  1. Can you post anything without twisting the facts? The word genocide was coined in 1944 to describe the holocaust, GENE OCIDE, in other words the deliberate killing off of a genetic line. Culture doesn't have genes, and even if that was the case, no attempt was ever made to systematically kill off our native population. Now, i fully believe you know this, but on a forum where any left leaning nonsense is protected it's no wonder you feel free to lie about it. Not even to mention that since what happened here to those children is so far removed from what happened to the people who were killed in the holocaust you might as well be urinating on the graves of holocaust victims when you use it to describe the residential school system. There is a continual effort by some to use the word genocide to describe any number of situations that the word was clearly not intended to describe, i wonder if that is simply ignorance, or an effort to make the word so commonplace as to diminish the event it was first used to describe, when i read some of the absolute nonsense written by some posters here i have no doubt that for at least some the latter applies. I have no doubt there are other words that could be used to describe this situation, or invent one. While were at that, maybe we could talk about the death rate of aboriginal children outside of residential schools, not all of them went, and of those that did, not all were forced, or the death rate for the general population, maybe we can find even more 'genocides', since it seems we can use the word to describe almost anything and were all so interested in the truth. Perhaps we should have a chat about why our current Inuit population was not the original inhabitant of our arctic, we might want to ask them why they actually eradicated the people who first lived there. Although, there is no one left to apologize to, and after all, the current Inuit population only, 'displaced' the Dorset Inuit, which is a nice way of saying genocide.
  2. Honestly, get over yourselves, shall we go back and review the time not so long ago when he misrepresented my words? It is you and he that sanction ludicrous conspiracy theories by allowing them and then at the same time ponder the legitimacy of questioning with humor the idea that women are not responsible enough to consent to sex while drinking, as if they were somehow lesser people than the men who apparently have all of the responsibility in that scenario. There is a serious lack of consistency in the standards displayed here, and that is your fault, not ours. You are continuously allowing the mockery of the deaths of thousands by terrorists, but questioning a woman's ability to have responsibility for her actions is somehow offside. Perhaps it comes down to the things you believe in, i personally don't believe the USA killed it's own people on 9/11, I also believe that women can drink and choose to have sex, but opinions seem to vary.
  3. "Since before 9-11" "terrorism myth" yep, nothing to see here...except of course the recurring theme of the op.
  4. Careful, your freedom to point out the obvious may not be equal to other freedoms, such as just making shit up.
  5. Next someone will tell me the UN is upset, luckily i can't imagine caring less.
  6. Thank goodness the CBC made this news today, how else would people know about something that is so irrelevant.
  7. Michael Hardner, on 25 May 2015 - 2:16 PM, said: So calling into question, with humor, the assumption that women are simply not capable of consenting to sex after drinking (which for most circumstances is clearly ridiculous). Or that any man who chooses to allow a woman to have sex with him, after she has been drinking, no matter how much she wants to, makes him a defacto rapist, and also in effect makes her desires irrelevant, is somehow more objectionable than a 9/11 conspiracy theory, debunked thousands of times mind you, that ultimately includes the USA murdering thousands of its own people. That from a poster who does nothing but attack the USA in the vast majority of his posts. Well, if so, therein lies the problem.
  8. I tend to agree, it's right up there with 9/11 conspiracy theories, and we don't allow...o wait. Meh, that only resulted in the death of thousands, it's not like were turning a woman's apparent complete inability to consent to sex after a drink on it's ear, that we can't have.
  9. I find you boring, and you're topic is an embarrassment. No? OK, how about this, Jews are descended from an Alien race, placed here on earth to subjugate all others. Now i have no actual real evidence of any kind, and all reasonable science fly's completely in the face of that statement, but hell, lets discuss it. Or maybe, if say i was in charge, i wouldn't allow it, simply because it is completely ridiculous, and comes from a dark place full of other motives. Just like your 'nearly every post is an anti USA smear' nonsense. We all know you believe the great satan killed thousands of their own citizens on 9/11, of course you can't prove any of it. There is a good chance that you won't get a chance to read this before the mod squad deletes it. It seems that protecting outright lies is more important than allowing people to call them exactly that, and of course to think that spewing those lies doesn't call your character into question is equally ridiculous.
  10. The chart you posted proved absolutely nothing, thanks for playing.
  11. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/white-calgary-mom-hopes-community-bbq-will-stop-her-family-from-being-racially-slurred Racism is only a white problem.
  12. And most normal people would be just fine if murderers, the cold blooded, premeditated kind, never had a chance at parole, and some actually don't with the dangerous offender status but that is a very few. Personally, im not sure why people are against a life sentence for first degree murder, a real life sentence, im not sure what beleif it is that wants to give a second chance to someone who took someone else's life away, im more than happy to pay for it. I don't really beleive in the death penalty, it would be nice to say that in the case of X type of evidence, say video, when there is no doubt of guilt that we should have the option, but that creates two tiers of guilt and i dont think the system can work that way.
  13. I am sure that no other factors, such as living in less developed countries, or countries where women still don't have full equality has nothing to do with the rate of reported rapes. Clearly the only factor is how white you are. http://unu.edu/publications/articles/rape-and-hiv-as-weapons-of-war.html
  14. I think that this is such an important quality of life issue for most men that's its something we should pay for.
  15. Nope, people are all the same, and if the outcomes don't represent that it surely must be someones fault.
  16. So, what about the kids of families that earned 50k, or 75? $150,00 seems like an arbitrary number, the median income in the USA is just over 50k, how small are their children's brains? Or are they just average size? Is it possible that smarter people have bigger brains and make more money as a result? All i know is, i grew up poor, like burning furniture for heat poor, working with parents in the summer to help the family survive poor, hungry poor, and im doing ok. My smaller brain doesn't seem to have held me or my measured intelligence back, damn it though, im so close to being classified as a genius, if only my brain wasn't 6%, hell, might be 8% (we was so poor, no really) smaller.
  17. It's nice to see the mod squad is upholding the incredibly low standards of this forum.
  18. O and hey, I also heard the panama canal thing wasn't entirely above board, f'in americans.
  19. Only the fascist conservatives do this, i refuse to believe it
  20. All settled land, or very nearly, has been stolen from someone at some time, it's called the real world, believe it or not but in some places the orignal owners don't get any of it back, ever. Fortunately we are more generous.
  21. Another thread full of garbage, and that source...yea, also, all other countries are good, having never done anything like this. So sad to see this trash allowed.
  22. poor Muni, this ad makes him sound unwell, last night i think they had 3 regulars in the lineup, so many injuries.
  23. Probably true, mulcair is just representing the wrong party imo, but i dont think you can doubt his ability
  24. The concept of a thread that opens by referring to acts that took place more than a century ago is...., idk, pick a word. We do know these things happened, but your goal is just to bash the usa, these threads add nothing to this forum.
