  1. The average woman is capable of doing their own risk assessment when armed with the information to do it. Most in my circle didn't know about the connection, I didn't ask how many used it for routine minor pain like back aches and such but I got the impression they considered it safe and innocuous. And maybe it is... but tell em the truth... then turn the seatbelt sign off and let em dance.
  2. Good Lord, as usual I don't know WTF you're talking about. I would want to know about it and the women I know want to know too....it seems pretty simple to me. If you don't want to know or don't think the information should be made public in an overt way then cool, stick you head in the sand or up your A$$, what ever. Frankly I don't understand the debate here... "Armed with knowledge, wisdom we seek."
  3. I think that's the point (or it's my point). Personally, I hadn't heard about this association and wouldn't have thought to go looking because it's generally assumed to be innocuous during pregnancy. I suppose it's reasonable to assume that no medication is truly innocuous during pregnancy, but in the absence of grabbing the bull by the horns and doing a deliberate search, most women would simply take Tylenol without a second thought after being told it's OK to use duing pregnancy. Realistically, I think that's how most women look at it. It's that simple really and I think most women actually want to know... my own small, anecdotal and totally useless survey suggests that the ladies I know didn't know. Put another way, if the medical community is so familiar with it I think that their patients should be too. I don't see why that's a problem... women shouldn't have to do a bunch of research and read studies. On the other hand, knowing that something isn't recommended for routine use doesn't mean it shouldn't be used as required and when required. I don't unstrap after takeoff and insist you do the landing... Doctors shouldn't assume that women will read the studies either.
  4. I don't want to put words in your mouth but it seems like your "go to argument" for regular use is actually the worst case scenario where people (i'll say like me) would actually use and even recommend Tylenol as a rational choice under the circumstances. All of this comes down to the possibility of a connection vs making a rational threat assessment... if women are aware of a possible connection I think they can be trusted to chose wisely. I look at it from the vantage point of busy pregnant women using it routinely for low level pain relief like sore knees, back pain, headaches etc that may be (or even not be) associated with pregnancy... and doing that with a feeling of confidence that may be misplaced. That confidence may be why they use it routinely and most of them would (and could) easily just "suck it up" if they where aware of a possible connection. That's really it from my perspective... If I were using it routinely for low level pain relief because I believed it to be safe and innocuous only to find out that the government sat on information suggesting it wasn't I'd be severely pi$$ed. I'd say remove "Trump bluster" and politics from the equation entirely, spend 5 minutes with Dr Google, and do the rational threat assessments most thoughtful women are easily capable of making. That's it that's all....
  5. The monkey is still dizzy from all that spinning.... he says "You're JOKING, right? LMAO"
  6. The monkey says "OOOps... you completely FORGOT to post ANY EVIDENCE so that means YOU'RE LYING. Duh"
  7. With the possible exception of Herb and Robo, everyone knew they were doing it too... and why. I was surprised at how crude the effort was, it seemed like they went all out after attending the first class on day one of an information management course. On the second day, after learning about escape valves and covering your tracks with plausible deniability they looked at each other, shrugged and said oooops.
  8. Look, I did it again... I didn't miss it and I didn't forget. When copied in its entirety the point being addressed is usually (or sometimes) hidden below the text displayed and that means it requires an extra click to access. Too much work for Herb and too intellectually challenging for Robo. As for the rest I tend to agree, but when one of the sides becomes violent and a legitimate threat to peace and stability, that needs to be addressed in a targeted manner. The longer term danger is that see-saw effect and the amplitude of the swings when administrations change, I think you (we and us) are in for a ride now. Two important things have been lost IMO: the presence of a moderate centre that calls out either side for their bad behaviour, and the overall sense of decency in the electorate at large. As an example I would cite the fact that people will watch UAV FMV (on YOUTUBE) from Afghanistan without the slightest reaction. Or scenes from other horrid events... had they actually been there (as opposed to watching on YOUTUBE) to rendered first aid, or just see it, touch it or smell it, they would have been saddled with PTSD for life. In other words, there seems to be no sense of horror at the trajectory and no clear idea which side of the PNR line we're on. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't put your kids on a plane with that sort of Capt but the Crazy Island Ferry Company seems to be immune from that sentiment. As a PS.... Any idea why that is? Other than the two things I mentioned above I'm at loss to explain it.
  9. Trouble is, the boat is now on course to Crazy Island and winning isn't (necessarily) the objective. As the voyage continues and the boat crosses PNR, it will eventually stop being about justice too... some might argue that it already has but personally, I don't think we're quite there yet. At present (and IMO) It's one more Democratic victory away.
  10. While I don't agree with your characterization, I've always thought that pursuing law-fare spiced with partisan hot sauce is a really bad idea for a variety of reasons; not the least of which is the fact that you will eventually find yourself dining on your own shi%. How many times were you warned about making the see-saw arms to long and the fulcrum point too high? Maybe you were expecting a different result... I sure wasn't. That's not a comment on the validity of these particular charges either, it's more of a general principle that invariably takes on the guise of reality when elections don't go your way. Being fearful of election outcomes that don't go your way is a prime inducement to election/political violence and I remain a bit surprised by the appetite for this stuff. For good or ill I happen to think that experience is the best teacher and knowing what you absolutely don't want is valuable. Long vacations in warm countries wearing a blue hat tends to cement the concept... all IMO of course.
  11. The details will be what the details are and when they come out you can argue lefty/righty stuff to your heart's content. I'll just have a little "Chrissy fit" and propose that the shooter was actually an illegal alien who targeted other illegal aliens because they weren't illegal enough. How do you like me now? Attacking ICE facilities and assaulting officers in the performance of their duties has become something of a sporting event now and we know damn well who's doing it.... right?. I don't happen to like the way ICE has been conducting business of late but that mostly comes down to things like rusty white vans, jeans, t-shirts, ill fitting tactical vests, bandanas over their faces etc. It's the sort of stuff that makes them look like imposters or home invasion thugs instead of sworn federal officers. I certainly understand why they're doing that... I just find it unseemly and a potential source of blue on blue engagements in the heat of the moment. In any case, this is why isolating detention centres like Alligator Alcatraz is a good idea even though it generated lots of liberal alligator tears. If it were up to me I'd be setting up as many as needed and expanding the Florida facility by leaps and bounds... and I'd be doing it post haste and in spite of the alligator tears. I'd also (hugely) increase the penalties for violently ambushing federal officers in the performance of their duties and expedite those cases through the courts in a very public and transparent manner for all to see... that's a whole separate thread though.
  12. I would say that's a given but since I don't get some of the reactions here I'l simply pose a question: Trump bluster aside, a simple google search will propose a possible (non definitive) link between the consumption of Acetaminophen and the possibility of neurodevelopment issues during pregnancy. There is no ban, no restrictions and everyone agrees that more research is required to confirm or deny the existence of a causal relationship. So: 1. Knowing that, should the administration have said nothing about it until definitive proof (one way or another) was established even though that process could take years? and; 2. Had they done that and a link was definitively proven after 2 years of research, would you then fault them for sitting on the information and not giving expectant mothers the option to exercise their own discretion? As an aside, fools making videos of themselves gobbling up Tylenol by the handful and Herbs assertion that...: "The bozo uses Goebbel's headquarters as a source of his 'facts'. Amazing people so damn gullible can never learn." ... is the domain of buffoons with advanced TDS, it's well worthy of being ignored by sensible people looking to make sensible determinations for themselves and their own situation. It's reminiscent of covid madness and Ivermectin Derangement Syndrome where no rational discussion of the biology/science behind it or anything close to tolerating personal threat assessments was in the cards.. For the record, my answers are: 1. Hell NO 2. Hell yes... Herb would be personally leading the charge and suggesting that Trump deliberately conducted medical experiments on pregnant women (sorry Herb that would be "pregnant people" for you) whilst connecting those dots directly back to Hitler. Clearly a manufactured pic but note the "high vis" jacket. It should be mandatory for confirmed lunatics with advanced TDS before allowing them to be out in public unescorted. Got yours yet Herb?
  13. Even current stealth technology lacks your gift for deflection. The monkey seems to think that: "You're SO STUPID you don't even know when you've BEEN PROVEN WRONG."
  14. Yes indeed, and I haven't thought of that in ages... I remember it being a thing in the 80s and 90s but not so much after that. On any number of occasions I've given US colleagues Canadian Flag patches for their backpacks prior to them going on deployment leave... (LTA for Canadians). On a couple of occasions I scored some good cigars because of it.
  15. Looks like the sequel to "Covidi0ts on Ivermectin Street." Tune in tomorrow when Herb asks the most pressing medical question in the neighbourhood... "are you a horse?" Apparently the issue is a possible link between Acetaminophen use during pregnancy and neurodevelopment issues like autism and ADHD in children. It seems the jury is out though due to a lack of consistency/replication in the various studies so it was deemed that more investigation is required. Luckily though, now that you've set the record straight, we'll all just relax and forgo looking into the issue any further and consider the matter closed. Thank you for your service...
  16. Yes, I can smell wet monkey fur from here... get out of the rain!
  17. The monkey in the mirror says: "Their ACTIONS are FAR MORE IMPORTANT than what ANY NOBODY CALLS THEM. Duh"
  18. Jimmy is not RETURNING to ALL ABC affiliates SO you LIED about HIS return>>> See how bloody silly that sounds when someone else does it?
  19. There was a lot of crying about WH interaction with the FCC by virtue of the EO signed in the first quarter of the year. It wasn't conservatives shedding those tears either and for the record, many were/are opposed to the EO in principle. My opposition was always in the form of a "what if" question... like what if the Democrats do this too? IMO, that would be a disaster for free speech. Trump bluster aside, the fact that this was (mostly) rescinded speaks to the lack of direct WH intervention as opposed to it being causal and I think the only thing worse than the EO itself is the hateful rhetoric that spawned it. Your quoted comment above is short sighted IMO because the sentiment can easily work both ways as soon as see-saws are installed in political playgrounds. It's actually the appetite for this stuff that concerns me, your own words will likely come back to haunt you in the fullness of time... and I don't want to see that happen. Not because I care about loud mouthes on anonymous political forums either, but because it serves the interests of no one and stands as something the founding fathers would have considered "an inducement to violence," they repeatedly used the word "war" in Federalist Papers though and "violence" was simply an editorial inclusion of my own making for domestic purposes.
  20. This particular monkey is pretty quick with liar accusations.... you may have been right about the mirror. Sinclair and Nexstar ABC affiliates will be preempting the show. https://www.foxnews.com/media/sinclair-preempt-jimmy-kimmels-show-despite-disney-ending-its-suspension I would have previously considered this story breaking news (as opposed to a lie) but now I'm inclined to quote the "monkey in the mirror" when he looks at his own image and screeches at everyone within earshot: "You're LYING as USUAL".
  21. You missed the point and you know it. Bills been doing that show for well over 20 years, probably pushing 25. The forum monkey says: "Why do you keep believing you have answers and then display your complete IGNORANCE?"
  22. This doesn't tell the whole story but The Toronto Police Service most wanted is linked below. https://www.tps.ca/organizational-chart/specialized-operations-command/detective-operations/investigative-services/homicide/most-wanted/ Years ago, people familiar with some of the cultures suggested that if we wanted to import people from specific areas that the immigrants would require extra support and that the support required came at a cost. The also warned not to ghettoize these folks and warehouse them vertically in ethnic enclaves. They never said don't do it, they said be cautious and be thoughtful about the "how" side of the equation. They were ignored, they were vilified, called racist xenophobes, white nationalists and any number of other names that people like Herb can think up after a 6 pack... in short, we collectively cheaped out and failed to do it right. Herbs not going to believe that and I know he won't track down the mothers of the folks in the pictures... if he did, he'd see a common theme developing. As long as the Herbs of the world dance naked on rooftops in the moonlight and refuse to acknowledge that they were (at least) partially responsible for those pictures turning out the way they did, it will continue and get worse as momentum and collection rate increases. It doesn't get better by itself...
  23. Except that: ROBOMONKEY NEVER spoke about it, so all allegations against ROBOMONKEY have NO EVIDENCE he was involved in LOOKING at HIMSELF in A mirror. Duh. It could be that he simply has: "NOTHING BETTER than a gish gallop of NON EXPERT BULLSHIT and try to pretend that means something." In any case it's fun "Just to see the clown draw really STUPID conclusions with DRIVEL." ... and argue with himself at length. "Like "turbo charge the merg" Here he is delivering the speech Robo wrote for him:
  24. A sad ending to what should have been a happy event, but that was the point of it IMO. Early days though so we will see what the true motive was as the evidence unfolds. https://www.foxnews.com/us/witness-says-new-hampshire-country-club-shooter-yelled-free-palestine-during-wedding-violence-ap In the mean time though (based on names only) it looks like a non Palestinian shooting other non Palestinians for not being Palestinian enough. Makes sense, right Chrissy?
