Canadian suspect in terror probe took selfie with Canada's Justin. LOL. You can't make this stuff up.

Elites on both sides of the political aisle love immigration. It allows them to bring in more workers for the same number of jobs, driving down wages. Further, elites don't have to live beside these people or compete for housing or government services with them. Hence, the elites get all the benefits while (primarily) lower-class Canadians bear the burden of immigration.

Not a ridiculous question at all. People like to rail against "the elites" but rarely explain what they mean.

Yep. Canada. Freeloaders off American defense.

The Carboniferous Period was a very, very long time ago. Not likely to happen again...

Creative destruction is the natural way.

I believe that was the reason for the Carboniferous...not enough 'natural destruction'. There were few micro-organisms capable of breaking-down plant matter. Voila...coal beds.

Everybody seem to fail to make a connection between the recent riots in American cities and attempt by certain part of American elite to disrupt the Geneva talks on Syria by the massive bombing of the Syrian army in the city of Dar-el-Zor in eastern Syria. Now they swiftly got the return blow of a boomerang, as of saying – “You gonna behave, boys, or you get a civil war before your election”.

There is no viable society without a common culture; agreed upon values and norms which are then reasonably sanctioned. A society without those things will simply devolve into indiscipline and lethal division. Culture and society are not the same thing.

You really think Canada had a "common culture"?
When? What year?
-
Where did I mention this center of the universe, Canada?
-
When you decided to debate me when I said "we have those things".
We = Canada

New development sprawl should be taxed to hilt making it less desirable than renovation and redesign of existing areas already here.
-
You already pay a hefty tax for buying a new home as opposed to an older one.
-
I would settle for new development paying for itself. Established neighbourhoods subsidize new development significantly and then incur extra load on their infrastructure. Another subsidy to corporate developers brought to you by their crony municipal government politicians.
