In an absolute sense, you're right, but we're not an absolute democracy. The Constitution exists to provide guardrails that protect and preserve the nation, even from the excesses of the population. It prohibits the election of a foreign citizen as President to prevent giving that power to someone loyal to another county. It prevents the election of someone who has engaged in insurrection because that person has already demonstrated that they are not loyal to the country, but to some other interest. It's unfathomable that people would want vote for someone who has already betrayed a constitutional oath and attempted to steal power and subvert the will of the people, but if people were inclined to do so (and apparently many are) the 14th amendment is the guardrail meant to prevent bad judgement from becoming a fatal mistake. A vote to end democracy is anti-democratic. Funny, but serious.

If Zelensky would publicly cast shade on the Bidens, then Trump would release the already-approved military aid and set up and oval office visit. Trump didn't need Zelensky to actually find anything. FOX never had credibility. But you don't really need it with an audience so credulous. That's why they don't hire journalists, don't break news and don't win awards. But that's a double-edged sword. Our military has definitely evolved. We want their oil, and when we aren't getting our way we foment regime change, we bomb, and we invade. Oil funds terrorism. But it also inspires our "terrorism" of Muslim peoples. Their acts of terrorism aren't spontaneous or random. They aren't generally bombing, you know, Switzerland or something. They're attacking the US and other western allies because they see themselves as part of an ongoing conflict with these states. And it's hard to argue that they are wrong. There just happens to be a massive power asymmetry, so their fight manifests as terrorism.

Terrorism doesn't really have anything to do with the religion. Terrorism is just one manifestation of violence, and usually the acts are on a small, guerilla scale because the actors simply lack the resources to do more. They don't have a powerful military with a global reach, so they become terrorists. We do have that military, so we conduct military operations. If we really want to categorize acts of violence as inherent to the religions of the perpetrators (we shouldn't) I don't think it will look good for Christianity. I suspect Christians have killed vastly more Muslims than Muslims have killed Christians. Even per capita.

As well informed as always. There are zero indictments about Trump's estimate of his own properties. The business fraud, of which he has already been deemed liable, is a civil case. And the Jan 6 insurrectionists did exactly what they understood that Trump asked of them.
