So what is this thread about? Is it classless to use "On the Run" or "Sleep" rhetoric to describe Trump's recent troubles?

From my understanding of the contracts the Liberals signed was that they featured high FIT program (Feed-In Tariffs). Basically a subsidy to make the electricity. As costs for producing green energy have come down, I'm hoping such a FIT will not be required here.

Didn't Ukraine just get given F-16s? I agree that the US needs to allow Ukraine to use their weapons in Russia. I suspect they already are.

The OP is comparing Hillary saying "We've got him on the run" to his assassination attempt. As if that's some sort of classless dig. On Twitter I saw someone also criticize Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors coach) for using the sleep gesture his star player Stephen Curry uses as a classless because of the shooting. Trump is on the run. He's completely reactionary now. Harris-Walz are controlling the narrative.

I don't think the transmissibility matters. The chances of getting very sick when infected is what mattered. There were all those bothersome masking and distancing protocols to assist with transmissibility.

I think people need to remember COVID-19 was a new virus. (man made or not) So people's first experience with it was, more likely than not, a severe illness. Especially those with compromised immune systems. The vaccine allowed for a safe way to expose large groups of people to the virus without continuing to burden healthcare systems. But that's so 2021.

Sure. It's stupid AF though. All about keeping the majority from ruling over the minority, blah blah blah. I would be fine with it, if it wasn't winner-take-all. Maine and Nebraska correctly assign EC votes to the districts they represent. I think that would be a better system. More inline with Canada and the UK's FPTP. It's insane that all EC votes go to the winner of a state by the thinnest of margins. This works both ways. The Dems can win Georgia by 11,000 votes and get the entire state's EC votes. But the GOP can also get Texas or North Carolina with large swaths of Democratic voters.

Yes it's intellectual that states with less than a million people get 3 EC votes no matter what.

BTW my local community pool has unisex change rooms with stalls and bathrooms. My son was with me after his swimming lessons and commented on the complimentary tampons made available. I told him those were for girls and that. This is not a perverse matter. It's the Conservatives that are making it perverse.

For 50% of the population, Including trans men that still menstruate, tampons or pads are a monthly necessity. And they're not the cheapest products to purchase. It's a good gesture to make them available.
