  1. The person who testified at the city council about Haitians eating pets was literally a neo-Nazi. And that woman was not an immigrant. That child was killed in a car accident and his parents don't appreciate him being used as a political prop by the likes of Vance. Except most of the immigrants aren't illegal and they aren't causing problems. In fact they're helping revitalize a town that was dying. "These Haitians came in here to work because there were jobs, and they filled a lot of jobs," DeWine told CBS News in an interview Wednesday. "And if you talk to employers, they've done a very, very good job and they work very, very hard." More like it doesn't take much to get stupid Republicans to believe racist garbage that appeals to their base bigotry.

  2. That's not true. Biden is an Incumbent POTUS so there's no way the party could primary him, but it was obvious the grassroots enthusiasm for him had gone away. To the point that him being at the top of the ticket hurt down ballot candidates. That's why he was encouraged to step down. Waltz and Harris have captured enthusiasm from their party.

  3. Cowardly Trump Says He Will Not Debate Kamala Again Ha! Trump, who lost the 2020 Presidential Election by over seven million votes, and performed like a senile old fool in his last debate, today posted that he will not debate Kamala Harris again. Terrified of having his ass handed to him again, Trump will instead go to rallies half-filled with nursing home patients and Klansmen. Donald Trump is a coward.

  5. As a conservative I take no offense to this joke. The actions of so-called conservatives are almost enough to drive me to THE LEFT 😮 THAT SAID, there are two parties on these boards: the stupid and non-stupid. The non-stupid make defensible arguments that I can at least understand. Even if I don't agree, I recognize a viewpoint that is based on some value and principles.

  6. You're saying this as you reference randoms on Twitter, just like you've cited Facebook claims in the past. Way to play to the trope, Karen. 🤡 Here's the thing: There was plenty of stuff that Kamala said in that debate that was bogus. She just didn't say anything that was utterly, mentally retarded. I don't need the government to tell me that the idea of illegal Haitians kidnapping and then snacking on house pets is batshit crazy - that realization only requires a few synapses to fire. Alas, that's a hurdle too high for the likes of you. 🤣

  17. Huh? “Some news outlets are beholden to their marketing departments and major advertisers, some are beholden to the Kremlin. Same-same!”🙄 Absolutely they are, they are not under the control of a foreign enemy’s government At least Fox only indirectly shills for Putin by shilling for Donald Trump. One would think that one degree of separation wouldn’t make much of a difference but it does. And there is still a substantial minority of anti-Putin Republicans in the Fox News ecosystem so Fox has kept the pro-Kremlin narratives (relatively) contained since Tucker’s departure

  18. Took millions in Kremlin cash, directed to promote Kremlin propaganda including Tucker Carlson’s ridiculous Moscow supermarket visit, spread lies about Ukraine. But we’ve known all this. We’ve known Moscow has had its talons and operatives in the western world’s right wing media and conservative groups and political campaigns for well over a decade. We’ve got Kremlin stooges like Nationalist and Taxme haunting this very site. Every time the right wing says “so what doesn’t prove anything”. This is just more evidence they’ll ignore.

  19. Wait, there's more! Ten warning signs regarding people involved in/with a potentially unsafe group/leader. Extreme obsessiveness regarding the group/leader resulting in the exclusion of almost every practical consideration.✅️ Individual identity, the group, the leader and/or God as distinct and separate categories of existence become increasingly blurred. Instead, in the follower's mind these identities become substantially and increasingly fused--as that person's involvement with the group/leader continues and deepens.✅️ Whenever the group/leader is criticized or questioned it is characterized as "persecution".✅️ Uncharacteristically stilted and seemingly programmed conversation and mannerisms, cloning of the group/leader in personal behavior.✅️ Dependency upon the group/leader for problem solving, solutions, and definitions without meaningful reflective thought. A seeming inability to think independently or analyze situations without group/leader involvement.✅️ Hyperactivity centered on the group/leader agenda, which seems to supercede any personal goals or individual interests.✅️ A dramatic loss of spontaneity and sense of humor.✅️ Increasing isolation from family and old friends unless they demonstrate an interest in the group/leader.✅️ Anything the group/leader does can be justified no matter how harsh or harmful.✅️ Former followers are at best-considered negative or worse evil and under bad influences. They can not be trusted and personal contact is avoided.✅️ Ten signs of a safe group/leader. A safe group/leader will answer your questions without becoming judgmental and punitive.❌️ A safe group/leader will disclose information such as finances and often offer an independently audited financial statement regarding budget and expenses. Safe groups and leaders will tell you more than you want to know.❌️ A safe group/leader is often democratic, sharing decision making and encouraging accountability and oversight.❌️ A safe group/leader may have disgruntled former followers, but will not vilify, excommunicate and forbid others from associating with them.❌️ A safe group/leader will not have a paper trail of overwhelmingly negative records, books, articles and statements about them.❌️ A safe group/leader will encourage family communication, community interaction and existing friendships and not feel threatened.✅️ A safe group/leader will recognize reasonable boundaries and limitations when dealing with others.❌️ A safe group/leader will encourage critical thinking, individual autonomy and feelings of self-esteem.❌️ A safe group/leader will admit failings and mistakes and accept constructive criticism and advice.❌️ A safe group/leader will not be the only source of knowledge and learning excluding everyone else, but value dialogue and the free exchange of ideas❌️

  20. YOU'RE the one LYING. David Muir didn't say late term abortion doesn't exist. He said post birth executions DON'T EXIST. Way less than 1% of abortions take place in the 9th month and ALWAYS due to fatal fetal abnormalities. You're SO EASILY CONNED, what a rube. LMAO

  21. The last point about the unmarked graves may have some truth. TWO YEARS AFTER the claim rocked the world that “the remains of 215 children” had been found on the grounds of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School, we know much more than we did at the time. Probably the most important thing we now know about Kamloops is that 2,000 linear feet of trenches about 3 feet deep lined with clay tiles and running east-west were dug in 1924 as a septic field to dispose of the school’s sewage. Ground penetrating radar (GPR) cannot distinguish between a trench lined with clay tiles and a putative child’s grave. The GPR profile is very similar. Unfortunately Dr. Sarah Beaulieu, Assistant Professor of Social, Cultural & Media Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley, didn’t know about the 1924 septic field when she did her GPR work at the former residential school as she hadn’t done the necessary archival research beforehand. She thus mistook the old septic field trenches for shallow children’s graves, and the fact that they ran east-west for proof that they were Christian burials. Read Project 2025 and the plan to fire 10,000 civil servant and to replace them with people loyal to Trump. Last time the Military leaders wouldn't set aside their oath to defend the constitution next time those not loyal to Trump won't be there.

  26. I think the conversation in this thread has entirely missed the point. A celebrity endorsement isn't meant--or expected--to change anyone's mind. It's meant to raise awareness. It's meant to add energy and enthusiasm. It's meant to add a "cool factor" and social cachet to a candidate or cause. That's the entire point of the "influencer" industry. Influencers are powerful marketing tools, and Swift is among the most powerful influencers. Swift is particularly valuable an endorsement because she has enormous reach with a voter demographic (young women) that a) is not naturally politically active and b) predisposed to break heavily for Harris. She's activating inactive voters. And that's why this endorsement matters. More than 337,000 people visit Taylor Swift's link to register to vote That's the number in one day. The concrete, trackable, attributable number, not even considering the untracked effects. That's why it matters.

  30. Oh? Let me quote your favorite lying sack of shlt from last night’s debate: ”They even have, and you can look at the governor of West Virginia, the previous governor of West Virginia, not the current governor, who's doing an excellent job, but the governor before. He said the baby will be born and we will decide what to do with the baby. In other words, we'll execute the baby. And that's why I did that [supported a 6-week abortion ban], because that predominates. Because they're radical. The Democrats are radical in that. And her vice presidential pick, which I think was a horrible pick, by the way for our country, because he is really out of it. But her vice presidential pick says abortion in the ninth month is absolutely fine. He also says execution after birth, it's execution, no longer abortion, because the baby is born, is okay. “ You can’t keep your lies straight, can you?

  32. 1) “Donated”? So you admit that suckers who BOUGHT TS shares thinking they were purchasing something of value were actually just “donating” money to Teump? 2) So you’re too poor to “donate” but you encouraged others to when you said The best way to help Trump, and yourself, is to invest in Truth Social - that way it becomes a win/win! And what about when you said “you’re just getting in” to buying TS shares” and that “indicators do show that it is taking off,” that “you’re helping” Trump, that you’ll “keep us posted on this investment”. That was all bullshit? What’s hilarious in reading that thread is how absolutely stupid and clueless you look talking up that stock and attacking us all with your juvenile sexualized insults whenever we tried to give you a dose of reality and educate your stupid ignorant ass.

  34. I disagree. News channels (and debate moderators as an extension) have a social responsibility for their platforms. They give the people who appear on the networks a massive megaphone and the power to reach and influence millions of people. These organizations SHOULD be obligated to call out blatant misinformation. The moderators did a good and fair job. 1. The moderators didn't "fact check" proposals or opinions or characterizations or spin. 2. They didn't do it very much at all--maybe 4 or 5 times over the course of 90 minutes. 3. They stuck to VERY basic facts--a basic shared reality. ETA: They could have done a dozen more. Best economy ever? Nope. Highest inflation ever? Nope. Etc. Etc. -- They showed remarkable restraint, actually. Ex. Trump starts talking about post-birth "abortions" which is pure nonsense. Moderator gently steers back to reality: "There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born." ^^Does reminding the debaters--and the public--of this basic fact serve the public? Yes, it does. There really is no reason to let him lie to their audience.

  42. If anyone has the stomach to look further into the Rotherdam rape gangs, it's absolutely horrifying. It wasn't just that one city, it was happening in quite a few cities and involved girls as young as 11 yrs old - groomed, drugged and raped repeatedly. Thousands of girls. And nothing was done about it. Some of the girls and young women have to walk around town seeing their rapists every day. Yet the Brits who are rioting now are painted as right-wing extremists. In reality, the public in the UK, and in Canada and the US and other countries have been BEGGING politicians to stop bringing in people from these cultures for at least a decade and the politicians have ignored their citizens. DEI and extreme left-wing woke policies on immigration are destroying the West.

  43. The Canadian homicide rate is 3 times lower than the American rate, in spite of America having the death penalty. The death penalty is not a deterrant to murder. The USA is a perfect example to this. The same thing happens in the United States, when the inmate appeals or tries to overturn their death sentence. Ths situation is not "out of control." The crime rate peaked in 1991 in North America, and declined until the mid 2010s. Currently, the crime rate is about what it was at in the late 1990s. And of course, Canada has a much lower violent crime rate than the USA. Winnipeg, the most violent city in Canada, would barely make the top 100 most violent cities list in America. We copied much of our law from the UK, which is a relatively safe country. We should be looking looking towards Europe, where the justice system is superior to America, which does not work. We need to focus on what is best for society. That would affect due process, and the right to a fair trial for the accused. There ahve been countless examples of people being wrongfully convicted of crimes they did not do.
