  1. Nobody cares. You won’t find that Joe slept with porn stars, stole classified documents, refused to release his tax returns, incited riots… there’s nothing there. Sorry.

  2. What is surprising is just how many Canadians don't give a rats A$$, that this issue could easily transfer to any piece of private property. "Well as long as they are not picking on me, seem to be the most popular answer. maybe one day when they take their head out of their A%% only to find out the next time it could be something they own...

  3. I agree with Eyeball here the commission is not about who is at fault, but there should be something done on this side of the equation. although there was a lot of fingers pointing on who screwed up and who did not, including from the PM. The commission was about did the government meet all the requirements to use the EMA. And examine all the resons why it was needed. We all knew the outcome before day one of the commission, nobody is going to lose their jobs, or any punishment be dealt out, Liberal government will come out of this as always, smelling like shitty roses, we would have wasted countless millions on a commission we did not really need. What it will do is set precedence for the next government, the EMA will be much easier to use, knowing beforehand the consequences of using it in the first place. The government did not even meet the definition of what is required by the federal government's official definition and policy laid out already, instead they used CSIS definition as it was less descriptive, easier to manipulate, maybe those loopholes can be closed. One has to ask how many other examples are their out there with these loopholes.

  5. I know i have seen the article posted by someone else, i don't mean to steal your thunder i just thought it could use its own topic of discussion. Today as they the committee was reviewing amendments, for the handgun ban bill. they conservative make a brutal discovery. Catching the liberal/ NDP is an act of deception and lies. but first i want to dial it back, a bit first. i remember a discussion i had on here about what was to be included in the original "assault gun ban" and the discussion revolved around what that included, rumors had it it included airsoft, replicate guns, pellet guns and BB guns, there was many articles out there about how large this airsoft industry was, so the liberals/ NDP back tracked on these few look a likes, the liberals are getting very good at this deception, today i found out that those were included in the amendments and are now part of the ban. if it looks like, feels like smells like a real military weapon it is gone, banned, history. skippin forward, today the committee was looking at all the proposed amendment when they came upon an Amendment G4 , which goes on to state all semi-automatic weapons that have the ability to have a magazine attached are now classified as Banned, this includes shot guns, bolt action rifles, .22 cal bolt actions, thousands of different types, that's not all, becasue it is an amendment it cannot have any Finacial means attached to it, meaning NO buy back is planned, just that they are going to be illegal hand them in thank you very much. The liberals promised they would not attack Hunters or their tools in any way, and here we sit, with thousands of new rifles attached to the "handgun bill". and what is really scary this amendment was backed by liberals / NDP/and Block. most of these banned weapons don't even look like anything the military has, they are banned becasue most are magazine feed, or could be modified to hold more than 5 rounds, or they are semi autos...like duck guns, or deer hunting rifles. It has nothing to do with safety and more about division. I wonder why they have to resort to deceiving the nation into believing this huge lie of keeping Canadians safer. And we wonder why Canadians have little faith in our experts who have been bought and paid for by the government to promote another boondoggle like this one. instead of pouring resources into preventing criminal activities, we as a nation like to punish ourselves by sticking it to law bidding gun owners. the point is that while nobody really cares about a few gun owners, but this could be about any personal property we own, and how easy it is for the government to take it away, with or without compensation. you have no property rights, And it is already happening in some cities as they ban fossil fuel powered tools like lawn mowers, leaf blowers chain saws etc.. Canadians will continue to stick their heads up their asses until someone slaps their and says you're going to feel some slight discomfort for a few seconds... Anyways there is some good news Alberta has already told Justin none of this is going to happen in Alberta, they would not use RCMP to confiscate or managed this gun grab and have joined the legal case against the feds to challenge if this is legal. in the first-place rumor has it Saskatchewan is also joining the fight. I am so done with this liberal / NDP/ leftist movement we need an election... and on this front there are rumors, that the liberals might be preparing for a spring election... It's coming from the conservatives, but i can't imagine why, it makes no sense to me, they have nothing to gain. unless they are cutting ties with the NDP maybe...anyways one can hope...

  6. Officially, yes, but the Senate was in the process of voting to revoke it themselves. He just stepped in to save face because he didn't want it to go down in the books as "squashed by the Senate". Some things needed to be stalled. It was a joke the way things went down. Our government's complete control over "whether or not we have access to our own money" is way beyond acceptable.

  10. What potential GOP investigation matters at all? The Dems are investigating Sedition, Obstruction of Justice, and Theft of Classified documents. These are serious crimes, they’ve had a LOT of convictions already, including three sedition convictions, and these crimes go all the way to the top. What crimes are the GOP going after? Hunter Biden cheated on his taxes? Big deal! What voter would decide not to vote Democrat because of that? They have a bunch of “connect the dot” claims to Joe Biden but no evidence that can be used in a courtroom. Truly, it’s just a bunch of hot air, like, “You investigated our guy so we’ll investigate your guy.” Here’s the other thing: Do Congressmen really want to go down the path of opening criminal investigations of their children for using their parent’s positions to gain influence? Because a lot of congressmen have kids. It’s not a pretty path to go down.

  11. You're making fun of someone because they're "unintelligent and uneducated" and you said this next: "Jethro's such as yourself". FYI the plural of Jethro would just be Jethros. Jethro's means that Jethro owns something.

Can you see the irony in your own comment: "unintelligent, uneducated Jethro's such as yourself. ..." Can you even see how you were hoisted on your own petard there? I doubt it. Hint: it's definitely time for you to switch usernames again, you've proven yourself the complete fool after just 284 posts lol.

  14. First, I don't think Fertilizer Canada is a reliable source on this topic, for the obvious conflict of interest it represents. For example, they like to talk about how efficiently Canada uses fertilizer compared to "European Competitors", but it cherry-picks the countries it compares favorably to and bizarrely ignores all of the European countries that do much better, or the the United States for that matter. Though I will agree that government setting arbitrary targets without industry consultation is silly, I suspect that's not exactly how it went down. Regardless, even Fertilizer Canada has acknowledged that a 14% reduction is achievable, and coming from a lobby group invested in promoting fertilizer usage, I think we can reasonably assume they're estimating on the low end. Considering this is essentially the gap in nitrogen efficiency between Canada and the US, it's not hard to imagine that we can improve farming practices beyond that. Finally, the target isn't even mandatory/enforceable. It's voluntary. The whole project is aimed towards educating farmers on how not to waste fertilizer and making sure it gets absorbed by crops, rather than wasted into the atmosphere. Experiments around the world have shown that you can increase yields while decreasing nitrogen use when you're applying it properly and at the right times.

  17. It's sort of like the arbitrary disparity between sentencing for crack cocaine and powder cocaine. If someone throws a brick through a store window necessitating a $400 replacement that person is an "animals" But if you disrupt the supply chain to the same store and the business loses thousands of dollars you're a peaceful patriot. But sure, not racist, lol.

  19. I love that you get your energy policy analysis from a supermarket tabloid. I guarantee that everyone in the oil and gas industry would love to use current high prices and public pressure as a lever to get favorable concessions from Biden. But I can also assure you that they are not waiting around for Biden's permission or encouragement to make money in the global marketplace. Record profits, people, record profits. And near-record production.

  20. Our hypocritical village ijjit just told the government of China: "Do the opposite of what I'd do in that situation!" I feel like I need a shower for doing this, but I'm gonna drop a load of BS from CTV here, some of which is actually true for once: https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/trudeau-expresses-support-for-chinese-protesters-as-show-of-dissent-roils-beijing-1.6173296 1) No, our government absolutely does not stand with people who peacefully express themselves, as we saw in Ottawa, so that was a total lie from groper. 2) Our government has had at least two journalists assaulted by the RCMP, David Menzies and Alexa Lavoie, neither of whom was as bad as David Acosta on a good day (Trump never had him assaulted, but CNN acted like he was assaulted when a girl took a mic from him lol). There are probably several more Rebel News reporters who've been beaten by police here but I don't know. He also lavishes money on sycophant media which has the effect of starving out the competition. 3) That's the pillow-fight version of calling out our PM's blatant hypocrisy, 4) but then they add their own lies to the story to mitigate the extent of Trudeau's d-baggery even further: "rage fuelled by conspiracy theories" lol. There wasn't an ounce of rage over anything conspiratorial ffs. The rage was about bogus gov't mandates, pure and simple. It was about forcing people to take a worthless shot with dangerous side-effects.

  26. But you guys also hate natural gas too, don't you? I don't think anyone who disagrees with my points read a link I posted earlier. Three things Biden has done that increased gas prices | Washington Examiner Since taking office, Biden has taken too many steps to count to limit domestic production. These include halting federal permits for oil and gas drilling and leasing shortly after taking office and blocking drilling in a major oil-rich Alaskan region. To be clear, these decisions will mostly affect future production. But that does still significantly affect gas prices because companies factor in their expectations about the future into the decisions they make today. “Some say that new leases … would have taken time and would not yet be online, but even so, there is evidence that expectations of increased future supply has a beneficial impact on current prices and expectations of future supply drying up has a negative impact on current prices,” the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Ben Lieberman said. “At a day-to-day level, I am hearing from drillers that they are having a very hard time getting all the approvals they need from [the Environmental Protection Agency] and other agencies in order to produce on existing wells, and of course, new federal leasing has come to a halt,” Lieberman added. It’s just basic economics that when the government throttles future supply in an industry, that will lead to higher prices both now and in the future. Biden was warned by many critics at the time that this would happen, but he proceeded anyway.

  29. People can hate on America but they won’t Seaver ties because they know America is a powerhouse, they will talk shit on the internet about Americans being loud and whatever, but they won’t do anything to Americans in real time. Canada’s biggest ally is the US, we ware right next to them, if they got into something we would help, because that’s what we do. We don’t sit back and let people burn and get killed and stripped of their rights, because we stand for human rights not just American rights, that’s why I personally donated a lot of money to other conflicts in the world, people that say it’s none of their business can just sit in their shell and get off the internet, because someone has to help or it won’t stop. Anywho, it’s time to say it straight, the people who complain about Americans and their government are hypocrites, you say to mind your own business, yet your all over America for every decision they make. Another thing, the people that hate on America, can’t do anything about what their saying, they just run their mouth on the internet, but if they meet an American in real time, you think they are going to have the same attitude? No they won’t. where I live in America, we litteraly have Canadian flags waving through the air next to our American flags, we don’t hate Canadians. The reasons people have for hating Americans are so utterly immature that I cringe when I see them.

  35. Canadian firearm policies are way out there already, one can never defend themselves with a firearm, even a show of force is illegal and will end up with confiscation of firearm and charges being laid. Kill someone in your home while defending your family, will result in your arrest, and jail time until a court of law can determine if lethal force was warranted. it is not guaranteed you were in the right, here the bad guys have the rights the victims well you have to wait for police to show up, according to the law they don't care if your family is under serious threat. But you can beat the life out of them with a hockey stick.

  36. I have had a fascination with the long con for years, ever since I saw The Sting. I have to hand it to President Trump. A long con is complex when aimed at a single victim but to con tens of millions of people at the same time takes real talent. The problem is, a long con requires precise timing. There comes a point when the grifter and his shills have to blow off the mark and disappear. In this case, that moment should have been on Nov. 7, 2020, when the networks called the race for President Biden. If President Trump had stuck to that timing, it would have been the scam of the century. He fell into the trap that falls on many grifters, they get greedy. Hubris is the hero that foils more villains than the Lone Ranger. I say this as an interested observer, and I am not trying to tell Americans how to vote.

  39. The article is all true. Anti-regime protesters so far have been peaceful especially in Kurdistan and Zahedan where the regime cracked down real hard and many peaceful protesters were shot to death for simply walking in protests. They may have been isolated cases of protesters taking actions against the fully armed and violent guards and plain cloth Basij but in general the protest has been peaceful and unarmed. One important reason is because the mainly young and women-led protesters are no match for the brutal regime. The regime is very violent and armed to teeth and very willing to use their advantage to crack down real hard by murdering many thousands and is looking for an excuse to do just that without fierce international condemnation
