There are many more things our government could be doing. We could be providing incentives and jobs to recover and re-purpose plastics instead of going back to use paper products for grocery bagging, etc. We could be hiring many people and providing employment. We could be organising and employing more people to replenish more trees and help re-forest areas that have been burnt down due to drought and disease, instead of complaining about carbon producing industries so much. Trees and plants are great carbon sinks. This is using Mother Nature to help and that is a powerful force. It provides livelihood and is a positive way to help the environment.

Argus you have that right. That is why Technology and the impact Canada can have and has had to help these Coal producers and users is so valuable. Trudeau is basically stopping all that. This is one reason he needs to go.

When the Elite (Liberals) and corporations can hide their fortunes across borders without real accountabilities to their country of origin, then yes, those foreign countries along with the Liberal Elites drain the rightful wealth, fabric, and structure from the country they should be responsible to.

Politics and the fight for World Economical dominance of course is making this a joke. No foreign country should be dictating to us in Canada what or especially how we fight any impacts on the climate. We do have alot of forests that use C02 and our fresh water reserves are second to none. We use clean technology in the production of fuel. We are leaders in the Tech advances of that. We share the information so others can use it which is contributing more than any nation on earth. We do not need to punish our own people as the Liberals are doing. Time for them to go.

Stifling the Canadian Economy will not help control or impact the Climate. It will only help other countries get ahead of us and produce more pollution. If you want real results then as a good example you only need to look at Technology Advancements and the sharing of knowledge such as Sask Power Coal Carbon Capture Technology shared with a host of major polluters in other countries such as China, USA, etc. Because of the scope of this beneficial knowledge sharing and Tech Advancements making it feasible again, that has a real positive and lasting impact for the environment.

It is sick to think that Dad's who don't support their children after getting a woman pregnant are called "Dead Beat" and women who look down at this are the same ones that are allowed and are killing their children in the womb when they just feel that they want to. I think both of these happenings are terrible, but the killing of an innocent is much worse. Morality is not something you can invent on your own, but it can be found when you seek it with the help of Jesus Christ.

And the LIARS (Social Left) are censoring Right opinions and their reasoning is voting influence, etc. That is such a bunch of Hog Wash. When in fact it is foreign interests and politics taking advantage of socialist and environmental naive people who have no idea they are being used as pawns.

He does not believe (nor do I) in a censorship group that goes far beyond what you were saying that they had censored. Your conclusion that it is our society making these decisions is also false. It is a small group of Reporters who do it for political and personal gain. We have several voices in our society that need to be heard. Don't confuse a person's beliefs with hate. When violence does occur I can agree with you that there is no room for that, but that goes for both sides of an issue. People can agree to disagree. But hiding the truth and not letting people express themselves is very harmful. It especially brainwashes the young.

I disagree. The Free Lunch is there. The problem really is that the government throws money (tax payers monies) to the Natives, and the Chiefs (which are many) are in control of the funding for their own people and have no accountability. No one really knows what really happens to all of that funding. That is one issue. The disappearance of Indian women has nothing to do with what you are saying. Genocide does not fit in there. They all get alot of free stuff no one else is entitled to so that is another issue as I have stated. It makes them expect things without earning them. Yes we have gained the value of land and real estate. But they have gained much more. Knowledge, Technology, etc. It is time for them to move on from the Past. And there is no arguing that they have the same privileges as all Canadians but they actually have more.

The term Genocide for this issue of Native women gone missing is very much a lie. The problem is that the lifestyle that those particular women chose is what led to these issues. They have a lot of issues and violence amongst themselves. They would never admit to that either. By lifestyle I mean the laid back lifestyle they have and they do not have the same level of responsibilities that non-natives need in order to survive as they get a lot of stuff for free. That then encourages waste, no appreciation for what you have, lack of pride, and a host of other issues. I mean anyone being treated this way would have these same issues, native or non-native. Subsidizing the natives, free education, free pharmaceuticals, free help, I would hardly call this Genocide. The Natives actually have alot big families because of the assistance they get. Non-natives don't have that luxury so the families are of more modest size. There again because of these policies, I can hardly see this as Genocide. It's more of a lifestyle problem and alot of it within their own social environment.

If the Liberals want to do something then they should stop the ridiculous qualifying regulations for working or retired people to purchase a home and provide some tax incentive relief when purchasing one. Property Taxes and Utilities also are out of control for home owners and you do not get good value for the money that you spend. Renting it seems may be a better option for a lot of people because of all of that. This country is so backwards.

What gets me is the shameful Television Media we have. They seem to go along with the results of these inquiries and there is never any contrasting opinions brought forward about the conclusions that were reached and details on how these conclusions were reached. If one does dare to challenge results like these then you seem to get labelled by the Left. So much for freedom of speech or thought (all of the things our country in the past had fought for). Shame on Canada!!!!

That is the problem Dougie. It doesn't matter what sector you come from. It will affect anyone in the public sector who has worked hard for their defined benefit plan and stuck with it for their career. It would be Crowns and Federal Employees to begin with and then others down the line and could expand to others in the Private sectors. The point is a person who has dedicated and worked all of their lives and earned the Benefit might otherwise have not done so had they known and could have worked elsewhere in the private sector earning other benefits and tax advantages to get ahead. If the Government and the companies had any honor, honesty, loyalty, and keep their word then this should not even be considered. Otherwise you can throw fairness and trust out the window and it is already apparent that the Liberal Govenment and their so called Leader need to be thrown out that same window come election time.

The Liberals are attempting to legislate pension changes for federal and crown employees. They want to steal these peoples hard earned pension that was a contractual agreement between them and their employers for their pensions earned and the pensions they have today. In other words in my opinion they want to take away these employees hard earned pensions. It is about time to remove Justin and the Liberals from office. I do not respect Bullies. By forcing these pensions from a Defined Benefit plan to an inferior plan it puts the funds that the pensioner worked all their lives to achieve in jeopardy. How does that protect Senior Citizens and respect families who have worked hard and earned a living for themselves and their family? They deserve better!! Instead the main focus appears to be focused on funding out of country issues for other citizens in other countries, mismanaging domestic economic policy and development. I believe this is creating division and polarising Canadians. This Country deserves MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!!!

The Canadian News media reported that CEO's averaged 7 percent increases this year. Where are the regulations to finally limit their take so that the hard working middle class can share some of that deserved wealth. No wonder the Economy in Canada is going flat. Canadians deserve it because they do not have the Will to tackle a real issue like this. Its' just complain about it and do nothing. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah! Millennials and everyone else to should wake up and protest things that really matter so this country can move forward.

We have no faith with this new Liberal program. How is that helping struggling people who have worked and invested their lives in this country? It certainly does not help them. It will however help people that are new to this country who have not invested anything here up to now. This government policies are unacceptable. They show no appreciation for people that have already invested so much into this country and have been slapped in the face! Good point on the BC fisheries. We can't be scared of "what ifs". Moving forward requires effort and faith. We already have a pipeline in place but are just increasing its capacity. Precautions are obviously in place and are the highest priority. If a spill were to occur then we need to have strategies in place to mitigate it. While we argue about all of this, some other country is eating our lunch while we sit back and fade away into history.
