  1. No you go ahead and have your day in the sun, mock away i'm sure that's what some conservatives would be doing right now if the situation was reversed... To suggest that after 8 years of liberal rule, a lot of that rage posting was unjustified is just you making excuses to throw shade....Liberal actions over 8 plus years deserve to be highlighted when they can be... While it is a liberal win, Carney is going to find out just how hard it is to govern as a minority government, making some of his plans and promises not possible without selling his sole to once again the NDP... Not sure if the next NDP leader is going to see this as an opportunity seeing what happened to the last NDP leader...but who knows... Not sure how PP can govern over a party without a presence in parliament, and will he take over another riding not sure if thats the right choice either.... he has had his chance and unfortunately he has failed to form government....perhaps he will see that and take that walk into the wilderness, the next question would be WHO will replace him...i think it is to early for that right now. but the search should at least begin

  2. Sore winners, wow... Politics isn't a spectator sport, like Canada's biggest loser or lingerie football. Although many would like it to be.

  3. Carney is a sick man who will now target the old lady's church land just like his hero Joe Biden Ctv is a bunch of sickos. CBC is a joke Time to leave Canada and let Eastern Canadians continue to claim moral superiority as they get caught in scandal after scandal. Too many sickos down east

  4. And pray for our leaders, and the battle ahead. It was an exciting night, but couldn't keep awake waiting whether it's a majority or minority. Congratulations to Liberal-supporting members.

  5. There were some tensions within the party and between the Federal and Provincial Conservatives. There could be issues among them, that we don't know about. A pundit had suggested that Ford would want to become leader of the Federal Conservatives, and run for Prime Minister in the next election. Poilievre might have to step down as leader. I was thinking Lisa Raitt, might make a come-back and become leader. Your thoughts.

Here is a selection of childish topics: Carney vows to bring together all Canadians, Can start by returning the lyrics in O Canada to "in all thy sons command" Time for Western separation Quebec's push to throw you in the slammer for saying a prayer at your picnic Shrine to wokeism closed down:

  8. The lieberals and the CBC used the fear that Trump was the bogeyman and the older people fell for it. It does not much matter now because the damage has been done and the liberal Marxist dictatorship are in again. The old Canada is now gone and it will be replaced by the WEF globalist elite ilk and Corney is very much pro-China. And Canada will now be flooded even more with massive third world unwanted immigrant invasion. Another decade and Canada will start to look like a third world country. It has started already. Look around. The war has begun between America and Canada and only Canadians will be doing the suffering. What have those imbeciles done to Canada who voted for Corney. 👎

  9. Canada sucks indeed. They say it was the old people 65 and up that gave their vote to Corney because they were brainwashed by the lying and fake leftist liberal Canadian media into believing that Trump was the big bad bogeyman. It is the old folks that handed the country over to the WEF globalist ilk and China and Corney. We are all now going to pay big time for their stupidity. And here we have been told all our lives that we should listen to older people. It is obvious to me now that they do not know anything. I think that the older people get, the dumber they get. Thanks all you elders for your service and what you have done to finish off Canada today. It was a very dumb thing you have done. Now go to your room and stay there. You have caused enough problems for today already. 🤣

  11. I saw somewhere on Twitter someone suggesting the NDP rigged the election. I guess by not voting for the NDP and splitting the vote like they normally do.

  12. "Fake" meaning... "incorrect" or that someone cooked the books ? Conspiracies are hard to manage, but there's something to be said for an elusive public that rejects the establishment and simultaneously rejects their measurement techniques. AmIright ?

  13. You mean the two prairie provinces, correct? BC, Yukon and MB seemed to elect plenty of Libs and don’t seem to be party to the grievance culture of the prairies. Saying “the west” seems to exaggerate the problem.

  14. Weeks into the campaign and Trump's tariff war, he was still throwing his slogans around and verbing the noun. He was still railing about woke this, woke that, radical left this, radical left that. This was an own-goal of epic proportions. Pierre's fluffers are out there trying to paint this as a big win for them because he increased the CPC's vote, but the bigger story is that he increased the Liberal vote by even more. 🫠

  15. Yes, polling is difficult, but if the pollsters had a conspiracy to tank the CPC campaign, they wouldn't have been saying they're 25 points ahead the last two years. You don't always have to look for a conspiracy every time you lose. You should try growing up and accepting that sometimes you lose fair and square

  16. Justin Trudeau was arguably the worst PM in Canada's history. Huge deficit, conflicts galore, etc., etc., etc. PM Carney was at that time a part of that poor government. Canadian voters endorsed Mark Carney, so in essence, Canadian voters are ok, and approve of all the antics of the Trudeau government, but they just grew weary of Justin Trudeau. PM Mark Carney has the voters approval to carry on with the lies and deception Justin Trudeau left as his legacy. Begs the question: Are the voting Canadian public just stupid?

  19. Canada has nothing to offer the West. At one point it did, but like any relationship ending in divorce the values just don't align. Eastern Canada decided to install the most classless, corrupt political party again because "Trump". Very sick and I can't support crooks.

  24. If you can point to which part of Dad Kapital Marx wrote about converting to electric vehicles? I'm really hoping that all the parties change, to become more collaborative. I don't see the Liberals going back to the moralism that help bring Trudeau down and I hope Conservatives can return to the pragmatic functionalism that has marked every great conservative PM that we have had. I don't know if Carney is going to be able to weather the political economic storm that's coming, but even if he's out in one year he can do a lot for the country by bringing up the level of dialogue between the factions.

  25. I woke up this morning to a phone call from my daughter. She's at home crying because she saw a Conservative win as the last chance for her to buy a home and raise a family in Canada. That hope is dashed by gutless wonders who cast votes for a liar and a thief. The carney is gonna sell all your asses out and you chickenshit fools don't even realize it. TDS seems to be the condition of Canada and Canadians. I don't like scared little men. I find them annoying and destined for failure. So congarats chickenshits. You will get what you've just paid for.

  26. Provincial parties and Federal parties rarely were on the same page. The conservatives seem to have gone a bit too far right in my opinion. Canadians have never been far left or right and that is what made Canada as great as it was. The more and more we become "Democrats and Republicans" the more we will split up. Provincial leaders are too concerned about their turf and will not make good national leaders. Eby ...BC only. Smith ...Alberta only, Ford... Ontario

  30. That just about sums up everything in a nutshell. Instead of focusing on Trudeau, Conservatives should have spent their energy focusing on the Liberal party. Otherwise, when Trudeau's replaced.... problem disappears.

  31. It was thanks to PP that the carbon tax is gone. Corney only did it also for the votes. The carbon tax will be back in some other form of tax. You dumb ass lieberals are such stoopid human beings. You will believe anything the lieberal party or the lying leftist lieberal media tells you. It was the leftist lieberal Canadian media that gave PP a hard time. If the lieberal media were honest and truthful the media would not have attacked PP so much. But this is what we get when the globalist elite ilk in Canada control our Canadian leftist media. The Canadian media is just another Pravda like controlled communist rag that they had in the old Stalinist Russia. Go away, stink bug. 😛

  32. PP couldn't pivot. He built the entire narrative around a Carbon tax and JT. Once those things were removed from the equation, he didn't have much. But he did have a long track record of Trumpist rhetoric that rubbed people the wrong way.
    1 point
  33. Thanks, dummy. 1) The reason that he wasn't talking about woke BS this year (CBC even noted that) is because left4rds turned down their woke rhetoric after Kamala lost. Left4rds used to think that being a useless liar with some fake polling and 24/7 MSM propaganda was enough to win elections, but actual polling in the US showed that crap like "people shouldn't be allowed to say 'mom' anymore" wasn't winning hearts and minds. That's how dumb you guys are ffs, you needed to conduct polls to figure that out. 2) If he was talking about wokeness when his popularity theoretically surged to infinity and beyond, then it didn't bring him down to the popularity of dogcrap and cancer just because of Trump, and then suddenly make a miraculous recovery right before the election becauuuuuse, what? Why the surge in the polls at the end, if not just to make the polls seem more accurate?

  35. 1. I can't see most of the posts you refer to due to the IGNORE function. 2. Go ahead, but it's not a wholesome pleasure IMO...it's back to the tedious back-and-forth that true dialogue should alleviate. 3. Ok 4. He could snipe at every move the government makes, and eventually swoop in and win an election which would rightfully be attributed to external factors. And then all of the vultures you're currently mocking would lick their chops and have a laugh at YOUR expense. The wheel in the sky turns forever....

  36. I think where he actually did a good job was in places like Windsor where he was able to flip NDP to CPC, broke into the 905, and how he was more in-tune with younger folk. The problem is that those gains were overshadowed by the fact that he got even more people to vote against him. He grew the Liberal vote more than he grew the Conservative one, and that's no-bueno. I think the telling part of all of this is that at the ending stage of the campaign where the CPC started to gain ground in (especially in Ontario), was when they removed Poilievre entirely from the advertisements and messaging. The commercials during the Leafs games didn't even mention him.
    1 point
  37. Maybe but then they'll just change the leader, find the new boogeyman like Trump, and eastern Canadians will just vote them in again like brainwashed fools
    1 point
  38. Compared to who? He's not even really progressive in the context of the CPC. He spends way too much time and energy railing about "woke radical left ideology" for that statemen to be credible. You're right about this, but for the wrong reasons. Poilievre lost because he borrowed too much from Trump, and sounded too much like Trump. If he hadn't spent the last 3 years calling people names, circling the conspiracy vortex, playing culture-war and repeating 3-word MAGA-style slogans ad-nauseum, the comparison wouldn't have stuck. Worse, however, is how he couldn't (or wouldn't) pivot when these all became liabilities. He just kept running it down the middle.

  39. You're right. Poilievre did lose the race by not growing a spine and publicly calling out the carney as a liar and a thief. I am incredibly disappointed in him and his election team. They looked a gift horse in the mouth...so to speak. Poilievre should have had ads all over the place exposing the carney for what he is and for stealing the axe the tax platform. As for Canada...I'm tired of waiting and hoping that next time will be different. Canadians have grown woke and soft. The carney is gonna fck this country dry and Canadians will take it willingly.

  40. That's the positive spin on what happened here, which is that they lost the election where they had everything going for them. They couldn't have asked for more fertile ground than this. A decent number of those seats went to the conservatives, but either way, the transfer of NDP/Bloc/Green vote to the Liberals wasn't a fluke. It was because of Poilievre. The dude lost his seat too, which is just
    1 point
  41. That's your cope. The voting Canadian public just really doesn't like Pierre Poilievre. There's more to being Prime MInister than Verb-the-Noun. I said during the Conservative leadership campaign that if they wanted to lose the next election, Pierre Poilievre was one of the only guys that could make it happen. The most telling part of all of this is that even a lot of the folks who voted for Carney probably agree with you on the Liberal record. The worst PM that Canada's ever had was Pierre Trudeau...until his buffoon son picked up the mantle. Taking the leaders out of question, the Liberals weren't polling much past 25%, even with Trump on the horizon. That would have been a bloodbath, but Pierre "brought it home"...just for the wrong party.

  42. Oh Blackturd, suck it up..you lost LOL Calling names will get you nowhere. One thing for sure, the majortity of Canadians realize Carney and the Libs are better suited to fight Trump and make Canada independent of our southern neighbours.. His obsession with Trudeau made Canadians realize he is a one trick pony PP even lost hos own seat...that he held for 20 years. . His own constituents realized he is incapable of leading LOL You have 4 to 5 years to be bitter...it is going to be fun watching you squirm LOL

  45. Not that much more money and it is not a "patient" we are talking about, these are people who have been convicted of crimes harming others who shouldn't be let back out on the streets... and many of these cases are not one off's, they are repeat offenders. It should not be taken lightly to just let mentally ill people prone to violence left to their own devices hoping they don't murder people.
