Complete nonsense. Conservatives won about 42% of the vote, which is right around where they were polling when Trudeau was still PM. The change in the election came from NDP voters abandoning their party and voting Liberal. Most of those were boomers that were irrationally frightened by Trump.

There was nothing that could be done about Trump irrationally frightening boomers into voting Liberal. Boomers are the only age demographic that voted for Carney. They had previously sided with Pierre until Justin stepped down and Trump took office. Many boomers actually think that Trump can annex Canada. I honestly don’t know what goes on inside a boomer brain.

But currently that's not the case, and blue states have gerrymandered their states even worse, as well as had illegal immigrants counted as part of their population that's resulted in them having more elector votes, and more house seats than they otherwise should.
