  1. And herein lies the problem.
  2. Hal: Slowing or stopping to tell people to move off the road is something that happens thousands of times every day in cities in North America. It's very routine. Guyser: So is being pulled over for DWB .
  3. Telling a cop that he has no right to stop you, that you won't show your ID, calling him names, you can walk or stand wherever you want, ignoring their requests etc. doesn't work it only agitates the situation. It was that way when I was a teen in the 80's, it was that way in the 90's, 2000's and it's still that way. No matter what colour you are, you can't do that shit. Do minorities actually believe that white people punch out cops, tell them to F-off and ignore their requests without consequence?
  4. It is a straw man to bring in that people get pulled over for DWB because that's not what happened - and...it is an implication that Wilson was harassing Brown because he's a racist cop. This was nothing more than a cop doing his job and instructing 2 guys to get off the road. I've had it happen to me a number of times - and I'm white. Even after the exchange, whatever the tone was, Wilson was still leaving the scene when he heard the call and decided to reverse back to Brown. What began as a simple request to keep off the road quickly turned to a cop getting assaulted and struggling for his own gun.
  5. But that's not what happened here! Unless you think that Wilson should spend his life in prison paying the debt of some other possible racist incidents, you should leave out the straw man victim bull shit. I have no issue with calling out over zealous or racist cops - I'm on record doing it at this site, the problem is this; You guy's heard that a white cop shot an unarmed black child multiple times and have jumped in with both feet. I was on that page too, but if things check out they way their shaping, then Wilson is not only in the right, but was forced into that shooting by Brown himself. And...It'll be a sad situation if he gets railroaded on this. I'm not saying there isn't racism in America, but every day it becomes more obvious that people have chosen the wrong case to make an example of. It's Ok to change sides (or see both sides) on this - I did.

  7. This post is so "out there" it's embarrassing.
  8. I think the chief said all along that the reason for pulling them over was not about the robbery. He said that Wilson, from what he understood, heard the call about the robbery during the initial contact with Brown. This is old news.
  9. That's exactly what I'd say too.
  10. Good news! I wasn't sure whether I should take my molotov cocktails next time I visit St. Louis.
  11. Yes! Very clever! I'm sure you don't really believe that a community (black or white) is better off if the police stay away.
  12. Of course! And, I suppose if the police stayed home it would be a peaceful love-in. C'mon, these people are shooting each other with the police standing right there, what do you think would happen if the police just stayed home? Maybe we should find out!
  13. So, you find it a coincidence that some of the protesters just happened to be carrying molotov cocktails, guns and bandanas?
  14. What i'm curious about, and i'll admit I haven't seen everything on this (very little actually) is distances. Johnson said he hid behind car, it was reported that Wilson started chase on Brown, brown apparently stopped - may have doubled back, it was said that Brown dropped only about 3 feet from Wilson, yet witnesses said he was 35 feet away, in the pictures there are no cars in the area to hide behind - how far away were they? Just some questions that might shed some light.
  15. As a matter of fact; I do. I think if the cops weren't standing there, Ferguson would be burned to the ground and there'd be shootings (moreso) in the streets. Haven't we all seen how quickly riots get out of hand?
  16. Ok, I thought you were suggesting the "shot while running away" theory.
  17. And if the police don't act, don't go out and protect people what then? Oh yeah, "see, these cops won't protect us, they hate us, if this was a white neighbourhood....".
  18. It doesn't match what the pathologist said...but whatever. Sure, out of 6 entry points you could say "well if he was turned just right this one could've entered from the rear", and if that was the only entry, then maybe. Anyway, considering that there were 4 shots to the arm, it makes more sense that they all came while Brown was facing in the same direction. For your hypothesis to be accurate, Wilson had to squeeze off the shot to the arm - pause while Brown turned around - re-aimed 3feet to the left and about 1 foot (or more) higher and squeezed of 3 more shots hitting that same arm. This is apparently from 35 feet and a stationary (at this point) target. Now, the first time my 13YO kid picked up a 9mm, they were able to pick out the eyes of a zombie from 50 feet. I believe that common sense would show that all 4 shots to the same general area came rapidly, without a re-aim, while Brown was facing Wilson. I believe that Wilson aimed for the arm area in a attempt to stop Brown, when that didn't work, he re-aimed and went for the biggest mass striking his head as his head dropped.
  19. They also said he was shot in the back...but anyway. If the first shot to the arm happened while he was running away, when did the other 3 to the arm hit him?
  20. Yes, but as any ambulance driver will attest, people get injured all the time and don't realize the severity of it until much later. A person can walk away from a major car crash with broken ribs, fractured vertebrae...whatever and and not even know it. That's why everyone after a (major) auto wreck gets a coller and goes to the hospital.
  21. Perps reaching for a cop's gun is not unheard of at all. In fact, one of the police's main concerns about their equipment is balance of how they get out their gun quickly, yet make it hard for assailants. You and I may never consider such a thing, but it happens - it happened less than a week ago in LA.
  22. Why is it so unfathomable that a 6'4 300 dude that just robbed a store by simply throwing the clerk aside could've tried the same with a cop, yet it's unquestionable that a 6 year cop with no former disciplinary actions unloaded at an innocent guy who was running away - for no apparent reason?
  23. Personally, I think Dorian Johnson will revamp his story somewhat once the ballistics and autopsy (complete autopsy) comes back.
  24. So am I. I'm also referring to interviews (unprofessional, I'd say) from his assistants.
  25. So, you really accept the idea "well...there coulda been 6...udunno....maybe more, not sure where they came from or where they went....maybe this one is a re-entry wound" as a thorough autopsy. I'd be pretty disappointed if I were the Brown family.
