The case count never drives lockdown measures. It's always Hospitalization and Death. However a High Case count is usually a lead indicator that Hospitalization will soon uptick. We saw that after Christmas and Easter. 

We will get to a point where case count is irrelevant. But only when a percentage don't get very sick from the disease. 

There's lots of evidence that COVID-19 system linger long after you stop testing positive.

We are already below those points now, Boges. Yet the doors remain closed.

The next shutdown is only a few months away and they know it's coming. That's why we should get out when we can, while we can.

Who isn't getting out? People are enjoying the summer. Unless enjoying means going to a Movie Theatre or Gym. 

I think Canadians have no issue restricting things to unvaccinated people. Like no University, No organized sports, No In-person public school, and most importantly, no international travel.
