  1. A flaky response from a flaky person. No value added as normal.
  2. Yeah right HA HA HA. Yes, people (travelling public which are minor) are pissed at airports but Pearson is a shithole from beginning to end and this just proves it. Like it or not, Pearson is a pimple on the ass of earths airport list. I have been to Yellowknifea nd Vancouver in the past month. Went through Pearson on one of the trips and it as much of a shit show as it has always been.
  3. Excuse?? What excuse? Like I said, who cares about Pearson? Not the people in England or Paris, or Rome or even the people in Vancouver or Edmonton. Pearson has always been a shit airport and is no better now.Just living up ti it's reputation. LOL It is Los Angeles (greater LA) with a population 1/2 that of the entire country of Canada we were discussing till you started your normal deflection routine.
  4. Backfiring? Sure. The policies are there ans]d in effect. I was talking about what Los Angeles is reverting to and what Mt Allison university is doing. Stay there and don't deflect.. Who gives a shit about Pearson? The center of the universe is always in crisis. The problem with Pearson is the people, the workers. The screw up there are not a federal issue, they are a local issue. The local workers are not stepping up to the plate and now are whining because passengers are yelling at them. Ha, self inflicted.
  5. Suck to be you and not liking the way it is. You been complaining and whining and crying for what, more than 2 year sand where has it gotten you? Oh yeah, more whining, complaining and crying. Regardless how thin, they rule you. :_)
  6. Yeah OK... says you
  7. May be correct but you keep voting them in. By "you", I mean Canadians. And when it comes to public health, the last ones they listen to are the fringe, the whiners, the conspiracy theorists.
  8. Theirs are not "opinions" theirs are policies and will be done. Yours are the "opinions". I never said I trust them. I just showed you the error of your way and thinking and perceptions. Fact is, "governments and their cronies" set policies, procedures and, processes and it is the way it is. You don't need to agree or even follow. All it means is that you will sit , by yourself, cloistered and unable to move about like the rest of them. Oh, you been there, done that? Well keep on complaining, no one with any authority is listening or cares. .
  9. To you, but not to them or a great many others. Maybe to your surprise but, health officials really don't listen to you or care about your opinion, which is all it is, an opinion.
  10. Yeah, that is why some jurisdictions, countries are doing what they are doing.... so they can be living in the now.
  11. So, ya gotta go through Mexico or Canada and good luck with that. Maybe it is a warranted public health response? Point is, shitting on Canada is nonsensical as other jurisdictions are doing what they deem necessary to keep their population healthy and safe. Being narrow minded and limited focus only proves poor understanding.
  12. The US has a policy on unvaccinated persons entering the Country. "You must be fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine to travel to the United States by plane if you are a non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or travelling to the United States on an immigrant visa)" https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/noncitizens-US-air-travel.html That tennis player Novak Djokovic cannot enter the US to play in the US Open because he is not vaccinated. He is also banned from going to Australia for, I think, it is 3 years. So, the issue really is that if they (KC Royals players) came to Canada, then they would not be able to get back home.
  13. Actually, the "new normal" is so fluid you cannot anticipate/expect/realize anything. For instance, the "new normal" in Los Angeles will be to wear masks indoors starting some time soon. Mt Allison University will require masks on premises this Fall. Another "new normal" is jobs where you are in contact with the public, you will have to wear masks and there are many others. So, there is no "new normal" just as there will never be "old normal". Things will change day to day.
  14. If ever the old adage "Pot calling the Kettle black" fit anything, that statement does LOL
  15. Fixed "In a culture of self-indulgence and entitlement, with no checks, limits or feedback from reality bad things will begin to happen. The question is not if, not when but how bad it'll be next time and how long we have until it's really bad."
  16. The only place it is still mandated is on aircraft and trains. (Not all American airlines dropped the requirement yet) We are slowly moving forward to normalcy.
  17. OK, you have your opinion, and I have mine. I just don't pigeonhole people for their personal decisions. just like opinions, everyone has a right to make their own mind up.
  18. Yes, as I said and is well known. No context was needed You said "The mask is the fig leaf of the scared and timid who either feel they need it for medical reasons, or are simply terrified " and I replied it is their decision and you do not know why. But masking is a personal choice for personal reasons and calling people, timid, scared or virtue signalling or terrified is your opinion and not necessarily correct. Yes, the virus has become just another one floating around and vaccinations will be offered just like the flu vaccination.
  19. Moot point. If masks on planes are all you have left to argue about, that's sad. Oh and, some airline have made wearing masks optional. "The Transportation Security Administration said it would no longer enforce the rule," https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/18/business/airlines-masks/index.html If a person wants to wear a mask anywhere, anytime, on an aircraft or in a store, it is their personal decision. You have no idea why they are wearing it and calling them names is pompous and arrogant of you.
  20. All I did was provide you with current information. You said federal workers still need vaccinations and you are wrong. They are back at work. Yes, ArrivCan is required for anyone wanting to enter Canada, citizens or not. As for truckers, if they are not vaccinated they cannot enter the US so getting back in is a non starter. If you are a non American, you need to provide proof of vaccination to enter the US. That includes truckers https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html Yes, masks are still required on the close quarters of aircraft and trains.
  21. Just to bring you up to date. Federal employees are back at work, no vaccination required. Truckers are not mandated by Canada. The US still has the vaccination requirement to enter. The use of ArriveCan is BS now. the rest of the world does not require such a thing.
  22. Who coached? Employers have protected themselves forever. As I said, from unions, from health issues, from the employment act, human rights tribunals and any number of lawsuits for any reason an employee or other can bring against them. They don't need top be coached, they have learned from experience. I f you walk into a workplace with a communicable disease, you will be banished by the employer or even by the employees. COVID was no different than any other issue an employer has to face. They don't need coaching, they already know how to protect themselves and the working environment amnd have known for many decades..
  23. Hey, I only respond when I get it. If Ydirt wants to fling, I fling back.
  24. MSM is as inaccurate with some things as any or media. They are also as accurate and often more so than some fringe media. Having said that, anyone that takes one source as their definitive and sole source is a fool.
  25. Like you and Ydemanias? I said my point to and about her.
