Supreme Court swings in favour of group-sex clubs They rewrote the definition of indecency to it doesn't cause society no harm. Gee,what else doesn't cause society no harm that we can legalize? How about walking to work nude? Might be indecent, but causes society no harm. How about sex in public? Indecent again, but doesn't cause society any harm. Did they open up a can of worms?

Alberta Leading in Healthcare.
Canuck E Stan replied to Canuck E Stan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Globe and Mail The Globe and Mail has put this story under -The Election: Analysis. All of the leaders should be commenting on this super successful private/public mix of healthcare. Layton especially should admit that it does work and his idea of a strictly public system is bogus. -
UPS uses NAFTA to stop Canada Post Courier Service
Canuck E Stan replied to err's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Err, What happened to the pacticality of keeping your fellow Canadian employed as you have stated so many times about union people needing to make a decent living too. What happened to you brother? Don't you care for them anymore. So what if the service is crappy or overpriced or unreliable, isn't it a Dipper's duty to look out for these people and make sure they stay employed? You own more than one car? Isn't that a Dipper no-no? The environment doesn't need this kind of excess. Shame on you Err,preaching about environmental damage and owning more than one car. And your other car isn't Domestic? Why? Isn't the quality of Union built domestic autos not up to your standard? I hope your American car wasn't built in America, seeing as you don't think much of Americans and their policies,it would be hypocritical of you to be condemning Americans but supporting them economically. -

Err, That's quite a statement for a devout NDPer to make. A Dipper not supporting a union? What would your union brothers and sisters think?....I suppose you drive a foreign car... -
Red Book 1993 Part 1 Red Book 1993 Part 2 Red Book 1997 Red Book 2000 Red Book 2005-see previous books. Nothing like a re-reading an old book of fiction and fables. Deja Vu all over again. Promises made, promises broken.

That's why the Libs tried using the GST to buy votes by saying they would get rid of it back in '93, it perfectly suited their style of politics. Then lied about it.

My name is Jack Jack came from a long line of politicians. His Mulroney Cabinet MP father taught him all he knows about politics. That's was a Conservative party for those who didn't know. -

Poll gives Liberals commanding lead

Tories tilt numbers at expense of NDP Looks like the Dippers are on their way to being a non-party in Parliament. -
I believed the Liberal promise 12 years ago, stupid me. I don't need daycare now. Your attitude about rejecting this proposal is just as stupid. This proposal is a start. You stated this is what you want and the Conservatives are offering it, but you don't want it from them. It has to come from the Liberals. Guess what? Liberals aren't even offering this to you as an option. The Conservatives will have to deliver or they will get bounced. And I will be first in line to bounce them.

Totally agree with you Spar. We know little about the demographics(gender/age group/time of day of the call, etc.,) of those polled. My 15 year old answered a poll telling them he was an adult. How do they know? Anybody remember what the polls were like just before Kim Campbell's Conservative defeat. -

Decriminalization vs. Criminalization
Canuck E Stan replied to normanchateau's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
From Normie from BubberMiley, Marijuana smoke irritates the lungs. Heavy exposure of the lungs toirritation such as smoke increases the likelihood of lung cancer and other lung problems. Marijuana speeds the heartbeat and is unhealthy for people with high blood pressure or other cardiovascular ailments. Marijuana does reduce the sperm count and obstruct sperm mobility in males within the normal range. These side-effects do not seem to affect human fertility, and are completely reversible thirty days after cessation of use. Marijuana, like other drugs, crosses the placenta. While the effects of this are unknown and there is no evidence that marijuana causes chromosome damage, we advise women to avoid the use of marijuana, tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs not prescribed by their physician during pregnancy and nursing. -
I'm not, I'm surprised he didn't mention Mike Harris or Corporations in the same sentence.....this is not like him.

That's why when Martin and Layton were both in Windsor on the same day last week future senator Buzz was with Martin and didn't even bother to help Jack out.Buzz really believes in the NDP cause enough to write a letter to the editor but not to campaign with Jack....anywhere.Jack's stumbling pretty badly these days.
