Their predictions and modelling are what's being criticized here. We've seen enough, heard enough. We remember the graphs that go off the pages, another insult to those of us who finished high school.

You put your trust in these people as though they know what to do. They do not. And therefore, their roles/ decisions are up for serious debate.

Your attitude speaks to the dumbing down of intelligent debate on the internet. 

Because you can't comprehend the technical nature of this type of modelling, you think it's bunk. 

It highlights your own ignorance. You know better than experts . . . because you've seen some stuff. ?

We should be happy about the new variant.  It’s very good news.  But you wouldn’t know it from the media unfortunately.
