No I did consider provincial taxes and they should go up for the rich same as the federal tax. A fairer society is where we have no hungry children going to school hungry no cold seniors who can't afford medicine no homeless no hungry and we should not have either those people who have so much that living heaven like in big houses, driving luxury cars, expensive furniture, travelling several times a year in expensive hotel and resorts. Especially in the country which is a rich country it is highly unacceptable that we should have hungry and homeless people and poor seniors. There is enough wealth and resources on this planet that everyone can have a good at least middle class life. The reason that we have poor and hungry and homeless people is because there is a tiny minority (mainly in rich countries) who wish to own much more than any human being needs. The top 1% of earth population owns significant portion of wealth. This is unacceptable and must change. A new report issued by the Swiss bank Credit Suisse finds that global wealth inequality continues to worsen and has reached a new milestone, with the top 1 percent owning more of the world’s assets than the bottom 99 percent combined. They should be encouraged to work harder and feel good that by doing so they help the less privileged even more however for those who try to steal (and there no other word for that) by hiding their income or other evasive techniques I would encourage heavy sentences like mandatory prison terms.

Yes sir that was where I was for more than a decade before coming to Canada. Where the Mational Front and British National Party supporters were/are attacking colored skin people. Where German Nazi sympatizers were/are attacking non-white even white immigrants from Eastern Europe. Where there are friction and clashes between North African Immigrants (many even born in France) and French white citizens where the extreme right has as much as 20% support racists and all above extends to recent democracies like Czech Republic, Hungry and Serbia too. I believe we should up the punishment for hate crimes in Canada in order to avoid the situation that now exists in Europe. Mandatory minimum sentences of many years for cases involving violence against women, racial and religious minorities, homosexuals and defenseless and heavy enforcement would help in my view and while we are at it bring back the capital punishment for violent crimes against women and children. I know while the former is possible if heavily lobbied but the latter will never happen under this Liberal government. Btw, the mastermind of Paris attacks was sent to hell today by French Police. I know it is just a symbolic win but makes me feel good!!!.

Yes mine too as I am advocating raising the personal income tax exemption by almost $10,000 (to help out everyone in particular those earning less than 20K should not pay also for taxes) and raising the tax rate from 26% to likely 30% or more for higher incomers (this includes me too) and the next rate from 29% to likely 35% or more for over $138K taxable income (this does not include me). Also raising GST back to 7% and that affects me and everyone but especially the rich (the conservatives reduced it mainly to help the rich, their core support who buy big items like big or luxury cars and furniture and electronics. Same for for provincial taxes. Also likely more than doubling social assistance for the poor and and low income seniors and veterans. Investment in Health care and infrastructure and building significantly more social housing for the low incomers. I prefer to see the less privileged like the hungry or homeless poor and the low income elderly and the children who live below poverty to have better lives than see the rich parading their big cars and living in big expensive houses with very large screen TVs travelling many times around the world staying in luxury hotels or expensive resorts while hungry children go to schools empty stomach and low income seniors shiver in cold or die because of lack of medicine as they can't afford the bills. Time to write to my MPs I helped in a very small way to elect!!!

I am not lefties but do believe in equality and in a fairer distribution of wealth (though strongly believe in capital punishment, lower immigration quotas and fiscal policies and free trade and secularism and liberal attitudes), nevertheless I respond to your question. I called it EVIL in all my posts and that is because the use of stronger F word is not permitted on the board and rightly so so what else did you want me to call it. It does say non-believers which is VERY LIKELY refers to those who do not believe in God (infidels), Again based on everything that I have heard Christians and Jews are NOT considered by Muslims even the fanatics to be non-believers as they both believe in God they believe in. What book is that? have you read that book? Have you seen the writing yourself in that book? Or did you just repeat what you heard from other ......? Then why a big majority of muslims condemn such attacks? What is your evidence? I don't know much about religions least of all when it comes to Islam but it is my understanding that Islamic teachings and religion has asked its followers to respect other religions before it, Christianity and Judaism included being two of many which have to be respected. Hate crimes of any kind and especially attacking women are most evil but Canada is still far better than Europe where random attacks based on skin color or religion is much more frequent. Not to say we should be happy about that because that act is so evil even one is one too many but what can be done to make sure that Canada does not become Britain or Germany or Russia in a few years time?. I am not offering empty platitudes. The reality is that 50% of Canada's population is female and the government of such a progressive country should reflect that reality where it can. It is unfortunate that only 50 out of 184 liberal MPs elected are female but the government cannot help there but where it can help is the appointment of equal number of ministers and all of them are well qualified for the job.

I think that it was conservatives bad campaign strategies as well as many scandals and bad policies during their 10 years reign which gave a strong majority to liberals who were at third party status. Trudeau did quite well as well you can't possibly deny that. Especially when the conservatives painted him very falsely as an underdog with no skills and experience or capabilities then they shot themselves in the foot. It IS based on REALITY. Women and men are EQUAL and this fact must be reflected in our democratic government. That is equal number of female and male ministers. And of course women given equal rights and representations.

This is a free country and a democracy and freedom of expression is guaranteed by our Charter and constitution. I have stated my views (which you have likely objected to by making the part bold letters when quoting) however my expressed views like previous government being corrupt and scandalist are based on what I see as plenty of evidence such as: 1. Being found in Contempt of parliament twice. 2. The Senate scandal(Duffy, Meredith, Brazeau and others) 3. Dean Del Mastro, Bruce Carson, Bev Oda, Chuck Cadman, Arthur Porter 4. Repeatedly being in violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and fighting with Supreme Court 5. Firing of Linda Keen for reporting an unsafe nuclear reactor And they were old because they had been in power for 10 years. And a lot of bills or legislations passed during those 10 years were based on religious beliefs (bill C-36, attempt to override guy marriage, assistant suicide.......). In other words my post was evidence based. This is not some middle eastern banana republic where people's heads will be chopped off or put in prison for criticizing the government or its leader. I didn't use personal attacks or name calling (like noobie) on anyone but simply pointed out what I viewed as facts regarding previous government's policies. As for Trudeau latest opinion poll by Nanos research indicates that now 70% of Canadians would now see him having the qualities for a good political leader so I can see why moderators may see the need to change any title who may use personal insult on a popular and recently elected leader in a democratic country. Not to mention that now he represents this nation and this country abroad.
