  1. You can't make this type of stuff up. Most people just want to peacefully live their own lives. What happened to live and let live? I never bother trans people, have always been raised to respect everyone. I called my doctor "yes sir" once at a question. He isn't full of himself, so didn't correct me. Its not the trans people to me. Its the doctor I spoke to years ago, working retail. She ordered lights, and her order showed "Mrs (Insert last name)". So I called her Mrs. I got a strip torn off of me for 5 minutes straight on how she didn't go to university for 10 years, to be called Mrs. My apologies meant nothing. She was going to make an example out of me. What was her trying to command respect, had the opposite effect. I saw her as incredibly arrogant, and if I found out she was my doctor, would seek another clinic. Its this holier than thou thought police, and assault on free speech that bothers me. Be trans all you want. Keep kids out of it, and get over yourselves.
  2. Leaked intel shows a vastly different image than the one you, and the western media are painting. There is very low faith that this war can be won by Ukraine, all the more reason to try to negotiate with a high hand. There is even that looming thought of a Zelensky assassination (something he is very aware of), which would take Ukraine by its head. The body would soon follow. Kyiv was almost taken by Russia. A last second hail Mary flooding of a river by destroying a dam, is the only thing that stopped this. Catastrophic failure by Russia, but also exposed vulnerabilities they can exploit once conditions allow for it. They still vastly outnumber Ukraine by multiple times. This favors Russia, long term. How poorly Russia has performed is irrelevant, when they continue to destroy Ukraine. Moral high ground is meaningless, when you run state media, and the propaganda machine is in full swing. They are the moral high ground to many in Russia. For the many who don't buy it, 15 years in prison, has proven to be sufficient to keep such thoughts to oneself to avoid being tried for secession. Let it not be a mistake. Putin is desperate. However as long as he toes the line with those that pull his strings, he is essentially bulletproof in terms of his grip on power. Joe Biden isn't on Putin's level, sorry. If you were talking about European leaders who also are lending a hand to Ukraine, you may have a better argument among some of them. Biden is fish food to Putin. They had that choice. They were surrounded by Russia. This was a critical moment to dial down tensions, not fan the flames. I want the war over. Anyone rational will think the same.
  3. Yeah the co-worker I had was highly narcissistic. I think its a prerequisite for joining antifa. That, and unemployment or otherwise an acceptable level of wanting to live off others (their money, their hurt, or their stories). Type who'll scold you and tell you your country isn't yours. "you live on borrowed land" I'd rather contribute on that land, than be useless on it. Or state things like "capitalism is bad", and be lost at why people laugh at them posting this, from their Apple laptop (from companies like Foxconn that manufactures them, which had to install "suicide nets" to prevent staff from jumping out of windows to their death). You can't scold something you're benefiting from. Well, you can, but that would be hypocritical. Lost on them, is the immense privilege that one has, to complain on someone else's behalf. I've been to many developing countries, and the common theme is how hopeful people are, in comparison to the west. They have nothing--they only have hope. People don't have time to protest pronouns in such settings, or hurt feelings. They're too hungry to be worried about being misgendered. We are so privileged, we're wishful. You go to such a country and see enough kids with ribs showing, begging for food, or stray animals in abundance, rats everywhere (regular power and water outages that make you appreciate every drop you get when back home), and come back here to these non contributing individuals trying to "educate" you with no life experience, and makes them seem tenfold pathetic.
  4. Anyone trying to pass gender dysphoria as part of nature and not a disorder that requires treatment, aren't doing any service to your kids and should have restraining orders put onto them to prevent them being anywhere near any children at all. Am asexual. I just knew I was different all my life. There was never any doubt. I didn't need to be told or taught asexuality. I knew something was off about me, so researched and found it. To make trans ideology accessible to all, isn't about helping. A trans person, gay person or anyone in the "rainbow" will commonly "know" they were from a young age. They don't need to teach queer theory. Give people who need it, access to the help they are seeking.
  5. Antifa uses the same tactics as Trump, but is too blind to see it. I.E Trump's penchant to ask where a media provider is from. He hears CNN, and dismisses anything they say, a fake before a word is stated. Its leftist, so can't be news. They will demand links, but you already know if your links are conservative, this will dismiss them automatically as fake or somehow not being true. You must present leftist links for approval, vs providing data. Data, and anything similar is irrelevant. I've never seen a poster need things spelled out this badly. Kind of sad, really as showcases the state of hate groups like Antifa, if people like this are the face of them or speaking on their behalf. To me, its a waste of an education.
  6. I'm assuming they're hating that I wasn't playing into the victim hood I was ordered to play into? This likely made me racist, somehow? That, or supportive of covert racism? They don't have a leg to stand on, so would resort to showing their true colors when backed against the wall. What you're seeing from them, is just that. Precisely why trans extremists get mocked by the majority of people out there. Their agenda is crazy. Gaslight all you wish, it won't change a thing. I know who I am and what I stand for, so gaslighting doesn't work on me, but I can see why so many will cower when approached by a loud speaker that is a master at playing identity politics and moving the goal posts.
  7. Uh, lack of range, I drive long distance, very often. I shouldn't need to check apps to find stations that won't take me 8 hours to charge (supercharger stations). There are literally gas stations at just about every highway exit. In the middle of nowhere, two things are almost certain. Gas station, and a Timmies. Pricing also plays a major part for me. I can easily find an ICE car that would take me to Toronto barely breaking a sweat for under 30K. Many EVs struggle with range. Those that do not in the slightest, tend to be very expensive. Charging takes time. I can fuel my car from zero, in less than two minutes. Full. I can probably do 80% in ten to fifteen on the best cars. 100% charges deteriorates your battery life over time. Defeating the purpose of getting a long range EV. Battery technology is currently dirty, and far from carbon neutral. Battery charging technology is often far from carbon neutral, which makes things hypocritical if you're using fossil fuels, coal or dirty energy to run your "clean" EVs. Thats literally a politician virtue signaling about green technology being the future and that we must adopt, as they fly. to. each. event on a private jet. Am all for EVs, but I strongly believe Honda and Toyota have better understanding of the future. We will be fossil fuel dependent for decades to come. You can't cut cold turkey something that is literally embedded into your infrastructure. It takes time. Tons of money. Pressuring people is backwards. Get the infrastructure and the technology, and get pricing driven down. Once it would be moronic to drive an ICE, it's funny with human nature, people will naturally adopt EVs.
  8. "I'm offended for you". I don't think there is any more of a pompous thing you could say, in the name of virtue signaling. Like, if they don't fight for trans people, they will die. If they don't fight for the planet, it will be destroyed. They have to fight for black people, to protect them from the police. Animals from being murdered. Like. Get over yourself. Get a job. Get a family, or don't. The planet was doing just fine before you were born, will do the same when you're gone. The world will continue to rotate. Individual countries, humans that's another story, but just the arrogance in thinking you gluing your hands to a painting will make any difference, is precisely why terms like clown world are used to describe people like this in higher positions.
  9. They have hit the nail on the head, if so. They even nailed the entitlement, the moving of the goal posts, and calling anyone who disagrees fascists, transphobes or so on. You usually see this on Tik Tok videos that get mocked, where you just feel its for attention and views. Kanye West is the only person who I could think of who would. Or Putin (who openly has). You're just not in good company, really in doing so. I worked with someone who was close, but had redeeming qualities to her. Like, every word it seemed, was offensive and they couldn't read between lines or understand context. Everything had to be spelled out for them, kind of like this poster. Same co-worker scolded me for refusing to confront a co-worker when they pointed to an elderly Chinese woman, and asked me if that was my wife (who is mixed race and Asian). I saw it as a dumb joke, so I gave the pity laugh. She was seething. She confronted me the next day (keep in mind this was a staff lunch, so we are adults in public), and I pointed to me not feeling it was the right place if ever, to confront an adult in a public place like that for something that silly. She then told me that if I understood racism (keep in mind am black, and she was white), that I would be as angry as I should about it. Thats what I mean, with a lack of understanding how to read between lines. The joke made was an inside joke, which is why it evoked laughter from me. It was a bad one, so it also had me shake my head. I then asked her if she had ever experienced racism. She condescendingly said no, but at least she understood that fighting it was the only way to stop it. Again. Lack of common sense. Am black. I have experienced racism my entire life. Doesn't mean a white person can't comprehend racism, but to talk down to someone who has lived something, is baffling to me. Same way they talk about Republicans, when they haven't truly attempted to understand the history of both parties which are plagued with issues. I had them blocked, but kept clicking on their posts to allow me to view them. I just can't allow myself to believe this person isn't just trolling the left like you said. I see it like extreme trans activists. Rational trans people, despise these people. They have literally become the low life black people who would loot a store and feel entitled to it, to people like me. Because I have to live down the consequences of that behavior, like I am the spokesperson for low IQ black people. Same activists make trans people simply want to exist, look totally unhinged, entitled and needing to be silenced, hurting those who truly suffer from gender dysphoria, and not those caught up in the trend.
  10. While this is good on paper, in practice I am seeing this go down like his tuition forgiveness program. Empty promises, to get votes. I find the most sketchy, is how there is a refusal to detail how money would be obtained to do this, nor the budget that would be required.
  11. They likely were ridiculed as a regular poster, so has to come back as a troll. I refuse to believe a real person living has that low an IQ. Actually, I have met people who you secretly pray aren't having kids, and that the DNA stops at them. If that's a genuine person, I would add them to that mix, of people that would have been better off running down their mom's leg or being swallowed.
  12. I don't watch news. I read newspapers understanding all am reading must be taken with a grain of salt.
  13. There are two, but thanks for trying. I also consider the failed attempts at it, at an attempt to censor speech (whether it be books, bans on social media and the like). The far right being a fumbling individual in brazenly and openly banning books, is no different than the far left doing so more passively. A pseudo intellectual being a hypocrite is no different than room temperature IQ individual. Am eluding to the likely perceived intelligence, and actual on either far right and left extreme. A ban is still a ban. Both parties have banned books over "concerns". The fact you can't see the hypocrisy in the political party that you support, tells me you are unable to debate in good faith. I could easily see the issue on both sides. I had you on ignore for a reason. The fact you can't see how your tactics are identical to people like Donald Trump's, is laughable. You can carry on debating with yourself. Nobody with their right mind will take your posts seriously.
  14. That's the thing. Am not talking about boycotts. Am talking about actual policies. I mentioned banned books. I could post more. The far left has silenced speech quite a few times, and most notable through social media. You can ignore reality all you wish. This unfortunately is reality you live in. Meaning, it still continues to be as such.
  15. Am still in the middle. Life is too short to constantly be angry. I have yet to meet a far leftist that wasn't just an overly anxious ball of anger. I have yet to meet a far right winged individual who didn't sound something like: "We should just nuke Iraq, and let terrorism be over with" What about innocent civilians? "Nobody is innocent down there" To varying degrees of similar ignorance. I always struggled to find groups that met my political alignment as a result. Am highly aware of many social issues, but also know am a grown adult and that it isn't my governments job to hold my hand for me to survive. I am insanely proud I got out of absolute poverty without a handout.
  16. That would be false. Identity politics, victim hood and the fight for social justice for small groups at the expense of the majority are all forms of speech and thought control. For the latter, the word transphobic has been weaponized to often mean: "those who disagree with me". Comedians can no longer make jokes about a group, unless they belong to it. Terms like "Punching up" or "Punching down" being popular, prove this. So, if black or Asian, I could mock a white person, but a white person doing the same, is racist. Don Lemon clearly showcased this, in the debate that likely got him fired. Because the person talking about black rights wasn't black, it dismissed their entire argument. Turn on the victim hood, and then finish with identity politics in scolding them for not being black, and thus having zero understanding on black hurt. Nobody can call anyone out anymore, and that precise fear of doing so that it causes is precisely speech control. You refusing to see it, doesn't mean it isn't a tactic used to suppress speech. In Canada Justin Trudeau used terms like terrorists and unacceptable views to describe a group disagreeing with him. I didn't even touch up on tech giants silencing speech and calling it "dangerous" if it went against their propaganda. It's been proven, in written on people who places like Twitter were forced to take down. Amazon took down the book When Harry Became Sally, under far leftist pressure. It made me that much more interested in buying it, so I did. That's just one book, but to say the left hasn't canceled or suppressed anything makes you sound more like a troll than a person trying to engage in rational debate.
  17. Very few take anyone in the hard left or right seriously. One extreme isn't better than the other. That's like saying a broken tibia is at least better than a blown out knee. Nobody suffering either injury has said so. The sad part is the political laughingstocks have divided people into camps who now feel they have to vote for one, or the other extreme. Either extreme is completely devoid of common sense or reality.
  18. I don't use anyones passwords or Netflix. I think Netflix is garbage. I use YouTube, or use my VPN to get movies or shows for free. I most certainly won't pay for cable TV.
  19. Of course, but Zelensky stating all territory that has been taken including Crimea, would be returned to Ukraine is insanely bold, considering that their negotiating hand is compromised. The US made false promises to him before the invasion, emboldened him, and now he is begging them for weapons. The costlier this becomes, the more people will demand a solution. Especially so, when deep corruption is popping up in his government we are sending assets to without asking any questions. Documents have proven the dire prognosis the US feels are Ukraine's chances. Putin is a master at chess. War is a game of chess. Take emotions out of the equation. In what world does Ukraine have a strong hand here? Russia has an equally weak hand, in that they couldn't demand a significant portion of Ukraine's coast line. Last must be given away, and Ukraine can only bolster its hand prior to negotiations but don't have what it takes to win the war on the ground. This is and would be the only means of Ukraine accepting some land lost. Anything less, is unacceptable as a Russian guarantee is like a crackhead telling you they will pay you back. Ukraine needs to think of its security. Losing a little land, in exchange for security to me is the deal that should be made. Both parties should be pressured to make this deal. The longer this war lingers, the more they are hurt (Ukraine). Russia isn't under widespread attack, and seeing entire cities turned to ruin. Very easy to ignore this war, when your city isn't being shelled. I have spoken to several Ukrainian people who barely escaped the war, and many just want the war to stop. Some have zero idea what is left of their families. Nobody wins in war. Framing this as winning, is delusional.
  20. Am more concerned at speech being policed. Not people saying Abraham Lincoln was a colonizer.
  21. There are so many other types. So no, not rare.
  22. Proactively, means making concessions that are reasonable to Ukraine, to end hostilities. No agreement without an immediate entry into NATO. Only a NATO membership would make Putin think twice. A promise from him is meaningless, so you need to put protections that ensure devastating consequences to him if he ever attempted it, again. Sorry, but you don't win wars like this. You negotiate them to a stop. Ukraine is outgunned by Russia. Should they become desperate, Russia has the weapons to wipe Kyiv off the face of the earth. If you had a no holds barred war, Russia would win in seconds. There is a tightrope dance being done by all parties who clearly do not seek escalation with any of the big boys. Russia has no choice but to fight a war that favors Ukraine, who knows their terrain better than anyone. Only reason their president isn't dead. There was a close call, but western propagandists don't want to give that much light. Nothing is impossible at war. You shouldn't be operating off of hope in war. You need to be calculated. What is the likeliest way to end the conflict. Not hoping Putin gets overthrown. Thats as foolish as Putin hoping for a red wave in 2024 which would help his cause. Of course not, but North Korea and Russia have enough chemical weapons to cause disastrous human loss of life. They tested a few similar such weapons, which were more types to burn flesh within a radius, to maximize death toll, without a care for collateral. Putin backed firmly against a wall is an abusive husband aware the police is on its way. The gravity of their mistake is now impossible to escape. Walls closing in, sink or swim. This is when someone like this will be insanely dangerous. Brought to his knees, would have meant him having to take a deal that humiliated him. He is still standing, so is still in a position to call shots that the US and Ukraine are not.
  23. In my opinion its wisest to proactively try to end this. If all you have is hope, it won't be much to go by with Putin needing the illusion of a win at very least, to save his own bacon. He will never stop this war until this is the case and has way too much to lose to back down. I meant with trade. Let's not kid ourselves here, Russia took a massive financial hit with this catastrophic miscalculation, but its in its best interests to boost trade with China and India, who are willing to invest in bilateral investments, but not in war. China wouldn't risk its global standing to send arms to Russia, nor would India. They gain nothing, and lose too much. Iran and North Korea wouldn't hesitate, however. What I was eluding to, was Russia finding means to stabilizing their financial position and avoiding the type of crashes the US were predicting. Putin's a crook. He will find legal or illegal means to get by. Their only issue would be how quickly they could produce weapons.
