These brave, admirable ideals are a language that the modern left is incapable of comprehending, let alone adopting and expressing. Dr Nicolai Sennels is a Danish psychologist who worked for the prison system, where 70% of his clients were Muslims. Usman Khan who murdered two people near London Bridge had fooled instructors on the Prevent anti-terrorist programme he had de-radicalised. Sennels notes anger is seen as a weakness in the west but seen as a strength in Islam. Even constructive criticism "is seen as an attack on one’s honour", & any means necessary is justified in rectifying it. It is alien to try & find a retort or a better argument. Many Muslims believe their life is preordained by Allah, "insha’ Allah” — if Allah wills. It "leaves little room for individual responsibility", & leads to the "world-famous Muslim victim mentality, where everybody else is blamed & to be punished for the Muslims’ own self-created situation". Shockingly: "Muslims are told that they are superior to non-Muslims, destined to dominate non-Muslims, and that they must distance themselves socially & emotionally from non-Muslims. "The many hateful & dehumanising verses in the Quran & the Hadiths against non-Muslims closely resemble the psychological propaganda that leaders use against their own people in order to prepare them mentally for fighting the enemy. Peace? Don't make me bloody laugh. Since its inception, Islam has been the religion of war, violently expanding in all directions at the point of a sword. Convert or flee or die. For centuries it sought to conquer the West, but fell victim first to distance and then to its own backwardness as the West grew more organized and more advanced. Islam languages due to its religious beliefs and a societal culture that said the study of Islam was more important by far than the study of any earthly science. If your son was really bright (nobody cares about girls) then he becomes an Islamic scholar and brings pride to his entire extended family. And the liberals invited them here to the West, and while meek at first, they've changed as their numbers have grown. They're throwing elbows now, making demands. They've realized the morally and intellectually corrupt and bankrupt governments and legal systems of the West don't even begin to have the ability to challenge them because their own doctrines of freedom of speech and religion protect them while they do their best to burrow away at the secular and Christian underpinnings of Western culture. Meanwhile, Western religious leaders are so enthralled with the idea of cultural relativism and antiracism they embrace their new would-be conquerers and preach togetherness and tolerance. The pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury beg Western European governments to take more and more and still more Muslim migrants and do nothing to resist or offend. As do the governments of Canada, from the Trudeau Liberals on down through every government and government agency in Canada. No Canadian politician dares to say a thing against Islam, a fundamentally vicious, brutal, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic, and hateful religion. Instead, they go to mosques and plead for votes and promise in exchange more immigration from Muslim lands. Police escort blatantly pro-terrorism supporters through the streets of our major city and threaten arrest for anyone who dares to express disapproval. Just standing still with a Canadian flag, or wearing a yarmulke can get you ordered off the street lest you offend the Muslims. So I think I will use this topic for a collection of stories I come across about Islam and its behaviour in the West.

Perhaps the fact other news organizations are shying away from mentioning it is an indictment on THEM. Because the British media have not covered themselves in glory in this matter either. The British establishment ignored the plight of these girls for fear of upsetting Muslims, for fear of being called racist and Islamophobic, and out of class contempt for what were almost all lower-class girls. Mostly left-wing labour councils in the areas didn't just ignore the problem but took active measures to ensure no one did anything. That included their local child welfare offices and police. The idea police would find a naked, drunk 12 year old girl in the company of half a dozen adult males and arrest HER for being drunk and disorderly is an example of how absurd things were. And it was only one particularly insistent journalist from the Times who kept prodding it and had the power to get his stories published that eventually led to the first government investigation. Now, estimates of how many girls were raped and passed around among Pakistani men range upward into the hundreds of thousands over the decades. And the defense Pakistani men make when caught is that they have the right, under Islam, to take infidel women and girls as they choose. Though they definitely seemed to prefer little girls. Probably because they're easier to control.

So the race is on! Who will choose our next PM? Russia? China? India? India has more foreign students here, but China is better organized. Suddenly, tens if not hundreds of thousands of foreign workers and students join the Liberals (for free) and vote for that candidate. When then becomes our prime minister. Nothing wrong with that, right? Or maybe a certain candidate makes private assurances to the Chinese that if they become PM they will turn foreign policy decidedly towards China. Now a hundred thousand Chinese troop obediently into the voting booth to vote for 'their' guy. That okay with everyone? It's okay with Liberals.

Even on CNBC, which I rather doubt has a particularly high percentage of Black viewers, every second commercial features black people. The Black population of Canada is 4%, of Ottawa 8%, so why is the only morning show in the city anchored by two black people? Were they really the most talented who could be found? Or are the progressive station owners virtue signaling about how open-minded they are? It's ridiculous. And if racism is as widespread as certain people insist, why are advertisers so prominently featuring black actors and actresses? Wouldn't that cause hostility towards their products?

And ordinary violence is also about hate a lot of times. And it's overwhelmingly black on white rather than the reverse. The British were opposed to slavery for hundreds of years before the movement sprang up to outlaw slavery in the colonies. Slavery was abolished in GB sometime around 1200. When foreigners arrived with slaves they found they couldn't enforce their claims on them. On a few occasions, they tried to do so in the courts and those became national sensations and they lost. And there's a difference between 'obnoxious people' nagging, or in other words, convincing others to change their minds, and the government and its institutions hectoring and lecturing and forcing those changes by threatening and punishing those who don't. Same thing with women voting. No. What happens in a contemporary setting is if you make an improper joke or remark or express and opinion that goes against the grain the government institutions and their bureacrats do their best to crush you. A dumb, naive view of cultural relativism that convinces the left that all cultures are basically the same and all people everywhere have the same basic motivations and will act much like we act, in polite, sensible way. You can make things even better by not bothering to screen them - by telling yourself you're being noble and egalitarian, not bothering to discover if their values and beliefs might be completely opposed to ours. And by telling them once they arrive, that Canada is an illegitimate, genocidal, racist colonial country with no common culture or values, that every institution is systemically racist, and that they shouldn't bother trying to integrate.

Are any of the expat compounds paid for by the government over there? Do you get ANY government services of any kind you don't pay for? Are there so many western expats in these countries that they sometimes flood the downtown streets so you can hardly see a local? Do they celebrate Christmas quietly in their compound or do they go out and take over main streets and loudly celebrate it there?

To start with, people who 'hate' a group due to their race are more likely to commit acts of violence as opposed to people who are merely distrustful. This is reflected in US race statistics on interracial acts of violence, which are hugely one-sided, esp sexual violence. Someone who suspects a black person is going to shoplift might watch them, but isn't going to make anything up about what they did. They'll still want black customers. People will still watch sports and TV shows with black actors. Heck, TV advertising is very lopsidedly full of black actors - which indicates people don't hate black people enough to impact their buying decisions based on advertising. Note that police conflict with the black community is disproportionate to their numbers, but not so with the Asian community. That's a reflection of the different behavior of the two communities. And importantly, their own behavior can change and so remedy the prejudice. You can't do that with people who are racist. Nothing you do makes any difference to them. How did slavery stop? People decided that it wasn't right and pressured government to stop, which did. And again, would society have tolerated the government opening up immigration to black and asian people in say the 1950s as they did in the 1970s and 1980s? Cultures change. We legalized females voting without any force or nagging from the government, too. Aside from personal familiarity (of which I have some)? Why, the mere fact the government requires preferential hiring (with no demonstrated racism) is pretty strong evidence that it's not on merit. I also notice that, somehow, the places that are most heavily into antiracism and taking the utmost care to engage in racially preferential hiring and promotion seem to also give rise to an awful lot of complaints of racism by the people being given preference. Apparently, some is not enough. They want more. So universities, the government, human rights agencies, government unions, these are the places you find squeals of complaint about racism.

Trump is a troll. A military adventure in Panama would be disastrous as there's no way to protect the canal in an era of drones. One in Greenland would be even worse. And one of the chief points his supporters often make is "At least he kept us out of wars". So I don't think these military adventurism fantasies of his will go down well with his base if he ever tried to put them in play.

How do you respond to the Prime Minister of the UK, the President of France, and the Chancellor of Germany saying multiculturalism has been a disaster in their countries?

Oh yes. Though once again I'm going to quibble with your choice of a word 'hate' has become one of the primary pejorative terms in the leftist lexicon, and it is flung at anyone who even mildly quibbles with aspects of activist demands. I would suggest most of the antipathy, dislike or distrust of Black people today is due to the suspicion that that particular community commits a disproportionate amount of crime, esp violent crime and that its members are thus threatening to be around. There's also their inferior economic performance driven, as far as I can tell, mostly by their predilection for fatherless families and lack of interest in education as compared to other communities. Thus it's within the ability of the Black community to remedy this by simply remedying their behaviour. Didn't it? Remember that Canada was already changing in the 1970s or we'd never have altered the immigration rules in the first place. And we were changing without constant nagging or lecturing or laws or human rights agencies or DEI or antiracism or any of that other garbage. What makes you think it wouldn't have continued to change? What makes you think ANY of that has made any difference whatsoever? Studies on the antiracism lectures given to people at work, for example, say they not only don't help but tend to increase resentment and racism. Maybe the cause of much of the resentment/dislike white Canadians feel towards minorities is due to resentment about such people being given unfair and unjustified preference over them by government and industry.

How are we 'better'? I can certainly think of how we're worse.
