  1. I have no problem if accounts of criminals blockading the border and illegally occupying Ottawa were frozen.  Wish they would give as much attention to the criminals who are committing illegal acts daily in cities in B.C. and being arrested and released right away countless times.  One guy smashed a store owner's window with a sledge hammer, was arrested, and sentenced to ONE DAY in prison and a year's probation.  Some of them have been arrested dozens and even hundreds of times and never spent any real time in prison.  What a farce!

The NDP in answer to mayors of cities in B.C.'s concerns, said they appointed someone to study the crime issue for four months.  There you have it.  The complete uselessness of the BC NDP.   I can almost guarantee that the BC NDP will not last past the next election.  Unfortunately that is not for several more long years of criminals ruining the life of law-abiding citizens.

You can see some of the light sentences given out for assault at this website:

Oops... going to hell again... God damn it

I thought you might be more enlightened about the Bible.  Obviously you never studied it.  However, I will not try to refute the nonsense in that comment as it does the job itself.

Do you recognize that your source of the Judeau-Christian-Muslim religions is from what is deemed 'myth' of the Egyptians? That is, your own majority would deem the ancient Egyptians as irrational 'nutcases', using today's terminology, yet not recognize that the whole source of the Jewish roots that is interpreted as shared among all of your historical religions came directly from those like Akenaten and Ramses dynasty? If you doubt the Egyptian roots that gave you your religion, should this not make you a relative 'atheist' of the most traitorous kind to your real 'superior' being?

That is a very poor, amateurish attempt to discredit the Bible.  First of all the Old Testament, King James Version, is based on the Hebrew Bible called the Tanakh.  The New Testament is based on over 5,000 copies of Greek manuscripts or part of manuscripts from over 1,000 years ago.  The Old Testament was originally written over a period of 1,500 years and completed over 2,000 years ago.  The original New Testament books were written in the first 100 years after Christ and copies were made repeatedly through the centuries.  There is no connection to ancient Egyptians.  Anyone who studied the Old Testament would know a large part of it includes the history of the Jewish nation from the time of the father of the Jews, Abraham as recorded in Genesis.   Nothing to do with the Egyptians other than the 400 years the Jews were in captivity in Egypt.  If the Old Testament had come from Egypt, why would it be a history of the Jewish nation where they lived in ancient Israel?  That Egypt claim doesn't make sense at all.  Exodus describes how they were rescued and escaped captivity miraculously.  The Jews made and kept very careful copies of the Old Testament Scriptures which were passed down through the ages.

There is some information at this website although I have not really studied it as I don't have time at the moment.   It does say in one part:

    Quote

The archaeological record evidences the existence of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah as centers of commerce geographically located where Genesis indicates. A trade list from Ebla, a thriving commercial center at the time the Bible specifies for the existence of the five Cities of the Plain mentioned in Genesis 14, records the names of the cities, spelled exactly as they are found in the Hebrew Bible. Furthermore, evidence points to their destruction through earthquake activity in which layers of earth were hurled into the air, accompanied by intense heat that molded together layers of sedimentary rock and severe burning, probably when a basin of oil beneath the Dead Sea ignited and erupted. Brimstone (bituminous pitch) is also found plentifully in the area, along with abundant salt, sulfur, and natural gas deposits.[6] An explosion of the natural gas and oil lifted the salts and sulfur and bitumen high into the air, causing them to rain upon the city, destroying it. One portion of the falling deposits fell upon Lot’s wife, who had stopped fleeing to look back longingly upon the city, turning her into a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26).[7]

Careful stratigraphic excavation of houses in the Cities of the Plain evidences that they were destroyed by fire that started on the roof and spread to the interior when the roof collapsed, supporting Genesis 19:24: “Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven.”[8]

The Biblical record of the existence and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is accurate.   Unquote

That is particularly interesting because it goes a long way back, several thousand years before Christ and the account is recorded in Genesis.

Archaeological Evidence the Old Testament / Hebrew Bible is God's Word (faithsaves.net)

As I have not had time to study this article right now, I cannot say I would agree with everything in it.  It is not infallible, but may have useful information.  Only the Bible is infallible, the King James Version of 1611.   If you are going to comment on it, it might be wise to study is and learn something about what you are talking about.

I always like to point out that the problem of evil is insurmountable. If there is a god, then we are all in deep trouble because it is an evil being and want's us to suffer.

I have already answered that false claim a number of times on here.  If you are serious about wanting to know the truth about it, just put it in a search engine.  "Why is there evil in the world"  Or some such similar wording.   Yes, most of the world is in deep trouble because they will not listen to what the Bible says and what many preachers have been preaching through history.

"19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. {in them: or, to them} 20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: {so…: or, that they may be} 21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.      God has stated "thou shalt not kill".  This is also a self-evident truth that has been universally believed down through the ages.  One does not have to believe in the God of the Bible to understand that commandment and agree with it.  It's common sense.

Because the God of the Bible is the true God and has been the main religion of the western world for centuries.  Other religions are the main religions of other countries, like Hinduism in India, Buddhism in southeast Asia, Islam in the middle east, and part of Africa.  One must actually study the Bible and the differences between the religions if he wants to know what it is all about.  It is nothing I can explain in detail on here.  Google will also explain it.  I have tried to explain some things from time to time on here but it usually doesn't convince anyone.  One must be truly interested in learning and use a search engine to find information.

  7. I was going to write a brief to the House of Commons committee which is considering medical assistance in dying for the mentally ill, but I decided against it after composing the brief.  They have a system where they accept briefs or letters from individuals up until a certain date, only a few days from now.  It is in it's third reading and looks like it is going through.  But I realized my name would be on record and the people in the committee and government are not trustworthy as they are most likely secular humanists and anti-God and anti-bible.  Therefore, since my letter would be Bible-based, and argue what I believe God thinks about it all, it would be like sending a letter to a bunch of wackos, people hostile to righteousness and biblical values.  Not a wise idea.  I don't see any possibility any good could come of it.  Existing legislation and policy proves the government is anti-God and anti-Christian.  The PM proves almost daily they have no use or respect for Judeo-Christian values.  So I don't see any use of trying to deal with them.  I don't see much hope for the future of this country.  It is on a downward spiral.  God calls individuals out of the world to become his sons and daughters and be not a part of this evil world system.

  8. The theory of evolution is anti-science, anti-reason, and anti-God.  It is dogma and not based on science at all.  Here is a short video clip showing the complexity of the inner workings of a cell demonstrating the complexity of the most basic life form and showing it required an immensely intelligent designer-Creator.

  9. The grave mistake the so-called "freedom" convoy and other protesters make in my view is they do not understand freedom has always had it's limits.  For example, I don't have the right to break government health regulations or mandates if they say I must wear a mask in a certain venue or I must be vaccinated to enter a certain location.  The reason for the regulations and mandates were and are to protect other people.  People who don't accept that are being very self-centred and inconsiderate of other people.  That's all there is to it.

Evolution is not against creation. They can go together.  They are billions of billions of factors precisely fine tuned so that one planet in the Universe comparatively smaller than the size of a microscopic item to earth can support life. This cannot be an accident. Everything does not come out of nothing.  Only nothing comes out of nothing. Earth was fine tuned with the vital ingredients over millions of years to develop and sustain life and life was evolved from microscopic form into more advance life form and humans.. Some suggest aliens created life on earth but then this starts a vicious circle as who created aliens!!!

There is a good chance there is a creator as some religions are suggesting. Though if true one can only rise to heaven through Christ. There is however no answer to this question. If there is indeed a God his inaction to sufferings around the world is inexcusable. The evil is ruling. The murderers and dictators stay in power. Plenty of murder and rape takes place and most are getting away from punishment. Too many sick and hungry in the world and too much pain, hunger disease and sufferings. Where is the kind and forgiving powerful God described in the holy books?

This article does answer your questions from a biblical or Christian point of view.

    quote

    I. What are the causes of suffering?

    A. Sinful people cause some suffering directly (lying, anger, divorce, drugs, crime, etc.).

    B. Sin causes suffering indirectly (because of sin this earth is corrupted, deteriorating, painful and evil – Genesis 3:14-19; 4:1-15; Romans 8:20-22).

    C. Conclusion: God is not the cause of suffering; He is the author of good (James 1:13-17).

Some people conclude that since God made everything, He made evil too.

But St. Augustine’s reasoning seems to be correct:

    1. God is the author of everything in the created universe.

    2. Evil is not a thing or a substance; it is a privation or lack in things (blindness is lack of sight, pain is lack of health, hate or murder is lack of love).

    3. Therefore God did not create evil.

II. Why doesn’t God end all evil immediately?

To end evil God would have to destroy the cause of evil – people. In His good plan for people (see below), it is therefore not good to end all evil immediately.

III. Why doesn’t God make people unable to cause suffering?

To do that, God would have to take away our ability to choose. But choice – free will – is a good thing. In order to love, you must be able to choose to love. Forced love is not love. So to have a universe that included love, God had to make us with choice, which includes the choice not to love – and that makes sin, evil, pain and suffering possible.

IV. Why does God allow natural disaster and disease?

It is a part of a sinful world. God lowered the perfection of creation (from the perfect garden of Eden) to match the spiritual state of those who live here (Romans 8:20-22). God graciously has sustained people on this earth (allowing them to reproduce, to develop governments and systems to deal with the effects of sin). He has graciously sustained the fallen creation (providing sun and rain for food to sustain life – Colossians 1:17). But the natural effect of a fallen creation is that even good things can have evil byproducts (water can drown someone; gravity can kill someone; lightening can burn and kill).

    V. Why doesn’t God stop evil acts that cause innocent people to suffer?

Why doesn’t God miraculously intervene to stop evil acts if He is all-loving and all-powerful? Why doesn’t He catch the drunk driver’s car that is going to crash into a bus? Why doesn’t He deflect the murderer’s bullets? The person asking doesn’t actually want God to stop all their evil acts. They don’t want to be invisibly gagged every time they’re about to say something hurtful; they don’t want to stub their toe when they try to kick the dog. They just think it would be good if God stopped certain evil acts or just the evil acts of others. But that would make life impossible. There would be no freedoms, no regularity and no personal responsibility.

VI. Why doesn’t God let us choose to get out of this suffering?

The answer is that He does. That is the gracious, loving response of God to the evil condition of this sinful world.

    A. God has provided for personal salvation – the promise of eternal life in heaven where there is no suffering (Revelation 21:4). One must simply put his trust in the payment for sin God provided through Christ’s death on the cross (John 3:16-18; Acts 10:38-43: etc.).

    B. God has provided for the earth’s redemption (Romans 8:18-23; 2 Peter 3:10,13; Revelation 21:1).

VII. Why can’t we get out of this evil world of suffering immediately?

We don’t know why God’s timetable is what it is. We can see why He couldn’t deliver Adam and Eve immediately – God first had to provide redemption through Christ. The world continues today in part because there are more people yet that will come to have eternal salvation.

We do know that God is causing all things to work together for good to those who love God (Romans 8:28).

VIII. What are some good reasons for suffering?

    A. It enables us to cope in a sinful world.

    B. It teaches us to turn to God for solution.

    C. It produces character improvement (holiness, maturity, etc. James 1:24) which in turn produces eternal rewards (crown of life – James 1:12).

    D. It gives God the opportunity to show His grace, love and care for our sinful condition.

    1. Pain can keep us from a greater physical evil. A burnt finger warns us to avoid worse danger.

    2. Pain can keep us from greater moral evil. A spanking does that.

    1. For eternal deliverance from evil – Heaven

    2. For temporal deliverance from evil – Safety or holiness

    3. For spiritual strength to endure suffering (2 Cor. 12:7-10)

    1. Through Christ’s life and death for our sake (Romans 5:6-8).

    2. Through providing a place where there is no more suffering, sin or death (1 Corinthians 15:51-55; Revelation 21:4).

Why Is There Suffering? | Bible.org

It should be said that according to the Bible, the present age is only for a certain period of time.  Nobody is getting away with anything.  God will judge evil and will be returning to earth to establish his rule in his time.  So your concern that people are getting away with evil is unwarranted.  Nobody gets away with evil.

Evolution and creation are contradictory points of view because Genesis in Ch1. of the Bible describe God creating the universe in six days.  There is no evolution.  Evolution has been debunked by countless articles and videos.  Check creation.com

There has to be some certainly about things in life, the world, and the future and the KJ Bible brings that certainty.

I read your post which I believe have summarized the articles.

I have been to a number of bible studies in my student life and I was never convinced beyond reasonable doubt or even close to beyond reasonable doubt to be of any kind of proof.

So assuming your legend on Adam and Eve is indeed true. You justified many sufferings in the world for what Adam and Eve did!!!!!!!! Why should billions of their children pay a price for their sin or mistake if they committed it. If true then it represents God as revengeful and unmerciful,  I don't believe this is true.

My understanding of the Bible is that Adam and Eve, as our first parents were representative of their descendents, the human race.  They rebelled against God by eating the forbidden fruit and fell from their previous relationship with God.  They were tempted by the serpent (Satan) and fell for it.  Consequently they received a corrupt, fallen nature as a result of their rebellion.  As a result every descendent receives this same corrupt fallen nature.  But we also have free will.  Man's nature being corrupt and evil, often chooses to do evil.  God could have chosen to create robots, but what would be the point of that?  He gave man a free will.  Man chooses to do evil, not God.  But God sent his Son to pay for man's sin and by his mercy, offers grace to fallen man to be forgiven.  It is up to you and each individual to accept God's offer of free grace and be forgiven.   That doesn't sound like a revengeful or unmerciful God to me.   God is full of mercy and ready to forgive, but each individual must take the step of faith to believe in his Son and his sacrifice for sins.

And what is Adam and Eve creation? A fact or a legend or story said in a book (bible)?

Why believe the Bible?  Here are some answers.

Why should I believe the Bible? | GotQuestions.org

The Bible claims to be the word of God and proves it.

Why Believe the Bible? | SES

"The Bible consistently claims to be the word of the one and only true God (Genesis 1:1; Revelation 22:20-21). From beginning to end, prophets appear in its pages claiming to speak the word of God. They not only make this claim, but they offer multiple miracles to their listeners and multiple prophecies to their readers to back up what they are saying is from God. The miracles they do are clearly in the category of what only God can do. They create life from non-life (Exodus 8:19) and raise the dead (1 Kings 17:17-24). They include predictions hundreds of years in advance (Daniel 9:25-27). Such signs are unmistakable from the true God. Such miracles and prophecies are used to back up the spoken and written word from the prophets (see Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, Jesus and Paul). The true God would never allow real miracle or prophecy to be done through a false teacher or false religion. So, the religion that contains true miracles is the true religion. This is what separates Christianity from other religions and their books.

The Bible is historically accurate about Jesus’s life, death and resurrection.

We know the Bible is historically accurate because it was faithfully copied from the originals and the content, what it says occurred, happened much of which can be verified. The number of hand-written manuscripts is more than enough to establish a text that is faithful to the originals. These manuscripts show a direct line very close to the time the originals were written and the vast numbers (over 5,000) allows experts to compare them and come to the most reliable reading. It is a true saying, that if we are to doubt the text of the Bible, we must throw out all the works of antiquity as well."

I have a new book which I have not had time to read yet, but the title pretty well answers your comment.

"Darwin's Universe:   From Nothing, By Nothing, For Nothing  -- Survival for Nothing"  by Yan T. Wee.

This refers to the fact evolutionists have no explanation for why man is here.  To them the universe and mankind were just some kind of cosmic accident.  That makes absolutely no sense at all.  If you believe in the theory of evolution, you have a serious problem because then you have a number of impossible questions to answer.  First how did a complex universe suddenly appear out of nothing?   Secondly, why?  Why does the universe and mankind exist?  Evolutionists have no answer because apart from God there is no answer.

    quote

We are just walking molecules, birthed through a cosmic accident, dancing to the music of our DNA, and destined to disappear in a cosmic blink - nothing less, nothing else.

And when we look to science and evolution for answers, all we get is a blank look.  Life has no real purpose dude - it is about the survival of the genes in us - feeding, fending, fleeting and fathering - just live through it and get it over.  Our final destination is the hole in the ground.

But is it true?  Perhaps we are:  From Someone, By Someone, For Someone.  Perhaps there is an unexplored and awesome universe beyond the Darwinian world of survival for nothing.   Unquote

The question is are we here as just a (Darwinian) cosmic accident or is there a reason for our existence?

The question is why we have so much sufferings in the world and the powerful God does nothing about it?.

On another point, God himself may be kind and powerful however, it is the mankind who has made evil out of him. The messengers never said beat up the women with bad hijab (likr they do in islamic republic) or deprive women from equal rights and education (like in Taliban Afghanistan) but it is the mullahs who for their own power do all these not for God. It was the Christian priests and not the God who abuse their power and cause so much sufferings in Europe in 16th to 18th centuries.

Correct with a few clarifications I would add.   God created the universe according to Genesis.  God is transcendent or separate from the creation.  The creation is not God and God is not a part of creation.  He is a separate spirit and existed through eternity past before he created the universe.

The question of suffering is answered by the fall of man when Adam and Eve rebelled against God.  The universe became a corrupt fallen place.

Why Is There Suffering? | Bible.org

The so-called "Christian" priests , who abused their power and caused suffering, may not have been Christian as they were not following the Bible but rather a false religious system.  The Holy Roman Inquisition went on for four hundred years, but the false religious system existed far longer than that.  When the Roman Empire collapsed in the early centuries, the Papacy or Holy Roman Empire took over and controlled controlled kings and countries for centuries.

  18. "Pantheism is the belief that reality is identical with divinity,[1] or that all things compose an all-encompassing, immanent god or goddess.[2][3] Pantheist belief does not recognize a distinct personal god,[4] anthropomorphic or otherwise, but instead characterizes a broad range of doctrines differing in forms of relationships between reality and divinity.[5] Pantheistic concepts date back thousands of years, and pantheistic elements have been identified in various religious traditions. The term pantheism was coined by mathematician Joseph Raphson in 1697[6][7] and has since been used to describe the beliefs of a variety of people and organizations.

Pantheism was popularized in Western culture as a theology and philosophy based on the work of the 17th-century philosopher Baruch Spinoza, in particular, his book Ethics.[8] A pantheistic stance was also taken in the 16th century by philosopher and cosmologist Giordano Bruno.[9] Ideas of pantheism existed in South and East Asian religions (notably Sikhism, Hinduism, Sanamahism, Confucianism, and Taoism) and in Tasawwuf (Sufism) within Islam."

This is one of the main differences between Biblical Christianity and eastern religions such as Hinduism and the other is eastern religions.  That is, they believe in a multitude of gods and think that the material universe is identical with the gods..  While the Bible teaches God is a distinct personal God who can be known in a personal way and who knows each individual who establishes a relationship with his Son in a personal way.  This God is not a part of the material universe as in Pantheism of eastern religions, but is transcendent from it since he created it.  It is important to understand the nature of these religions if one is going to engage in meaningful discussion about their beliefs on subjects like reincarnation, which is unknown to the Bible or the God of the Bible.

  19. Quote  Part 2:

Since Hinduism does not share a unified system of beliefs, all that can be done here is to identify its main concepts in comparison with the Bible.

God: In Hinduism, God (Brahman) is believed to be unknowable, the one impersonal, ultimate, spiritual reality. Hindus claim that there are 330 million gods. The Bible, in contrast, teaches there is one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Spirit—who can be personally known. God is all-powerful and omnipresent, but is not monistic (God as everything).

Creation: Hindus accept various forms of pantheism and reject the Christian concept of creation where God is separate from his creation (Genesis 1:1). According to Hinduism, Brahman alone exists; everything (the universe, earth, man, rocks, animals, fire, etc.) is ultimately an illusion (maya). Brahman caused the illusion of creation. There is no beginning or conclusion to creation, only endless repetitions or cycles of creation and destruction. History has no value since it is based on an illusion.

Humanity: The eternal soul (atman) of each human is supposedly a manifestation of Brahman mysteriously trapped in the physical body. A person must live repeated lives or reincarnations called Samsara before the soul can be liberated (moksha) from the body. On the other hand, the Christian God says each person is important. God created all people, including you (Genesis 1:26-27), so you could freely choose to know and love Him (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10).

Sin and Salvation: Hindus have no concept of rebellion against a holy God. There is no clear plan of salvation in Hinduism. Moksha (freedom from infinite being and final self-realization of the truth) is the goal of existence. Yoga and meditation are taught by gurus (religious teachers) and are supposedly ways to attain moksha. Hindus hope and strive to eventually leave the cycle of reincarnation. In contrast, Christianity teaches that one's personality, soul, body, and mind are important to God and unique. God desires to have a personal relationship with every person, not have people become a part of Him.

Jesus: Jesus is not seen as the Messiah, God's Son, or as physically resurrected. He was simply a man who realized his divine nature. In contrast, the Bible presents Jesus as God's perfect Son, holy, divine (second person of the Trinity), resurrected, and also fully human.

Hinduism stands in complete contrast with the Bible's view on many of the key issues of life. Hinduism is not just another way to God; it is a completely opposing system of belief that promotes worship of a multitude of gods. Ultimately, the Bible compels Hindus to leave their beliefs and come to faith in Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6) and calls Christians to share the message of Jesus with Hindus whenever possible (Matthew 28:18-20).  Unquote

This information is important to know.  Jesus said ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.  Knowledge and truth are something we should all strive for if we want our minds to really be free.

What do Hindus believe? What is Hinduism?

Hinduism is the world's third largest religion. The origin of Hinduism can be traced back to the Indus valley civilization around 4000 to 2200 B.C. Much of its history is uncertain. However, it is clear that around 4,000 years ago a developed group of people lived in Northwest India. The major influences of Hinduism occurred when nomadic, Indo-European tribes invaded Northern India (around 1500 B.C.) from Russia and Central Asia. They brought the religion of Vedism (an ancient religion that included chanting and sacrifices). Their beliefs mixed with the local Indian native beliefs. Religious principles mixed, including the Hindu beliefs of reincarnation, multiple gods (polytheism), and the spiritual unity of humanity (monism or "one ultimate reality").

Over time, this religious mix of ideas grew through written scriptures known as the Vedas. Originally passed down orally, these ideas were written down between 1400 and 400 B.C. The Hindu scriptures are massive, and consist of:

The Veda: The oldest of the Hindu scriptures is the Veda, which literally means "wisdom" or "knowledge." The Vedas contain hymns, prayers, and ritual texts. The four Vedas are the Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajuraveda, and the Artharvaveda.

The Upanishads: The Upanishads are a collection of writings composed between 800-600 B.C. that marked a change to mystical ideas about humanity and the universe, particularly noticeable in the idea of the Brahman and the atman (the self or soul). The Upanishads came to have a great influence on Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.

The Ramayana: The Ramayana is one of the two major epic tales of India, the other being the Mahabharata. A sage-poet named Valmiki wrote the Ramayana that consists of 24,000 couplets describing the life of Rama, a righteous king who was supposedly an incarnation of the God Vishnu.

The Mahabharata: The Mahabharata is the second epic. It is the story describing the deeds of the Aryan clans. It consists of some 100,000 verses composed over an 800-year period beginning about 400 B.C. Contained within this work is a great classic, the Bhagavad Gita, or the "Song of the Blessed Lord."

The Bhagavad Gita: The Bhagavad Gita is the most sacred of all Hindu books and is also the best known and the most read of all Indian works in the entire world. This is despite the fact it was added late to the Mahabharata sometime in the first century A.D. The story in the Bhagavad Gita describes man's duty, which, if carried out, will bring nothing but sorrow. This story has had great impact on Hindu belief in its endorsement of bhakti, or devotion to a particular god, as a means of salvation.

Since Hinduism does not share a unified system of beliefs, all that can be done here is to identify its main concepts in comparison with the Bible.  Unquote

I hope this will help to understand exactly what the Hinduism religion is all about.   We need to go back to basics and examine these belief systems if we are going to know what this subject of reincarnation is all about and where the idea came from.  This is the first part.  The next part I will quote sheds more light and compares Hinduism with Christianity and gives more detail.

The only science that has any actual value are those that have been peer reviewed, if you have any creationist literature that corresponds to that most basic criteria I would of course consider it fully,  on the other hand pointing to a group of laymen ( on this or any topic) providing post hoc rationalizations to their presuppositional approach to everything is of little interest to me nor should it be to anyone, as all of science accepts evolution by means of natural selection the balls in your court my friend,

I'm excited to see your Nobel prize worthy research, seriously!!!!

Actually the folks that claim peer review as the gold standard should also tell you creation articles that don't agree with their world view are rejected out of hand.  That means the so-called peer reviewed system is biased and useless in the creation debate.  Peer review is asking people who do not believe in God or the Bible to judge articles which are based on a biblical view.  Complete waste of time.

  22. The sad reality is Socialism or a welfare state is like that. The government brings a system in for universal care and fails to deliver because they just don't have enough money, doctors, and resources to go around. B.C. has 900,000 people without a family doctor. So how many Canadians do not have a family doctor? Must be millions. The local walk-in clinic is only open for a few hours a day and people are lined up outside around the building to get in.  Totally inadequate for a town of 20,000.  They must wait an hour or more. I went to a walk-in clinic in Winnipeg a number of years ago and it was so crowded and I caught the Noravirus there. I was as sick as a dog that night. So much for walk-in clinics. Thousands of Canadians in need of urgent surgeries and treatments have been put on waiting lists and many died waiting. I would think if politicians and their supporters are going to bring in Socialist or public services, they should be prepared to fund them properly and run them efficiently and not be denying people necessary treatments and services. This is worse than no public system because they outlaw private services so there is no other option for people.

"I think when we hear about Canadians going overseas to seek medical treatment, it again is a reminder that our universal health-care system is no longer functioning adequately to meet the needs of Canadians," said Dr. Katharine Smart, president of the Canadian Medical Association.

"The fact that people feel they need to go to the United States or Mexico or Southeast Asia or somewhere else in the world to have their surgery or other medical conditions dealt with, I think reminds us that our system is failing."

‘Living in pain’: Canadians travel across the world to avoid surgery backlog (msn.com)

It should be mentioned that our interventionist governments, including all three or four levels,  federal, provincial, municipal, and regional, I believe also are a major cause of our massive housing shortage in Canada.  Governments control everything including what land is available to build on, and all the red tape regulations to obtain land and build homes on it.  This has created a situation where Canada has a huge geographic land mass and a small population but still there is a massive shortage of housing.  Look no further than our political leaders for the cause.

Just a friendly reminder that this thread is about whether or not you believe in reincarnation and why.

The Bible does not support reincarnation at all.  In fact it teaches "27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: " Hebrews 9:27 KJV   After death one either goes to heaven or hell.  There is no reincarnation as some other person or creature.  The whole message of the Bible really does not support reincarnation.

Here is an article on how the Hindu Scriptures compare with the Bible.

You said, more than once "I believe the KJ Bible is 100% accurate revelation of God's word in the English language.".

Discrimination is one person (you ) deciding what is right, good and true. "o discriminate against a group of people or in favour of a group of people means to unfairly treat them worse or better than other groups. "

Pompous because you try to enlist others to your beliefs, like a TV evangelist.

You are pompous to assume I (or us or others) will "muddle through a life of confusion, poor choices, and reject the truth".

Anyone that tries so hard to make others come to their way of thinking is a scam artist.  That's my opinion.

No, that's not what I said about discrimination.  You are twisting what I said.  The only discrimination I was talking about is pointing out there are false religious systems or false religions.  That has nothing to do with how one treats people.  I never said anything about how to treat people.  That's your assumption.  Disagreeing with belief systems is not discrimination or being pompous.  You would have to accuse Jesus of the same thing because he said there is only one way to God and heaven, that is, through him.  He would not agree with or accept the other religions in the world.

Yes , I believe certain things are true and certain things are false.  That has nothing to do with the word pompous.  Again that is your false claim.   Anyone who doesn't agree with your world view is a scam artist.   The Devil has deceived most of the world and that's no lie.
