So I am not following what is the point here? I work, I pay my taxes, which I don't complain about and those taxes go in society which they should. Does that not help people?

You want to be like Yeshua, and start going around talking to everyone to try to understand their struggles?

I’m sure you’re smart enough to know what I’m talking about. If not, try going to Tim Hortons around 12:35 and order a big sandwhich. Take a look at the folks behind the counter.

How’s that for “Work is purpose” for ya, fella?

      ....

Not that I want to take your enthusiasm away.

It’s just that you raise certain... categorical imperatives... that I as a true contrar find hard to ignore.

      ;)

Any workplace has unsatisfied people. Not only fast food places. and a lot of them are students that are in transit, not only grumpy folks.

Other than paying my taxes, not sure what else you want me to do. I mean, I am not going to give away my possessions or anything like that, I worked hard for everything and you and nobody else gave it to me for free.

=) Productivity and good attitude my friend, it pays off. Complaining is interest paid on the actual issue.  So why pay it? Also success is a state of mind not working in a high end office compared to working at TIm Hortons.
