American streets maybe what I said was in error, you come back with this nonsense which is dodging and desperately trying to avoid discussing the issue or the facts presented And then you go on about how you're the victim and I should be nicer Dude if you argue from the point of view of honesty and address the issues raised in the conversation then it's quite possible to have an interesting disussion even when people disagree, but when you play the kind of games you play here (and always do) and run away from the facts and the issue then you make it impossible to have respect for you or your position.
  20. Never happened. His records were correct, in any other state or country in the land that's how you record it. At best it was an accounting error, but biden and the dems weaponized the courts to go after him for it Oh you mean when he left them in his garage with his corvette? no wait that was biden. Never happened. He looked for legal loopholes to have the results come out in his favor but so have dems many times in the past. Hanging chad anyone? And when was he convicted of that? never? Yeah. You mean he's the president of the united states for a second term and there's nothing you can do about it? yeah. That's where we're at. And its primarily lies like the ones you just told that drove people into his camp.
  21. No, that would involve shoving a few crayons up my nose and possibly a concussion, and i'm out of crayons and am wearing a helmet.
  22. IF only science could discover a way to power vehicles by hypocrisy.
