  1. Quote Human CO2 is a tiny % of CO2 emissions “The oceans contain 37,400 billion tons (GT) of suspended carbon, land biomass has 2000-3000 GT. The atpmosphere contains 720 billion tons of CO2 and humans contribute only 6 GT additional load on this ba lance. The oceans, land and atpmosphere exchange CO2 continuously so the additional load by humans is incredibly small. A small shift in the balance between oceans and air would cause a CO2 much more severe rise than anything we could produce.” (Jeff Id) Unquote How do human CO2 emissions compare to natural CO2 emissions? (skepticalscience.com) quote Out of the entire atmospheric makeup, only one to two percent is made up of greenhouse gases with the majority being nitrogen (about 78 percent) and oxygen (about 21 percent). Of that two percent, “planet-killing” carbon dioxide comprises only 3.62 percent while water vapor encompasses 95 percent. And of the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, humans cause only 3.4 percent of annual CO2 emissions. What does this all boil down to? As shown by the accompanying graph, not very much. Indeed, anthropogenic effects are real but carbon is such a small portion of the natural cycle, and let’s not forget both the sun and carbon are needed for natural cycles that are good for the earth such as photosynthesis—the process by which plants turn sunlight, water and carbon dioxide into carbohydrates. (For more, check out this Global Warming Primer published by the National Center for Policy Analysis.) Perhaps the most alarming part is the price tag associated with attempting to reduce such a small part of the atmosphere and something we really cannot control. Our analysis shows the cumulative GDP losses for 2010 to 2029 approach $7 trillion. Single-year losses exceed $600 billion in 2029, more than $5,000 per house¬hold. Job losses are expected to exceed 800,000 in some years, and exceed at least 500,000 from 2015 through 2026. It is important to note that these are net job losses, after any jobs created by compliance with the regulations–so-called green jobs–are taken into account. In total, the “climate revenue” (read: energy tax) could approach two trillion over eight years. Keep in mind, this is all for negligible environmental benefits. The science behind global warming is anything but conclusive. Many leading climatologists conclude that climate models aren’t incredibly accurate and even have different opinions (for instance whether it is the sun or oceanic changes) as to what the dominant causes are of global warming and cooling. Nevertheless, it’s easy to pretend the science on global warming is conclusive when environmentalist extremists suppress dissenting opinions. Economist Walter Williams provides a few examples and draws an interesting parallel: There’s a much more important issue that poses an even greater danger to mankind. Unquote Man’s Contribution to Global Warming (dailysignal.com) You should try Google and learn a few basic facts before spouting nonsense. Man's contribution is negligible. You could easily have learned that long ago. Ignorance is bliss.

Funney how most other seasonal workers work different jobs all year round...they like feeding families, and contributing.. the Maritimes are full of guys like you how ever , always chirping about hard working people, or not getting your share of government programs... I grew up with lots of guys like you, their either died fishing or moved on to bigger things in life, like real jobs...

  3. Here is a new concept, just inland there are jobs not related to fishing industry, and i know this is going to shock you but they are year round..... It is your choice to live on the governments tits, that is on you...not the system, or the fishery.... we have freedom of movement in this country... you can move anytime you want... PS you're not entitled to a job in a preferred town or neighborhood, or industry... suck it up butter cup, get a moving van and move.... It is the systems fault, reach down between your legs and give those peanuts a squeeze, are you a man or a boy....step up be a man get off the government tits, we the rest of the taxpayers are getting tired of carrying your ass...ITS NOY MY FAULT...wtf...

  4. Try to get the greenies to explain all of earths ice ages? Covered in ice to the equators? What caused them. Better yet, what caused all the ice to disappear and melt? Too many dinosaur farts? Maybe there is an earth cycle that has something to do with global warming?

  5. How many Americans don't get news from any source? I would put US television news on the same level as Facebook, you tube and twitter. The best source for credible news is newspapers. None are perfect but they are more credible than anything on television.

  6. Lots of build up in regards to boosting our military spending in this budget, the Defense minister had proposed 3 options, exceed 2 % GDP, Meet GDP, or fall short of 2% GDP, i know we all basically knew which ones before the ink even dried.... fall short on everything seems to be the liberal mantra now a days... Even the media seem to be twisting this new move as triumph, boosting our Current 1.34 % of GDP to 1.50 , but everyone is forgetting that every year our economy grows or shrink's 1.34 was the number we used years ago, and 6.2 bil over 5 years is not going to get it to 1.50 if we take into account our economic growth... How much air did Justin waste puffing his chest up in front of NATO and telling them , This is the year we will meet our targets....only to have all the wind let out of everyone's sails....I know all the liberal crowd are are going to try and spin this as something good,,,, i say let the games begin... It is all big lie...it's always been a big lie.... COMMENTARY: Budget 2022 comes ‘nowhere close’ the Liberals’ lofty rhetoric on defence spending (msn.com)

  7. 1. Remember when the doctors and scientists who talked about natural immunity were branded "conspiracy theorists" and those of us who posted information on natural immunity were "fact-checked" as being wrong? Turns out, in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - Pfizer, the CDC and the FDA all knew natural immunity was true and was better than the vaccine. 2. Remember when anyone who said there were serious adverse events happening in age groups who were at no risk of dying from covid and you all said they were "Tinfoil hatters" and called the events "rare" or the people who experienced them "liars" and refused to read the studies or look at the videos because they were on platforms you didn't like? Turns out, in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - Pfizer already knew that AE's happened more frequently in younger age groups AND increased as the more shots you got. 3. Remember when anyone who said the vaccines were not studied for fertility in either men or women, pregnancy, or nursing and suggested we needed more studies before we started forcing pregnant women to vaccinate? Remember when the media kept saying it was perfectly safe during pregnancy and women risked dying or their infant dying if they didn't get the jabs? Turns out in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - "The effects of the covid-19 vaccine on a pregnancy, a fetus or a nursing child are not known." Turns out - babies died in the study. But we dont' know how many because they "lost track" of 238 out of the 270 pregnant women in the study. 4. Remember when doctors and scientists who talked about ADE (where you take the vaccine and end up being sick much worse than you would have been without it) were shamed and blacklisted and censored? Turns out, in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - "It cannot be ruled out that the study vaccine could make a later covid illness more severe." Turns out - this is actually happening, too. (See the above Ontario data or any other country's data.)

  9. Another thing that's increased the cost are the standards to which new buildings need to be constructed. Around here people need to take earthquake measures into account. This means hiring geo-technical engineers to oversee the construction of the foundations. Another is that an owner who chooses to construct their own building has to take a course and pass tests before the building permit is issued and live in the house for a year before selling it.

  18. Well the next Forrest fire or flood you can sit on top of your roof top and tell your self atleast i got good teeth...It still astonishes me how little Canadians know what their military does for them every day every hour....and it is not 8 bil, but 6.8 bil over 5 years...Our defense department is the way it is becasue that is exactly how Canadians think they want it...
    1 point
  19. The announced defense spending was a huge let down, in everyway...Then Canadians should have the brains to research what that would mean, or what it would mean to simply trash the entire concept....But who is going to do all the jobs that have been dumped on the Military, SAR, major drug interdiction at sea and air, fishier patrols, assistance to Coast Guard, assistance for flood, forest fires, or any natural disasters, who is going to assist the RCMP when things get out of hand, like OKA....Or we should have the balls to simply pack it all in, if we are not going to train them, or equip them then we should not be allowed to use them in any military matter really ....modern equipment saves lives... why is that so hard to wrap our brains around....Canadian lives...and if they are not worth saving, none of us are worth saving.. But then again it is cheaper to bury them, than to equip them so they can come home to their families... It is this thinking that makes me disappointed to be a Canadian...each year our government accepts thousands of new recruits, who bought into the idea, that they would be serving a larger than life organization one tasked with protecting our sovereignty, our foreign policies, every Canadian on the planet...they ask for little in return, but for most Canadians that is way to much, shit we can't even give our vets the same rights and benefits as every other Canadians already has...it is not that every Canadians does not know of their plight, becasue the media runs these stories routinely. It has to be they don't care, we have entered a era where we can spend 4 to 500 bil a year and not blink, but can not mange to slip in a few billion to look after vets, or throw them a bone and equip the military with a few modern toys so our sons and daughters can come back home...

  25. Not really. There is no way to determine if man is causing global warming because man only contributes 3% of the total greenhouse (CO2) in the atmosphere. The other 97% of CO2 is natural. Therefore it has been impossible to prove man is the cause. Man is blamed simply because it is in human nature to blame mankind for everything and now including the weather and climate. Besides it is a good excuse for the U.N. to extort more money from developed nations to give to the rest of the world.

  26. There’s no way of knowing how much of that change in PPM is due to naturally occurring phenomena such as sunspot activity, volcanic activity, orbital distance, whether we are moving towards or away from an ice age, etc. We are more impacted by climate phenomena due to our higher global population. Don’t worry about that, as world population is set to start declining sharply after 2050. Our decreased population and technological advances will reduce emissions. No need to crush families with the Existence Tax (carbon taxes).

  27. Yeah I think that Kamala's biography is going to have some glaring omissions in it and be highly glossed-over lol. I can't even think of one Dem who's "presidential". That's why all of their campaigning is based on lies/negative attack ads. Kamala is an embarrassment to black women and her only hope if she becomes POTUS is that she's gonna be compared to the weakest PUTUS in US history (probably any country's history). Talk about "Out of the frying pan...."

Most people have a collection of them... don't put to much thought into it, you'd almost have to kill someone in order to get a temporary ban , just look at some of the wingnuts on here "Crazy is the new orange"
