  1. They’re sick control freaks who think they deserve to micromanage populations. The WEF is an unelected mob of kleptomaniac disaster capitalists who use the cover of solving world crises to commodify every aspect of human existence in order to accumulate more power and money for themselves. Trudeau and Freeland are ardent supporters to the degree that they will foist policies on the public without a public mandate then give us a sell job. It’s gross but most people are simply too removed, gullible, exhausted, and/or disempowered to do anything about it. Make no mistake though, the fascist ESG alignment of big business with government is overriding national constitutions and sovereignty. People generally aren’t getting it and are toeing the party line by calling anyone who calls attention to the undermining of democracy a “conspiracy theorist”.

  2. Canada is one of the LEAST racist countries in the world and actively works at stamping it out. Why would you be overly concerned about racism in Canada when the MOST racist countries are Middle Eastern and Islamic-ruled countries? If you are truly concerned about racism, I would start there.

  3. Encouraging everyone to retreat into separate identity tribes while demonizing the one tribe we all belong to and suppressing our collective pride for it is a really bad idea. This has been the ideology of the woke left, including our current government of the past 8 years. Yes we're all different and always have been, but we need to reject divisive identity politics and vote the current government out of office because they're destroying the country.

  8. I am now about to remake our immigration system. Here are a few of my likely policy changes. Immigration numbers will be cut back to 200,000 Family immigration will be eliminated except in humanitarian cases. Investor class immgiration will be eliminated entirely. All potential immmigrants must pass basic language tests given at the embassy or consulate. All potential immigrants must have a job offer for a job which cannot be easily filled by Canadians in order to immigrate to Canada (which is the requirement in the US) The requirement that immigrants attest to their desire to reside in Canada will be reinstated. The period of residency before acquiring citizenship will be raised back to 5 years. All potential immigrants will be interviewed, which will allow an immigration officer to assess their language skills as well as their personal suitability and willingness to adapt and assimilate into Canada. They will also be required to answer, in writing, a series of fairly routine questions related to the profession they claim to be a member of in order to weed out those with fake documents and degrees. They will also be given a version of the 'personality' tests Canadian business routinely use to assess people's values and beliefs to see if they will fit in. In addition for a potential immigrant getting points for language ability, education, job skills, etc., the potential immigrant's spouse will also be able to add points to his score if he/she also has language skills, education and job skills. Canada will prioritize immigration from countries and areas in order to prevent the build-up of ethnic ghettos in Canada. For years Canada has taken a large number of immigrants from certain countries and areas which has supplied a continuing stream of that group to help enlarge and sustain such ethnic communities. Changing the focus of our immigration will allow those ethnic groups to more readily assimilate. This would mean targeting places like South America and Europe which have supplied minimal numbers of immigrants over the past few decades and which, consequently, do not have large ethnic communities here which retain the values and beliefs of their homeland. Every refugee applicant will be kept in custody pending their hearing. Every refugee applicant's story will be checked out by the embassy/consulate in the country where they reside (Which means if you claim to be persecuted because you're gay your family and friends better know about your being gay). Canada will only grant temporary asylum for a perdiod of five years. After which the condition of their country or situation will be reassessed to see if they can return home. Canada will adhere to the UN definition of refugee. This definition does not consider people living in a war torn counry like syrian (except minorities being persecuted) as refugees. Nor does it consider poverty, ie, Hait, to be a justification for asylum claims. Nor would it allow women who claim their husbands beat them to make asylum claims. Immigrants/refugees who have met the residency requirements and wish to apply for citizenship must pass language tests (more than basic) and must demonstrate the efforts they have made to assimilate, as well as having been self-supporting and having no criminal record. (this is the case in most western countries). Citizenship will be automatic only to those born to Canadian citizens. It will not be granted to those who happen to be flying overhead at birth, or to people who come here to give birth, or to visitors or refugees or students (except in the case where the resulting offspring would otherwise be stateless). If refugees become Canadian citizens then any child born to them in Canada automatically becomes a citizen.

  10. Today i raised my glass of beer to lost brothers, and sisters, I sat around a table full of comrades where we told war stories, most of them funny, some of them sad. and how bad we all miss them. This Remembrance Day was different i took with me a good friend of mine, son, he turned 19 this year, his dad was killed not far from me in a fire fight, he has been bugging me to bring him along for a long time now, he's been wanting to meet all his dads' friends, and since we live all across Canada and only meet up once or twice a year, i finally said yes... anyways he learned what his dad was like, what kind of man he was , and how good of a soldier he was. it was a time he'll never forget, like everyone he drank way too much, his mother is pissed at me for bringing him home in that condition, but she'll get over it, I hope. Remembrance Day is not only for those that have passed on, but let's also include those that have been left behind let's not forget their pain and suffering . To those that did not come home cheers. To those that got left behind cheers. May we never forget you.

  13. The economy boomed under Trump. The US was energy independent, US Manufacturing was given its biggest boost in decades as he started a movement of reshoring that is still going on, no wars were started, he negotiated a number of peace treaties abroad, inflation was slowed drastically, US personal savings accounts of the average person was the highest it had been. He may be the only president int he past 25 years who actually truly cared about the country. Why would a billionaire in his 70s run for president and go through all of what he went through. He was already financially secure and famous. If we all went down protecting the lives of millions, I would say that it would be an honorable way to go down. And I really don't think you realize how many people are still pro-life. To kill or not to kill is not a right that should be given.

  19. So Meghan Murphy gave a talk at a Toronto Library yesterday. And in this talk she said nothing more than 90% of Canadians wouldn't fully agree with. Men are men. Women are women. If you have a penis you're a man. It's unfair for men to intrude in womens spaces and sports, regardless of what they believe their gender is or ought to be. But the howling mobs of the left can't tolerate that sort of thing. That's heresy to them. They tried very hard to get the talk shut down, and in the end resorted to swarming around it like a drooling mob of cavemen grunting and shrieking and pounding their chests. Murphy was turned down by seven other venues, all afraid of the mobs of cretins which inevitably follow anyone who dares to blaspheme against their sacred truths. And yet she had nothing extreme to say, nothing which varied much from the mainstream. We are letting our speech, both in person and on-line, be governed by the intolerant religious fanatics who make up the Left today. People restrict their speech, or venues restrict it or social media restricts it, out of fear of violence from the loonies of the Left. The Left has always been good at pretending a higher morality to their positions, and now they've come to imbue it with a religious devotion which beggars belief. If you dare to contradict it they'll swarm around you, on social media or in person, chanting their sacred words "Bigot! Nazi! Transphobe! Islamophobe! Racist!" Political discourse is becoming more toxic as the Left become more religious about their views and wall off subject after subject as forbidden. Much like Muslims whose sacred texts were last interpreted centuries ago, and who regard any variance from those interpretations as blaspheme, the Left seeks to bully and intimidate any who disagree with them by shouting them down and de-platforming them. Every inch they get they push for more, and I think people need to start pushing back. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50214341

  20. Did you really think it would be anything else? Did anyone think that this hundred million dollar waste of time would challenge any of the progressive narratives or cast any shade on the natives themselves for their behaviour? Of course not! It's all the fault of those evil white people! We're committing genocide by... letting native men kill native women... Not that we're exactly letting them. Investigations into the murders of native women are just as intense as those of white women, and the solution rates are virtually identical at 88% for natives vs 89% fo white women. Oh, and by the way, native men are murdered at a much higher rate. But the inquiry wan't concerned with them. Men, even native men, are of little concern these days. So they want there to be harsher penalties for anyone who harms a native woman than one who harms a white woman or man. As if native women were some kind of special group placed on a podium to be protected above all others. How this is supposed to gel with the demand for lower sentences for natives offenders is never gone into. Are they to get longer time in front of the healing circle if the person they kill is a female native? The inquiry was only supposed to look into the violence perpetrated against native women over the last thirty years, but you knew it wouldn't confine itself to that. And you knew our craven, spineless prime minister would get on his apology stool again and accept full blame on our behalf. Instead he was quick to say the justice system has failed them - without explaining how. The inquiry report uses the word 'genocide' dozens of times, and the lead progressive in charge stated baldly "This report is about deliberate race, identity and gender-based genocide," Which, of course, is so much bullshit. I think most Canadians will hear this and shake their heads in contempt at the idea that we're committing deliberate genocide on anyone, much less native women who are being killed by their drunken, drugged up spouses and relatives. I know Scheer won't have the balls to say anything about this, but I wonder what Bernier's response will be. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-inquiry-on-missing-and-murdered-indigenous-calls-on-all-canadians-to/ https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-violence-against-indigenous-women-and-girls-is-not-a-relic-of-canadas/

There are only very real - and very immediate concerns about this government's uncaring and mismanaged refugee policies. Sorry to be so negative but Trudeau and his government have been such an utter disappointment to those who care about Canada that we're running out of descriptors.

  24. Any intellectuals, journalists, or psychologists for that matter who are reasonably honest, no matter their political affiliation, should be very concerned about this attempt to cancel and discredit one of Canada’s most important public intellectuals. It says a lot about how far we’ve fallen in Canada. You are only allowed to have a very narrow range of opinions in Canada, and it’s distinctly on the left. People have become so fragile and easily offended that few public figures say anything of substance anymore. The professional governing bodies, whether it’s law, psychology, or anything else, have been co-opted by special interest groups who take great offence at any kind of criticism or lack of embrace. What happened to Peterson doesn’t reflect badly on Peterson, it reflects badly on the jealous, petty, and politicized professional associations who can’t handle any kind of honest critical thinking and free speech because it doesn’t support their own simpering cowardice. It also reflects badly on our grotesquely politicized courts and public institutions. With Peterson’s stature, I’m amazed that he doesn’t just become an American and leave behind the predictably weak-minded phoney left-wing group think that has become synonymous with the Canadian identity. It’s not Peterson who needs to change. He’s brave, productive, and helpful. The College of Psychologists and aforementioned institutions need to change. Sadly, given everything we’ve seen unfold in Canada these past several years, I’m not holding my breath for much to change.

Over hours of emotional testimony, Ms. Freeman and Ms. Moss described how their lives had been completely upended after Dec. 3, 2020, when Mr. Giuliani first suggested that they had engaged in election fraud to tilt the result against Mr. Trump in Georgia, a critical swing state. The women, who are Black and are mother and daughter, were soon flooded with expletive-laden phone calls and messages, threats and racist attacks, they testified. 29. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/colby-cosh-2 CBC News cried “uncle” yesterday in its long-running quarrel with Alberta premier Danielle Smith, as you may have read in your National Post. In January, a story from the network claimed that some member of the new premier’s staff had sent emails directly to Crown prosecutors ordering them to let up on COVID rulebreakers. This created a nasty suspicion that the premier’s office was interfering directly in individual criminal prosecutions, and it rightly led to an investigation by the province’s ethics commissioner, Marguerite Trussler. In the meantime, the CBC stood stubbornly behind its story. Well, yesterday the CBC added a 300-words editor’s note to the head of its January story expressing regret and a touch of humiliation. “Our sources,” the note reads, “have insisted that Crown prosecutors felt political pressure regarding the Coutts cases, but they are not able to confirm that the emails they originally described were sent directly from the premier’s office to the Crown.” (Maybe they should have been asked to “confirm” this information before publication in the first place?) “As such, we have updated this story and related pieces, removing references to direct contact between the premier’s office and prosecutors — which the premier has vehemently denied. CBC News regrets reporting direct contact by email.” So - CBC releases an OBVIOUSLY FAKE story JUST BEFORE an election that attacks a conservative politician, then JUST AFTER the election admits it was all bullcrap and they're soooooo sorrry. These guys have got to go. They're not even pretending to be anything but political activists at this point. They are NOT a news agency.

  31. There was also a WEF video clip of Schwab talking about how, very soon, we will all have brain implants that will enable us to feel and understand other's points of view, thoughts and emotions. He did not mention that it would also enable governments to detect dissent, no matter what comes out your mouth. I know what some are going to say - "Governments would NEVER use that technology against us that way." No? They wouldn't? Look how they've squashed dissent lately. Imagine when they can detect your secret thoughts. The UN, the WHO and the WEF are the organizations we need to keep an eye on right now. Left/Right, Republican/Dem, Liberal/Conservative - none of that matters at this point. The WEF is full of billionaires and governmental heads from all of those categories. Yet they somehow all agree on what needs to happen to us ordinary citizens. It doesn't even matter what the disaster or emergency is - covid, climate change, overpopulation - the WEF solution for them all is exactly the same: Transfer of massive amounts of wealth to unelected/unaccountable international elites. Restrictions of personal rights. Acceptance of tyrannical decrees.

  33. I don't believe conspiracy theories. I believe the science. I've been following the science since this began and it hasn't been wrong. Not once. For instance, right from the beginning - the science said these jabs would not stop transmission. Conspiracy theorists said they would. The science said these jabs would not be safe. Conspiracy theorists said they were 100% safe. That was straight from Albert Bourla's mouth - CEO of Pfizer. I posted his tweet saying it. The science said vaccinated people would experience waning immunity very quickly. Conspiracy theorists said, 2 jabs and you're good. No, wait - 3 jabs. Oooopsy-doodle, we meant 4. Okay, 5. Probably more. Like for the rest of your life. The science said vaccinated people would experience recurring bouts of covid because the jabs are leaky and non-sterilizing. Conspiracy theorists said if you got jabbed, "The virus STOPS at you." The science said the jabs would cause heart attacks and myocarditis. Conspiracy theorists try to cover up the heart attacks and myocarditis. The science said healthy children had no risk of covid. Conspiracy theorists said children need to get jabbed. The science said the elderly and obese were at risk. Conspiracy theorists said we were ALL at grave risk. The science said lockdowns would be ineffective and ruin lives. Conspiracy theorists said lockdowns were great. The science said masks were ineffective and would ruin children's development and education. Conspiracy theorists said masks would have no effect on children. I also believe in common sense. Common sense tells me to question an experimental medical procedure, using a method that had not been perfected, manufactured by companies with billion dollar fines for medical fraud and forced on everyone by holding their careers and livelihoods and civil liberties hostage. Maybe if you trusted in science more, you wouldn't have followed the conspiracy theorists.

  35. Everyone in the world knows that high-Ranking FBI officials were demoted, fired, and even charged criminally for their malfeasance in the 3-yr-long Russian collusion witch hunt, which was an overt attempt to slander Donald Trump and to dislodge him as the winner of the 2016 presidential election. In the end, a FISA court judge released a statement saying that the FBI's conduct in the Russian Collusion investigation was "so egregious that it cast a shroud of doubt over every FBI investigation ever conducted". Then on Oct 8 2020, just a month before the 2020 election, the FBI started lying to Americans about their own fabricated attempt to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of a large swing state. That little bit of FBI skullduggery was undoubtedly a huge blow to the Republicans' election hopes. At almost the exact same time, about a month before the 2020 election, the FBI and the intel community were also lying to Americans about the validity of the Hunter laptop, and telling them that it was just "Russian disinformation". The MSM ran with that claim, and Twitter took the extraordinary step of banning the New York Post for publishing laptop info that Twitter called "Russian disinformation". The laptop and its contents are now known to be 100% legitimate, but what's really important to consider the fact that the FBI already had the laptop in their possession for approximately 11 months at the time they falsely called it "Russian disinformation" - they obtained it in Dec of 2019. Was the FBI fabricating a second story for the American public (voters) right before the 2020 election? Honestly, if there was a legitimate federal police force in the United States, they'd be investigating the FBI for concurrently running two frauds on the American people which both influenced the 2020 election in favour of the Dems. Ooh, but there's more. Given the FBI's history of getting agents into the mix to incite violence and (reportedly) even being involved in setting up terrorist plots, it's almost impossible to believe that they didn't have agent provocateurs influencing people on and before Jan 6th. Ray Epps is a shining example - a guy who was caught on video multiple times in different places influencing people to enter the capitol buildings, and even being there when the first gate was stormed, and yet miraculously he's not charged with anything. So, in a time where the DOJ is going after anyone and everyone involved in the Jan 6th event, racking up more Jan 6th convictions than BLM riot convictions, Ray Epps officially "did nothing wrong" according to them. The Dems, the DOJ and their FBI are completely fixated on Jan 6th now. The 2 hrs of rioting at the capitol produced more criminals than all of the rioting, looting, arson, overrunning of gov't buildings, assaults and murders at the 4 months of BLM riots in 2020. There are 300 criminal cases and 120 convictions from all of the BLM riots, which caused billions of dollars in damages, and 895 people charged with crimes on Jan 6th. The Dems and the MSM were cheerleaders when BLM was destroying communities, local residents were supposed to condone and support all of the violence in their own neighbourhoods, but two hours of semi-rioting at the capitol was enough to give some of those same people PTSD (AOC). The FBI has to go after them ALL. All of them except for Ray Epps, that is. If we tie everything up and put a bow on it, this is the view from 30,000 feet: the Dems slander and malign local police constantly, even going so far as to recommend "defunding police", and the FBI now has an extensive history of fabricating stories of corruption and violence against the Republicans while downplaying crimes by the DNC, and even giving its members prosecutorial immunity for no reason at all. Which begs the question - are the Dems trying to get rid of local law enforcement agencies to make room for an increase of the role of their own federal police force? The last paragraph is an aside, the main question is, are the FBI just blatantly using their power and influence to change election outcomes?

  36. DOJ. FBI. CIA. State Department. It would take some kind of blood bath or civil war to bring them down. And what would cause a civil war, since the MSM won’t report on any of this? We as protesters, must make it known, that we're boycotting vaccines until the government get rid of these mandates. If people promote a widesprad boycott of Vaccines, prehaps Pfizer and Moderna will convince governments to end these mandates, since they don't want to scare away future customers. If the Majority of Canadians refuse to take vaccines, until individual rights are protected, the power established will see their policies as contradictive. Speak up and tell your friends to start protests that supports boycotting vaccines. We need boycotts against vaccine mandates.

  41. Yesterday there was over a million Covid cases in the US, that we know of. Each day the provinces test new record numbers of Covid cases and we hunker down waiting for the other shoe to fall: a rapid rise in admissions to the ICU’s. Only it hasn’t quite worked out that way. Hospitalizations have risen but the stays are shorter and almost everyone who gets Omicron, representing about 95% of Covid cases, recovers within a week. The ICU’s have lost some capacity but aren’t anywhere near full on average (Ontario with 1100 ICU beds has about 270 in use). The bigger issue causing us to “slow the spread” by putting students back online and adding restrictions is the fact that we’re testing so many people who we’d never know were positive without the tests, people who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. Stop testing these people and they’d be working. The health workers administering the useless tests could actually help highly symptomatic patients. The time is here to focus our health care on treating very sick people, and not just people sick from Covid. Let people live normal unmasked lives, seeing people, going out, travelling, and taking care of their many other needs. The vast majority of our vulnerable population is fully vaccinated and has access to boosters. Those who are more vulnerable can take extra precautions. Mask up if you want to. Many people have had Omicron and many more will get it. Eventually just about everyone will and the consequences for our young and vaccinated population are cold or flu-like. We’ll be fine. It’s time to declare Covid-19 endemic and end restrictions.

Canada was absolutely founded on enlightenment values, many of them derived from Britain which banned slavery in the Empire in 1832, long before it was banned in the U.S. Read about the Underground Railroad. MacDonald was not a white supremacist. He was a Scott who was representing the overwhelming majority of his population who were of European ancestry. Many Indigenous would very much have appeared “uncivilized” in relation to mainstream society. Your comments are irresponsible and untrue. Learn about Joseph Brant and Tecumseh. Read about the countless progressive changes to laws and policies that unfolded in the British parliament and later the Canadian parliament. You really don’t know how Indigenous were treated or why publicly funded education was considered progressive and still is today. Provide evidence for “horrendous and appalling” system-wide treatment in residential schools. This is why people are clinging to extreme sides. No reasonable discussion based on facts.

  46. So the Trudeau government is set to ban a bunch of macho-looking rifles in Canada, even though they really don't do anything a lot of other rifles do, and even though everyone involved in policing recognizes that almost all illegal firearms come across the US border anyway. The cost will be $250 billion up front and another $150 million a year for for years. But we all know it will be a lot higher. It always is. And the reason for this billion dollars is not really a reduction in crime or the illegal use of firearms, it's to buy popularity for the Liberal party among urban progressives who know nothing about firearms except they don't like them. The government is exploiting the Nova Scotia tragedy for crass political gain despite the fact the killer had no license and used illegal weapons which can be easily obtained because the government refuses to do anything about weapons smuggling, or the illegal sale, purchase or ownership of firearms. Remember this government passed more gun control legislation in 2018 and still hasn't' implemented it because the point was to be seen to be passing the legislation. They know the legislation won't do a thing anyway, but they got the good publicity for passing it, which is all this style over substance government ever cares about. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-ottawas-gun-ban-to-target-ar-15-and-the-weapon-used-during/#comments

  47. A third picture of Trudeau in blackface uncovered. Personally I don't think this is racist, given the context, but then I don't have the same standards as the progressive types - like Trudeau - who only need one instance of bad judgement somewhere in a person's history to judge someone as irredeemably racist forever. I can't help smile, though, at the irony of Trudeau being 'hoist upon his own petard'. And I would note that if a Liberal candidate had even one such instance surface in his or her past Trudeau would drop them like last month's poutine while giving a sanctimonious statement about how the Liberal party doesn't tolerate racism. And, of course, if these surfaced in the history of a Conservative, well, you can be sure he and his entire party would be rushing to condemn them as a white supremacist hatemonger. There is no forgiveness for stuff like this in the callout culture Trudeau enthusiastically embraces. But while I don't much care about the racism angle it does reinforce, to me, and I suspect to most world leaders who already are of the opinion that he's a shallow, virtue signaling fool, that this is not a serious person on any level. This guy goes around the world lecturing other world leaders, from China to Washington wrapped in a smug sense of superiority. As a result he's managed to alienate all the world's biggest and most influential countries. These pictures will just make them smirk. They will extend Canada's bad reputation, though, to a number of developing countries who, like Russia, China, India and the US, will now treat Canada with less respect. We've already seen that from the likes of Saudi Arabia and the Philippines. We'll see more of it if he is elected. https://ca.rogers.yahoo.com/news/justin-trudeau-brownface-scandal-005529763.html
