You're not going to untangle the Canadian economy from the largest economy in the world, that's closest in proximity. We can increase our trade on the margins with other countries, but nothing will offset the trade we do with America. Anyone that thinks we can just trade more with other countries doesn't understand that we already trade with other countries.

California, New York and Illinois are set to lose seats in the house of representatives. Florida, Texas and Utah are set to gain seats. Terrible blue state policies are now having electoral ramifications for Democrats. I think that's why blue states are in favor of illegal immigration. It helps keep their population levels growing even though they're experiencing a net decline due to migration out of their states.

There’s more nuance to this. This particular person inflated jobs numbers for many months during the Biden administration, some say in an effort to help them with re-election. This particular person ended up having to revise down almost a million jobs that had had supposedly been created during the Biden/Harris term. This person now apparently overestimated job numbers at a time when many were hiking that the federal reserve would cut interest rates. They ended up not cutting rates based on these job numbers. If this particular persons numbers were accurate over the last few months, the federal reserve most likely would have cut interest rates, significantly helping the economy, as rates are still high.

She pumped up job numbers for several months to help Biden/Harris, and then had to revise almost a million jobs out of existence. The worst part of th recent revisions is that if these lower numbers over the last few months are accurate, the federal reserve most likely would have cut interest rates which have remained unusually high. She literally postponed interest rate cuts because of her inaccurate assessments.

America doesn’t need labour. Regardless that’s not what asylum is for. And they can have their applications heard remotely for consideration, as 90% of asylum applicants are found not to be eligible. If you’re in the United States illegally, you have the freedom to leave on your own accord, and go to wherever country you please, including your country of origin. I would recommend that if you’re worried about being deported to some place you’d rather not go.
