Paying the interest is a Ponzi scheme. It has been a Ponzi scheme for generations. It has a few regulating vents like the debt forgiveness when one goes bankrupt and the social programs.

They cannot lock everyone up. They depend on those people at the low and mid level wages. Those same people who have been struggling paying rent and food even before the national debt increased. Those cannot be taxed any further. The limit was reached already. So no, nobody will be going to prison and the rich pricks who designed the Ponzi scheme and who expect to collect interest payments can suck it up. I am speaking about the National Debt, not your personal debt. Your personal debt is very real, but only if most Canadians are not in a situation of imminent eviction. In that case, your debt will become imaginary just like the National debt. Why do you think Trudeau is now throwing money on closed businesses and unemployed people? Because the system recognizes it will collapse if they do not do exactly that.

Yes, this is pretty much it. But not rich like in worldly possessions as much as in power and control. Once those have absolute power, it would make little difference to them, to let some of it drain away, while still maintaining absolute power. What is being paid on debt is interest. Now keep in mind the whole concept of paying interest is flawed. It seems to work when it comes to small things in small amounts. Like, you have no apples on your tree this year and you borrow an apple from a neighbor promising to pay two apples next year. In the next year your apple is bearing fruit and you can give your neighbor that second apple, no problem. Now imagine you already have all the gold in the world. Someone wants to borrow a pound of gold from you at 10% annual interest. Yes, you give him the 1 pound. Do you expect to get the extra 1/10 pound next year? You will be stupid if you did. Interest works only if land and resources are unlimited which they are not. So the governments have been running a ponzi scheme. Not just Canada. Canada will not reset to zero without all other players resetting to zero.

It is a promise. Now imagine this promise was a lie. And it has been a lie for some time which the super rich do not really know. The more money they have the more control they have over the rest of us, telling us what to do, what to value, what to work for and how to live our lives. We are in a kettle , where money is used to cook us up. When we are about to die, the master reduces the heat (gives us free money) to let us pull through. If we start getting too much, taxes increase so our disposable cash is reduced and we cannot reach the point of realization our money cannot buy us what we want as what we want is not available to everyone. So look at the national debt as a meaningless number; just a tool of control, that can be reset to zero at any time. What you really need to worry about is if people started to die off in such big numbers that production of foods, goods and provision of vital services could not continue or if we have a major contamination, where our food air, water are contaminated. Or if we reached the limits of our Planet for growing food.

I don't see you even mentioning the pandemic and unfavorable economic conditions in the past couple of years. What do you expect Trudeau to do; or you thought Scheer was going to do better ......for the imaginary country or its diverse citizens?
