I am not born in Canada but need be if Canada is in danger (say invaded God forbid), I am ready to give my life for it to defend it. Being proud of a country may not be the correct sentence but rather I am proud of what Canada stands for. Canada stands for equality (of people regardless of race or religion, gender, orientation), respect and equality for women, Human rights, and the land of opportunity for those who are ready to work hard, welcome the superior culture and adopt and assimilate and contribute positively to th society and the treasury. Many Canadians may be unhappy with the country however, they take all of the above as granted and some may not appreciate it. You appreciate it more if you have lived in other parts of the world, even advanced societies like Western Europe and United States, never mind the hellholes countries in Middle East.

Americans bombed Serbia because the fascist Serbian regime was carrying out genocide against Bosnian and Kosovan Muslims and other minorities in former Yugoslavia. That said bombing Belgrade a few times is comparable to massive bombardments of civilian targets by Assad and his murderous allies like Islamic Republic and Russia including the use of chemical weapons against women and children over 5 year period murdering several hundred thousand of defenseless people making 7 million homeless??!!!!

First off we don't take all skilled workers. A high percentage of new comers don't end up in skilled workforce. Second those skilled workers we take they CHOOSE to come here because there are no opportunities at their own homeland otherwise why they would leave their homeland, family and friends to come here to start from scratch? We are developing our own and in my view if it wasn't for a negative growth in population and the risk to future pensions and economic stability, I would have said stop immigration altogether not to risk cultural clashes and overcrowded health and education in future.

I don't have to reveal anything. My true self is well known. I believe in scientifically proven facts not fiction or stories told 2000 or 1400 years ago. I believe in evolution and some people have evolved more than others. Not everyone can become scientists, doctors and engineers and researchers but some can. Not everyone is a model in looks or healthy or athletic or pretty or handsome but some are. Some are intelligent thinking but some still live in 6th century and believe in backward ideologists based on lack of respect for women and lack of respect for human rights and freedom. People are NOT equal. We must attract the best into Canada similar to many companies when hiring they interview and hire the best. Better or worse is among all races so if you wish to accuse me of racism, this probably is not very true.

The problem is not so much number of immigrants but rather the quality of immigrants, Canada needs immigrants. Our population growth will come to a halt without it and future pension and services adversely affected. Immigration program is not a charity (Argus said this first 5 years ago on this forum, he was right). Immigrants are supposed to help Canada and improve the lives of Canadians and many do but many comes without skills and education becoming a burden on tax payers, and over overloaded health and education services. Not to mention cultural incompatibility. And yes those who have their loyalty to another country or do not accept the cultural values in Canada must be deported, legal immigrants or illegal.

The only ones to be banned permanently and globally are those filthy groups who promote hate and violence against minorities and women, and in particular against LGBTQ community. Anything that weakens Islamic Republic and Russia is a good thing. Though I agree the HTS component of the new Syrian regime are Islamic fascists, however, there are other components too like the Syrian National Army and the Kurds. One thing is sure. The fact that the HST leader has asked the current Prime Minister under Assad to continue governing is a good sign indeed. Unfortunately we all share the planet , so none of us is unaffected by events even ten thousand miles away. In the last civil war for example we had to take over 30,000 Syrian refugees almost all ending up on social assistantships we all paid for them not to mention health care. The fall of Assad may not affect us much directly but if it is followed by the fall of Islamic Regime in Iran then this will affect us all very positively in the West as a great enemy of humanity and Western values and democracy and the head of evil octopus supporting terror throughout the world and its terrorist proxies such as Hezbollah and Hamas soon to be armed with weapons of mass destruction such as nuclear bombs will go to the garbage bag of history and the nation of Iran and the whole world will be freed from their terror.

I am surprised to see no thread so far on this topic/ Yes the bloodthirsty regime of Bashar Al Assad is coming to an end as the Islamists HST rebels and the other opposition group backed by Turkey, the Syrian National army are fast advancing towards the Capital Damascus. The civil war started in 2011 and violently came to an end with deadly help from the twin evils, the Russian Putin and Islamic Republic of Iran. Since then Syria under Assad became a colony of Russia and a satellite of Islamic Republic in which the former used Syria as a pathway to supply the terrorist Hezlollah organization with weapons including missiles and drones. Assad dynasty is coming to end end after 54 years in less than 54 hours though I am not sure the alternative, if the HST are any better than Bashar Assad as it is thought that they have links to ISIS and Al Qaida. In the civil war between 2011 and 2016 and subsequent intervention by Iran regime and Russia to keep Assad in power hundreds of thousands of civilian were killed and millions homeless and fled as refugees to neighboring countries or Europe and North America, Hopefully with the end to civil war those refugees will go back. Nobody want more Syrian refugees in Canada, It is hoped that the fall of this bloodthirsty regime will be soon followed by the fall of another bloodthirsty regime in Tehran which is the head of octopus, though the alternative regime in Iran will be a democratic one because in Iran we have a much more advanced secular non-Arab nation of Iran who are starving for a democracy and free Iran.

I told you myself that there are over 700 Islamic Republic agents in Canada and they are known to CSIS but Trudeau government refuses to deport them and I blame this government for this lack of action. Not only they are a threat to the security of Canada but there are a real threat to Iranian community of over 200,000 most are Canadian citizens. Trudeau government also refused for years to add IRGC yo terror list which is a terrorist organization committing terror inside and outside Iran but under a lot of pressure they did so only a few years ago. Trudeau government is incompetent when it comes to security (as well as immigration policies and economy). Hopefully PP will live up to his promise and deport all of those known 700 terrorist agents and sympathizers.

Also may I remind you that it was this under this government that the plot was foiled so credit should be given when deserved. Though as I said this Trudeau government is guilty for not acting decisively against Islamic Republic agents and supporters in Canada. Surely You can't blame the Canadian government alone for the murderous actions of a terrorist state abroad, that is Islamic Republic.
