This is the reason why another attack by Muslims against either war cirminal nation will be revenge. Sadly, Canada being a part of Nato, the same shoe fits.     You should weigh your somewhat exaggerated complaints against China against the US alternative for Canada. How can they ever compare with the US which has started wars throughout the world and slaughtered so many millions based on lies and false pretenses? 40 US wars of aggression since WW2 alone! The superpower we need to be wary about is the US; their track record should tell all the Conservatives that at least. They need to know that the difference in Chinese people is no more than skin deep.

    It's just startling to hear how the Trump mentality and agenda is starting to be adopted by the Conservatives. Are Canadians as ready as Americans to express their racism and hate as the Americans obviously are. It's certainly something the Cons have always been quick to pick up on and with which to appeal to Canadians!. Many of the threads on this forum reek of it! Hitler used the tactic successfully on the Jews. It's all about putting the blame for everything on a minority or minorities. The lowlife rightists in the US are hooking into the game perfectly, by following the Trump lead to hate black people, Hispanics, and anyone else who is not a pure white native born Americans. Here on this forum, the more the Con supporters say, the more they blow their cover.

    China can have a super cargo carrier at Vancouver with a load of lettuce three says before the leaves wilt. There is absolutely no need for close trading partners any longer. And especially the US which puts Canada in danger of revenge attacks against US wars and the slaughter of millions that go with it. 40 US wars of aggression since WW2 alone. Is it possible that some Canadians are appreciating the significance of that sort of slaughter? Maybe try thinking of your own children and grand children being machine gunned down by some blood thirsty American?

    Just do like they do south of the border. Throw all of them who don't have white skin in jail. Those nazis see red if rehabilitation is even mentioned. So they have the higher incarceration rate in the world and by far the most expensive. It's Canada that needs the border wall, not Mexico, to keep US light artillery off of our streets before we become more like them.

    Trump is an example of conservatism out of control and which has become fascism. Little Scheer has the same pllans for Canada and will become just like Trump if given the opportunity. First to go will be our universal health care system. The Cons favourite think tank, the Fraser Institute, already have the plans drawn up for US style for-profit heatlh care for Canada, under the guise of a two-tiered system.

    If you don't understand that US might alone makes right then you're out of touch with reality. Canada has been blackmailed by the US too many times for us to not have learnt the lesson that we must broaden our trading horizons. Indeed, the rest of the world needs to isolate them.

    Better that Canada separate itself completely with the US. If the US ever gets a sane government maybe we can resume trade on our conditions. Otherwise, we need to wean ourselves off of depending on the US and deal more with countries like China. It will also allow Canada to take the high road and not have to be so closely aligned with the US, the most warmongering aggressor nation in the world today, by far. Canada doesn't need to suffer revenge attacks for their slaughter of millions since WW2 alone.

    Russia also appears to be one of the leaders in technology too. And considering that Canada will never have any need to fight against Russia, they could have the best choice. We can't say the same against the US, now that they are fighting the world on the economics scene. And too, what are the chances of Canada needing to take part in another US war of aggression? In Venezuela? Iran? Syria?

    Blaming our native people for problems the white population created for them is racism. It's something that more and more Canadians allow themselves to express openly now since the Trump example in that country to our south. Just another reason why Canada must diversify our trade relations away from 'it'. Disgusting!

If the US wasn't waging wars of aggression throughout the world in foreign lands, Khadr would have had no need to become a freedom fighter. Canada abided by international law and paid Khadr his due. The US is not the law, it is the lawbreaker.

    Cuba, North Korea, and China have one thing in common and it is that all 3 are intended targets of US aggression. None are guilty of the 40 US wars of aggression that can be pinned on the US And they are also peaceful communist regimes. Trump is a psychopath and should be taken down as quickly as possible before he gets an opportunity to start WW3. Communism is no longer the enemy to fear, if in fact it every was? The Russians aren't coming and they never really were. The US is laying plunder to the small countries of the world and is the evil aggressor. Canada needs to move away from that sort of evil behaviour as quickly as possible. Scheer is best described as a Nazi in scheep's clothing. If he ever is forced to reveal the true Con agenda, Canadians would be horrified. Trump is pretending to pull troops out of Syria but the US never follows through on promises of troop reductions in aggregrate. US troops will be moved from one victim country to another. Have you any idea at all of how many troops the US has in foreign countries throughout the world, and just how many countries it occupies? You at least seem to be getting it right with the suggestion of Canada not needing a military.

I see your avatar is some sort of 'takeoff' on the Trump ballcap theme which appeals so much to 'that' sort of people. Does that mean you're a Trump supporter or a Scheer supporter. Surely you have something to say about that?
