I agree. I would suggest that many things in food production need to be re-evaluated. Maximizing profits by creating dairy herds of 18,000 is a symptom of a deeper problem.

Industrial farming is inhumane, but highly cost-effective.
Must have been a large explosion and fire. One would assume there was no fire protection.
Maybe burning down is the best thing that ever happened to that place.

Well people like to go on about the difference in price of dairy between Canada and the US. This is one of the reasons.
