1. As long as our MSM is so far left there's not much the conservatives can do. If O'Toole said: "I will not recognize more than 22 genders" the hounds at CTV and CBC would compare him to Hitler, and all that we'd see in the news for the next month is glam-shots of Trudeau snot-bubble-crying and giving teddy bears to heroic 6 year olds after their sex-change surgeries. The media is the real enemy here, Trudeau is just capitalizing.

 3. Actually nobody has a plan, because there's really nothing we can do. At 1.5% less the 30% they talk about, its chump change. Asia is opening up 600 coal fired plants. I read where the sheep say we need to quit financing coal producers, well guess who is the top 10 financiers? Asia. So let cut the crap , get pipelines built and open up the oil. Our ethical oil.

 4. As you see I'm not even sure what he represents. That's why I say he's got a lot more work to do to be heard, credibly. My immediate memory of him is his anti-Thunberg rant. It was a great rant. Just not politically well considered or well timed. In politics it's not what you believe, but what you make others believe in you.

 5. I have no party in this race. I am a Progressive Conservative. I was planning to support Mr. O'Toole until the other night when he supported the Northern Gateway pipeline. It is in the wrong place. Max Bernier is stupid and ignorant. His Hells Angel girlfriend, who turned in the classified cabinet documents he left at her home, said he is a climate change denier. I would hate to think anyone would equate conservatism with ignorance and stupidity.

 6. 1. Of course, the foolish Canadians could never be credited for rejecting his policies right ? 2. How many elections will it take ? If there is an election every 4 years and he doubles his support, he'll be in minority government territory in 2033 3. You're looking for practical ideas, like withdrawing from the UN ? Ok.

 7. Yep, it’s personal, nothing more. Just want to see him lose, then he can return to the playboy set where he belongs, where he can paint his face and body black from head to toe.

 9. OK - read it. Short and powerful. There is ample reason for Canada to divorce parliament and the PMO from much of what goes on, which this article covers well. I would also support injecting better management and arm's length separation for Crown Corpses. I would support open citizens governance councils and focus groups as well as online engagement for all such organizations. Canada is a nation of busybodies - left and right - and we should be harnessing that to explore politically viable solutions that are not thought up by compromised and stale career bureaucrats.

 10. You missed this part: I agree the prospects look rather bleak. But there are deeper shades of black, just as there are deeper levels of hell... Besides that, I'd love to see Canadians wise up and reject the blackface PM. Bring us back our dignity. But, naaaa

 11. 3) it isn't "my country", I just live in it, surrounded by morons Canada doesn't speak for me, and I don't speak for Canada f*ck Canada and the horse it rode in on 4) I would call them idiots, because they are and their voting patterns are a reflection of that

 12. And he's surging in the polls. Hmmm. You have the idiot Bernier as an option - now that he's been released from jail. You can vote for him.

 13. that Trudeau can't be thrown out if you vote in O'Toole he's just another Trudeau all roads lead to Trudeau all claims that Trudeau losing will somehow change how Canada is governed is wishful thinking don't let Trudeau Derangement Syndrome trick you into thinking him losing will be some big upgrade all change as a result, will be entirely superficial

 15. Canada is among those countries , they even cut our early, Our current government did everything it could to make this to complicated, and like everything acted way to slow, costing more lives. Now those Interrupters are relying on Canadian vets and other private organizations to get them out with there own funds...and we wonder why we don't play a bigger role in world politics...It is embarrassing to be a Canadian this week.. The Liberals will do what they do best and lie their way out of this, "we will negotiate for their release"...Because we are so good at it, ask the Michaels or any other Canadians trapped around the world..

 16. Oh, that may not be so hard to understand if recall that cases went down to virtual zero in the summer of 2020 and without any vaccines, none at all. Some would claim that the great policies worked but why wouldn't same policies do the same trick six month later? No, there's a simpler explanation: a seasonal effect. Cases went down again. stayed low and now beginning to pick up again. Nothing out of normal.

 17. Trudeau is pushing back at them yesterday to make himself look "steely" and tough. That's the advise of former Lib strategist Peter Donolo on Question Period with Evan Solomon yesterday. What worries me is that this very aggressive protests might backfire with voters. He'll look like the underdog that's being picked on. Anything can still happen. Everything hinges now on the debates to have O'Toole pull away from this tie, and surge ahead. I think O'Toole is very likely to do it. He has to be ready and quick on his feet to anything Trudeau might throw at him - and hopefully, O'Toole will come up with a clever one-liner that will resonate and nail Trudeau throughout the rest of the campaign weeks .

 18. Going back to Maryam Monsef - this so-called, "Minister For Gender Equality!" You Liberals have been playing women and girls for your politics! Remember MALALA? You should! After all - she's been exploited for a photo op by your PM! Malala Yousafzai receives honorary Canadian citizenship The 19-year-old Pakistani woman shot to international fame five years ago after recovering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was wounded by a Taliban gunman who opposed her advocacy of education for girls. Yousafzai decried the violence, saying: "The man who attacked Parliament Hill called himself a Muslim. But he did not share my faith. He did not share the faith of 1.5 billion Muslims living in peace around the world." https://www.dw.com/en/malala-yousafzai-receives-honorary-canadian-citizenship/a-38407702 But, you do share the same faith with them, right? You call them, BROTHERS! And, Justin Trudeau supports your sentiment!
