Yup. Both the right and the left hate her. Takes a special person that can get so many people to agree on something.

  2. Daily cases back above 100,000 and daily deaths just reached 500 in the US.

It's a lot worse because those figures are coming from only a handful of states.

Numbers don't look so bad when you consider it on a National scale. But when you realize that a vast majority of the cases are coming from Mouth-breathing southern states with vaccination rates in the 30% range.

You can see why it's an issue.

      Florida is breaking Hospitalization records.

Boges calls noticing the tens - soon to be hundreds - of thousands of untested boarder jumpers from around the world storming in through America's southern border "xenophobia." Others think it's just noticing the obvious.

Progressive media and covid hysterics concentrating on Florida like the CBC did in the article Boges posted is also obvious. Here's why:

      Quote

DeSantis is running for re-election next year while eyeing a 2024 presidential bid. A central tenet of his national image among conservatives is his refusal to impose mask mandates at schools and in public or to impose restrictions on businesses. He hit that message again Tuesday, saying he will not budge.

"We are not shutting down," DeSantis said. "We are going to have schools open. We are protecting every Floridian's job in this state. We are protecting people's small businesses. These interventions have failed time and time again throughout this pandemic, not just in the United States but abroad. They have not stopped the spread, particularly with delta."

They don't tell you that Florida is one of, the most  affected by the Biden regime's open border policies. Note, the new Biden order isn't just letting the untested, unmasked through, they're putting them on planes and buses then shipping them around the states where their votes will be needed. Florida is one of the most popular destinations.

Also the illegals are jammed into tight expanses throughout their journey. Those are super-spreader situations.

And if say a sudden surge of those infected coming in from Haiti, West Africa, Honduras etc. turns up on a chart you can bet Boges or the CBC will be telling you about it. They just won't be telling you who they are.

And they love to tell you stories of sudden infection numbers or how some Prog doctor they found sees patients being packed in the hallway but they won't show you none-scary graphs like active cases in Florida.

  4. Does "Protecting the Vulnerable" mean everyone with Co-Morbidities? So if you have Type 2 Diabetes or a Heart Condition you should be locked in your home? Have the people behind the Barrington Declaration done the calculations on how much Vulnerable people contribute to the economy.

The approach to protect those who are truly vulnerable makes more sense. For evidence look at the attitude toward shutdowns coming out now. Statements by WHO, which I posted about.

By now, many months into this we should have pretty good data to support who the vulnerable are, and who they are not.

Another interesting comparator is Germany. Complete opposite side of the spectrum. The Germans were probably the most strict in the implementation of a forced quarantine on their people.

Germany is now seeing the same large upswing in infections as most other first-world countries. They show 6000 cases today. Deaths are on the rise too, similar to other nations. You can draw conclusions from that about the return value of these expensive and inadequate safety practices.

Biden at al have no choice, it's take this stance or be defeated. We knew that their outrage at Trump's approach was feigned, that this approach was working and they are liars. Their own voters seeking reconciliation that they promised are fools for believing them. But, meh

  10. Even if you want to believe that Trump didn't intend that mob to commit violence, you're willfully ignorant if you believe he wasn't in support of it when it happened. He didn't say anything about peace until four hours after the riot started.

      From the link:

It shouldn't be the people that are believing disinformation that we should be angry at.

It should be the small group of people who are spreading disinformation and making lies fact.

What's the difference?  People who don't take the vaccine because of disinformation are also spreading that disinformation.

As sad as it is, it will be those who accept disinformation who will suffer the most from Covid, or whatever other diseases will come in the future.

Assembly plant jobs create many more jobs in the community. It's totally worth it. Ask BC2004, she wanted those jobs back in Murika.

I'm very happy that they're pivoting to EV development, which is the future of automotive development.

  17. Fort McMurry burns to the ground JT says meh. Montreal floods and he's out with the sandbags helping himself.

    1. Omni

      Omni

Ft. Macmurray burned to the ground in a day. I doubt he'd have time to get there, nor is he likely trained as a fire fighter. The floods have been occurring for days and carrying a few bags of sand isn't quite so dangerous. Perhaps you don't like JT but you'll need to try much harder if you want to make something stick.

    2. dialamah

      dialamah

JT went to Ft McMurray.  True, it wasn't in the midst of the fire but as Omni pointed out, fires and floods happen on different time scales.  Not to mention - what would you have him do in the midst of a massive fire?   Moving sandbags is a less skilled and less dangerous task than fighting a fire, so what's to criticize?  Unless some kind of injury or even the untimely death of our PM is the hope.

You would only serve 10 years for 2nd degree murder in Canada.  You'd get a couple in the clink for armed robbery.

  22. Good News for Ontario AntiVaxxers. The Vaccine Passport will only really be applicable in places where people congregate indoors without masks. So effectively Gyms, Movie Theatres and Indoor dining.

Retail will be exempt. Obviously private businesses can choose to implement it if they want. As seen with Pro Sports in the Province.
